oh, big mood. i usually post everywhere pretty frequently, and it's genuinely hard to keep track. doesn't help that i have the memory of... a very forgetful person.

I try to keep up with threads, but when they start moving too fast you wind up not being able to comment on some things because the conversation moved on too quickly.

It especially sucks when the conversation is really good,
But you maybe fall asleep before anyone posts... Then you come back the next morning and the conversation has already moved on

Nah, you'd just be pinged all over the place and expected to appear in three locations at once with barely enough time to hit quick reply ^^

i think i'd prefer a ping feature, though, esp if it's programmed to take you to the post you were pinged in.

idk. I find it difficult to focus on one board without the pings. When the site is slow you tend to post everywhere, so by the time it picks up you're super lost. If you get a notification that someone is chatting with you, it's easier to find that post! Sure you might not be active in all areas and the notifications can be a bother, but at least you'll be in the loop for some topics.

I don't chat. I just abuse the power of random shit posts and cat memes.

I prefer the memes and shitposts, because they at least require effort and it leaves the possibility of others being able to comment on them. Posts like "rolling through" threads not only takes zero effort, but how in the world are you supposed to respond to them?
