they "technically" provide vegetarian options but they're not tasty and it's pretty much the same stuff every day. I tried living on it for about 2 weeks then eventually broke down, went crazy, and lived on junk food for a while. then I leveled out and started living on Jamba Juice, and I bought a pot and pan so I could make eggs and pasta.

I just like cooking for myself. the cafeteria has eggs and pasta sometimes, but I don't get to pick when they have what I like. they do sell eggs and pasta at the mini-grocery store, though. but there's no kitchen in my dorm. I have to go down to the basement where there's a teeny tiny kitchenette. it's better than nothing.
but the mini-grocery store mostly sells junk food. pop and chips and hot pockets and candy and stuff. it does have string cheese, milk, eggs, can soups, and pasta, though. but I don't think it's enough of a variety to live off of. D: |

packages take a couple days to get here, so all the non-perishables that they could send is stuff I can already get here. I need things like hummus and cheese and vegetables. =/ but I'll eat well when I go home for Christmas, that's for sure. I also go to my grandparents' house about once a month, because they live close, so they take care of me and my grandma always sends me home with food.

it was interesting, but strangely good. they didn't actually taste like candy corn, but it was colored like them, and had some sort of flavoring that made it taste different.

I'm an a/v tech in my school's clinic; basically what I get to do is record therapy sessions (I just control the cameras, label the tapes, and check the volume level from my secret cave) and I check out equipment to professors and students.

yeah, totally. but I have to work at 8 in the morning 3 days a week, and until 10 at night the other two. ;~; at least the mornings aren't going to be busy at all.

There was an offer a while back for students who knew Sign Language at my school, but the pay was chump change compared to other places. e_e I've been debating on whether or not I should just learn certain medical stuff and work for my uncle. >_> Fizzy: Ooh, that sounds nice! |
yeah, my schedule will mess up my sleep for sure. D: but I'd rather sleep less and get paid, because the alternative is to have no money or work experience. I'm actually pretty excited, despite the fact that I won't be getting much sleep next semester.

yeah, having no work experience sucks big time. DX volunteering at the library helped. I was able to pretend it was work experience. X'D no one believed it until now though.
