I haven't read anything except for my biology textbook this year D:
I'm hoping to reread The Sight by David Clement-Davies

I'm currently reading, "Reading Lollita in Teran". It's interesting. I think it's about a true story of a secret book club in the middle east that would gather and read books forbidden by law (cause of the religion and culture)so they could discuss literature.

I just started rereading the guardian by dee henderson. Such a good book!

So I'm sort of reading two things at once right now.
First I finally got myself a copy of the new Mortal Instruments book, City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare.
Then, for late-night reading I'm reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. Normally I probably wouldn't have bothered with it but it popped up for free on my Nook and then just recently I watched some of Interview With a Vampire and it got me into the vampire mood a bit heh.

How is dracula?

M e w 05-30-2011 10:04 PM

I'm only on the third chapter but so far it's actually pretty good. c:
I've still got that ridiculous picture of Dracula in my head but the description of him is actually quite different I think.

That's cool, ive been trying to find new books to read. I'm constantly reading the same ones....

Ah, well what sort of genres do you like? Maybe I can recommend something to your liking.

Airina 05-30-2011 10:20 PM

I'm pretty good with what ever.... i really like historical fiction.

I just started reading Sherlock Holmes books because I had nothing to read and I have a free "Classic Books" app on my iPod.

It's a bit hard reading books on an iPod. xD

Have you ever read Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth, by any chance? I'm reading that at the moment.

Airina 05-31-2011 04:38 PM

No i haven't what's it about?

Suzerain of Sheol 05-31-2011 05:12 PM

It's about the struggle of small village in 11th century England to build a cathedral, despite the machinations of a corrupt bishop and the depredations of a psychotic, power-hungry earl.

I don't really like it, though. The actual writing is terrible in my opinion, and the book is way too long, something like 1200 pages when the story would easily fit into 700 or so.

Airina 05-31-2011 06:09 PM

Oh.... that really sucks.....

Lunaryon 05-31-2011 07:18 PM

I'm starting the newest of the Nicholas Flamel books, the the Warlock.

Airina 05-31-2011 10:49 PM

Oooh what's that about?
