Pfft
Weird just means "not boring", that's my definition of the word. And....Honestly, it's just that I didn't know she was online when I was acting a certain way that I had promised not to act if I saw her XD Whoops ^^; Mah bad |
Mrr. -twitches ear- mrowh mew. Mauhmr.
Translation: Not really my business, -twitches ear- am not sure if I should even mingle with this stuff. But I will think about it. She's half asleep in the chair right now anyways. Sleepy kitty girls can be grumpy ones. However, still, thank you! |
Haha again, no problem!
Hmm....I just told someone that they might be mucking up the value of their items due to prices currently and the fact that I could possibly make a profit of 1200 aurum by buying their items, trading them elsewhere, then selling the runes I would be trading for. I hope I did the right thing o.o |
xD Mreow mruh. Mek mrr.
Translation: I am not a greedy biatch and I think Rainy isn't either, but still, every kitty on their own... xD I would probably have hard time refusing an offer/asking more than offered/pricing my items high, but if someone prices their item low... I would buy it. xD Therefor, Rainy and I dislike buying and selling things. 100 pearls. o3o |
Ah, well, I can understand that.
I'm not a market kinda guy, but I'm usually good at it when I want to be. If I buy 60 pearls at 80 per, that's 4800 aurums. I then trade those 60 to Doughnut for 20 Runes I then sell said runes for 6K And boom, you have a 1.2K profit from this. |
Mrew. xD Mruh mrauh. -stretches-
Translation: Rainy would never have the heart to sell runes for so much, or even sell them at all... xD And I... Well, I am too lazy for that. -stretches- |
Yes, well, I have too much memory of old times, when I would buy them at 1K per ten runes, so....I would prolly only sell them for 2.5K per 20, or 1.25K per ten. That's still a profit of 200aurums.
But, if I get runes, we all know they'll ACTUALLY be used for next month's DIs XD |
Mrew mur mek? o3o
Translation: There were times when prices were so low? O: |
Yes, there were. It was like that until, like, January-February, when there started to be a good number of items you just could not get anymore.
That's when I started selling off my bazillion copies of Woodland Archer, for 4K each, instead of the like 6K they were back then(almost 10K now @_@) At one point, I actually owned 23 copies of the woodland archer XD Now I have 0 |
Mau. o3O;;
Translation: Did site sell limited amount of those items or the rune sellers suffered from some disease and disappeared? |
Those items were actually an Aurum Donation item, the Woodland Archer. One of the older ones, though. I can't remember what month ^^;
And....well, as more people join the site, there are more items bought each month, but also more demand for said items. Demand outweighs supply, so prices go up, and up. If ever supply of an item outweighs demand, prices go down So, say, the items from the Taskal War event: The easiest ones to grab back then aren't worth too much now, but the jackets cost actual currency, and there were(theoretically) less of them, so they cost a lot more. This example can be used in a real life economy as well. While demand for oil is high, but supply is low(er), price will continue to go up and up. But, say we find a steady alternative to it, and demand goes down, then supply will steadily rise as people buy less and less, and eventually supply will outweigh demand, and prices will go down. |
Myau mek. xD
Translation: What I meant was - did they suffer and go away, that there wasn't near enough supply? I would think there have to be plenty of donators, especially with all the pretties they them selves would want... |
Well, there might have been, but Trisphee has some smart hoarers, who wil buy up all of the supply of something, and then sell it back in bits and pieces for extreme profit. I'm the polar opposite, as in I sell to make everyone else feel as if they profit XD
I'm not saying hoarding is wrong, I'm just saying it exists, and is part of what happens. |
Myauh.
Translation: I see. I know of hoarding and I know Rainy technically did it with event items, but the items she hoarded and now tries to sell, no one wants anyways... xDD; |
Well, tis bad luck is all. I got lucky that, finally, months later, people besides me started to see what a friggin cool item the Woodland Archer is, and, for a while, I was the ONLY person selling it.
|
Mayh mrh.
Translation: you still sold only for about 1,5k profit. |
