I dunno, like, if you look at the crane game code, it is literally random letters and numbers. It's called obfuscation, and it makes the source code completely unreadable, even to snazzy computer people. Since the matchmaking code would be very valuable to competitors, and since if it was accessible it would be (relatively) easy to hack and give yourself more favorable matchups, I can almost guarantee that it is obfuscated or something similar.

Even if we could access the matchmaking code, I can't even guarantee that he has a background in whatever language it is in. I think that the best we have to go off of is what Riot employees have said on their forums about the matchmaking.

Heh, there's no way Riot's got the code for matchmaking just sitting out in the open to look at. xD Even the Crane Game is made so that you can't access and read the code.

Yeah, it would make sense, but I bet it depends a lot on the groups that other people are putting together too. Like if you have a trio of a Level 30, a Level 25, and a Level 20, and there's a group with 3 level 25's, they might put them against each other. But I'm not totally sure.

Huh, does that affect the overall thing? I never really bothered to figure it all out. xD

Yeah, I remember levels 25-30 being a lot like that. Grouping up with other people of all different skill levels makes matchmaking go really wonky.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes it's nice to play on my own though, my husband all all his friends are in Gold ranked, so whenever we play together we usually get matched with people who are way better than me. When I play on my own, it feels easy by comparison.

Yeah, I've been pretty much exclusively practicing top, so I haven't been in the jungle much either and have only fought Dragon once. I really should try out jungle.
