Yuu was about to open the door when he heard the noise outside. He quickly ran down the hallways and back to where Toshi was, seeing the mess on the floor and rushed over, driven by the desire to help Toshi. As he reached down to help Toshi back up, he stopped. It pained him not to be able to do anything about it and he looked away. It hurt him even more after he stood up and left her to do her chores without saying a word to Toshi.

Toshi heald her breath as she seen she just created more work for herself but it couldn't be helped not in her current state and it wasn't like she had anyone to lean on as if she asked Yuu for help he'd have to act like some stuck up jerk.

On seeing Yuu her eye brightened as she thought he wouls risk helping her as no one else was around, seeing him look away from her she knew exactly what that meant and moved to her knees bowing low "forgive me Yuu sama, I didn't mean to disturb you" her words where low seeing him leave she went around clearing the mess she made before doing the rest of her choresf inishing she didn't have the energy to make it to her room so just curled up in front of the fire to sleep

Yuu took a few minutes stripping himself and pulling the wrappings off. His wounds had healed unusually fast, and thought it was probably due to how Nobuo's body worked. Even his broken finger was now somewhat healed, though the pain was still there when he tried to wiggle it around. Sighing, he stepped into the water and sat there, hoping that he could get his mind off of things, but it didn't help at all. One full year was a very long time and he couldn't stand to wait that long. Out there was probably something he could use as proof other than having to wait a full year while pushing Toshi around.

A few months had passed and she was slowly seeing a change in Yuu, he seemed almost content as he was accepted in a way he never had been, but through this exceptance they had grown distant to one another. She didn't blame him, after living so long without exceptance to finally gain it was a marvolus thing, almost like an entrapping toxin

Once again she had woken infront of the fire, they had been working her so hard that she just began to call that spot hers, the mat had became tattered from where she had been sleeping on it so often. Fer eyes flickered opened at the risen sun touched them and her eyes opened in a panic "Not again!" she had over slept and dashed towards the bathing chamber, she had no idea how much she over slept but she knew she had to get things sorted and quickly

Yuu was up and early, practicing his writing and was well aware he had some spelling errors. He would have someone check it for him and correct it so he could learn from his mistakes. Then, he heard someone running down the hallway, and the only person who would do that was Toshi, unless it was Ai or Kaito running at Toshi to drag her out for punishment. Though he had gotten used to it by now and didn't bother to go see what the emergency was since it would have been pointless for him, unless it was to stand there and watch her struggle.

Toshi quickly undressed and moved into the warm water, she didn't have the time to enjoy it, though just feeling the warm water soothed her soar limbs and she found herself falling back into a dream filled state, her breathing easing as she did so

over the last few months she had become aware of her other form, and when not having to do chores or being tormented she went out side and practiced she still didn't understand it all she did know was 'don't get caught'

Afer an hour she woke up again feeling slightly more refreshed, she believed it had just been a bad freem, but she had soon came to her sences and moved out of the watter quickly drying herself and changing into a peach kimono, with a white obi.

Quickly she moved to the kitchen to start breakfast and moved out of the house knowing it would take thirty minutes to cook. Believing everyone to be sleeping she cleared her mind and changed to her other form letting out a sigh she looked to her hand and made a dagger of crystal appear and began to practice using it

Kaito had woken up. He had a pile of pillows in the room and normally he would take his crow form when resting, but it was more convenient to be in human form when he was around Toshi just in case he wanted to drag her outside to punish her. He was happy with his new life in his new home, almost forgetting about the invader that had massacred his entire village. He had also started getting used to Yuu acting like a normal tengu and found a different way to keep his superiority over his brother.

His eyes flew open when he heard knocking outside his door and he quickly took on his human form and sprung to his feet. He walked over and opened it, seeing Yuu standing in front of him with some pieces of parchment paper covered in writing that was still fresh, and he knew just what Yuu wanted, "So you've come for help again?"

Toshi continued practicing she was beginbing to feel drained again but it wasn't as bad as she previouly felt when entering the form, she started to feel comfortable with the dagger and thus it grew longer to mimic a katana.

unlike with the dagger she worked through the steps slowly to try and get the hang of them but ended up tripping over her own feet and landed hard onthe ground "gah!" she forgot she was under Ai and Kaito's windows she was lucky as Ai went to market on this day every week, and she believed kaito still to be sleeping

Kaito had instructed Yuu to go back to his room and continue practicing on the fixes that he showed him right after he heard Toshi yell right under his window. He was annoyed by it, and after Yuu had left his room he decided to go threaten her to go do her chores somewhere other than under his window. He opened his windows out wide and jumped right out, his wings spread out a second after he did and slowed his descent. What he didn't expect was to see another tengu standing in front of him.

Inevitably, as he was falling back on his territorial instincts and traditions, he swiftly changed all the way into his tengu form, covered in a brilliant orange and yellow attire and drew out his sword, pointing it at Toshi but had no idea that the tengu was actually her, "I hope that you are aware that you are trespassing. What is your purpose in coming here?"

Seeing Kaito infront of her Toshi was startled, she was scared and unsure how he would take to her in this form she wanted to bow but in doing that she knew he would just punish her but if she didn't she was going to get punished anyway her eyes went to the crystal blade she had made, she wasn't so concerned about Kaito at the moment but to the weapon, she didn't understand why though.

Flicking her hand the blade vanished and she formed a wakazashi much like the one Toshi use to adorn with her kimono's "I am not trespassing" her words where calm as she spoke, though like before it sounded as if two people where speaking "I live here" moving to her knees she bowed low to him as Toshi normally would, she had only realized now she possessed a form like Yuu and Kaito but she didn't understand how, her parent's where both Human or so she thought

"You live here? Out of all the months that I have been present here, I have yet to see you at least once. So why is it that you only show up now?" though upon seeing her bow it was a sign of submission and thus he put his sword away. He found it awkward listening to her and staring at her. There was nothing on her that resembled a normal tengu. Her voice was wrong, her coloration was beyond rare, and he had the strange feeling that he had met her somewhere but he was certain he'd remember such a unique tengu.

Began to nod from her bowed position, and hearing him talking she sat up "You see me daily Kaito sama" after speaking she bowed once more clenching her hands to prevent a finger been broken "I'm breaking a rule... number thirty three if I am correct" her voice shook slightly as she spoke "I didn't know this was a Tengu form or I wouldn't have done it... I'm sorry" she almost wanted to cry she was treated badly when she was not doing anything wrong but now she had

"That rule only applies to marked tengu. And as far as I see, you are not marked, so you're not doing anything wrong," after Toshi had explained herself, he understood that the one in front of him was Toshi. But it didn't explain how she was tengu when she claimed that she was human. And more or less, she was from an unknown tribe so he had no reason to attack her on that account, "You were most likely adopted by humans, Toshi. And what of your brother? Was he an adopted tengu as well?"

Hearing his words she moved to her feet and dusted herself off befor bringing up her mask "I wasn't adopted... I was born here by my mother" her hand pointed to Miyu's tree "I was born there" her voice still shook slightly "I know who my parent's where and will not allow an outsider to tell me otherwise!" she felt somewhat insulted and it showed as she brought her mask down in her hands formed twin daggers which where beautifully decorated

"Ai and I are both Humans... You fly around this place daily and have never seen another Tengu... I've lived here for over two hundred years and the first tengu I ever met was Yuu" her voice almost growled at him as her eyes glowing dully, she was so angry she forgot to place title at the end of Ai and Yuu's names

"At least one of your parents 'was' a tengu! You stand before me in that form as proof of that you are an heir to the blood!" Kaito spat, ruling out the possibility that Toshi was some sort of shape changer since her whole aura and personality seemed different, and that's something a shape changer couldn't mimic so easily even if they were skilled with the ability. Though, despite trying to explain, he viewed Toshi as someone who was thickheaded and stubborn, and thus would have a difficult time digesting what he was saying if she took any of it at all.

Yuu sat there for a while, listening carefully to what was being said outside. He couldn't hear everything but he understood that they were talking about Toshi being either a human or tengu. With that, he immediately opened his window and hopped out, changing into his tengu form as he came to a slow enough descent so he wouldn't hurt himself upon landing. His clothing had intricate designs colored in bright purples and reds and his eyes glowed purple beneath the mask as he walked towards the two, "What is..?"

Though Yuu was interrupted by a shocked Kaito who had immediately taken hold of Yuu's shoulder after seeing Yuu's new coloration. Even if Yuu had tried to put on brighter clothing in his tengu form, they would have immediately changed color to suit him. But there before him was a perfectly normal looking tengu. The only explanations that Kaito could come up with was that Yuu had an abnormally delayed coloration, since some tengu don't get their colors until later in their childhoods, or that he had been using some sort of strong spell which he didn't believe Toshi was capable of even if she knew how, "This is..."

"This is what we are. Tengu...and..." Yuu looked at Toshi, sensing that somehow this one was closer to the Toshi he was familiar with. So somehow she had figured out that she had the ability, and there was no use hiding that fact. At least he could tell her that one of her parents was a tengu, but wasn't willing to tell her the rest while Kaito was there. He glared at Kaito, "Toshi, she isn't a marked, so don't punish her for taking this form."

Toshi looked to Kaito "don't wish to be heir to Tengu blood! I am happy being Human!" making a symbol on her had it glowed shifting her into normal form, standing still for a moment her hand going to her head as she fell down through dizzyness "I feel dizzy" she sounded groggy as she spoke

Noticing both Yuu and Kaito in front of her and bowed low "have I caused a disurbance? I am sorry" her voice had changed and so had her peronality back to the submissive Toshi once more "Can I finish making breakfast before I am punished" she couldn't remember what had happened since exiting the house.

The swords on Yuu's side glowed purple for a second 'she bound her tengu form... it's not something she can handle as of yet it seems' the voice was of a more educated man 'trust my grandson to be difficult when choosing a bride... but I am proud of him he choose well' the voice was warm, and held no hint od an insult

"Get to it. Do it quickly," Kaito said in a commanding voice. He was hungry, and all the commotion made that more apparent. He grumbled watching Toshi. There was no point in pushing it and treating her like another normal tengu when she bluntly refused her own blood.

Took not a second before she stood and moved but she felt dizzy once more "Yuu Sa..." she stopped, she was going to ask for some help to get back into the house but decided against it especially since Kaito was there and he was in a god awful mood "Breakfast will be ready in a few moments Kaito Sama" with that she moved into the house

once in the house she moved to the kitchen and started placing the rice into a giant bowl, placing the fish onto a plate, and done the same with some fruit taking them in to where the table had already been set up. Walking back into the kitchen she would bring out a teapot and placed it down on the table before kneeling at her usual spot waiting fot Yuu and Kaito to arrive

"Just how many secrets are you two hiding? Just how much of it is truth..?" Kaito asked, staring in the direction that Toshi went to. He remembered that Yuu had said that he was a marked, and although he disliked the idea of knowing that it was true, he disliked it even more that he was never told that by anyone else and left in the dark about it, "Is it true that Toshi is a normal tengu? And is it true that I am a marked?"

"Yes and no..for Toshi. But, I was told that you were a marked, but you came out looking like a normal tengu," Yuu felt that Kaito would most likely think he was lying once again and started his walk to go back into the house, and looked back, "You know..now that the elders are gone, we don't have to be bound by old rules and traditions. You can go out and start your own tribe and.."

Kaito covered Yuu's mouth, "And what? Become unprotected again? Risking another attack like what happened to our village? Are you stupid!?" Kaito suddenly panicked and apologized to Yuu, bowing low, now that he realized that he was the marked. He grinded his teeth, not wanting to be a marked since he had been raised as a normal tengu.

"Don't bow to me. Don't try to live the life as a marked.. No tengu deserves to be punished based on what they were born as," Yuu was going to say that he despised Kaito for treating him and Toshi so horribly, but he held back his tongue and anger, "I think breakfast is ready.."

Toshi was sat at the table quietly starting to dish out breakfast like she normally did every morning "Sorry breakfast is late Kaito sama, and Yuu sama" she was totally unaware of the happenings that where going on behind her

Out of the sword came a white mist that engulfed both Yuu and Kaito, standing in front of them was Ken'ichi "Kaito kun, only bow when required by politeness... you where gifted a good life do not throw it away" his words where gentle, he knew exactly what Kaito had been doing to his daughter but said nothing about it as it was the way he was raised "Your father side was dominant and thus you are not marked so get that thought right out of your mind, you are on equil footing with Yuu kun" he was stearn on this matter

"Toshi's mother was a Tengu priestess, so Toshi chan is half... so going by your race's rules she would be lower than a marked and because of her abilitys and her color more than likely given to a Tengu elder as a slave or some sort of object, I'd rather her be here if she has to be tormented" he then thought of what Kaito brought up about adoption "Ai kun was adopted, I found him in the forest and raised him as my own son... I suspect he may be a Tengu of the shadows" even Ken'ichi's eyes showed worry at that, his wife had told him that that clan was one of the most vicious of all clans

"Yuu kun you are doing well in your studies keep it up" his voice sounded like a proud father as he smiled the mist faded back into the sword, Toshi had made sure all tea had been poured and made sure there was food on each plate before eating her food in the way she had been for the last three months, she no longer felt humiliated by it, she just seen it as another peice of her life

Kaito and Yuu would sit down. Yuu was not so surprised by what Ken'ichi said, except for the part where he started saying that Toshi was probably lower than a marked, which is something he never heard about. And Kaito was just surprised by the entire encounter. Though, being more knowledgeable than Yuu on the tengu cultures, he did worry about Ai. If Ai was anything like Toshi, and if Ai had discovered that he had such an ability to transform, then they would all most likely be in danger and of course he didn't want to go through the same experience as he did the last time he was at his village.

"Kaito, you don't look so good," Yuu was watching Kaito right after Ken'ichi vanished, wanting to see just how badly shaken Kaito would be. Maybe that sadistic characteristic was rubbing off on him. Though he started eating before Kaito could give an answer.

"I will be leaving shortly," Kaito answered as if it were nothing, starting to eat as well. Of course he thought that even if he was in a house protected by runes, they wouldn't stand a chance against someone like Ai, if it was indeed true that he was from the shadow tribe.

Toshi sat up after finishing eating hoping not to be asked to have a second helping, she noticed that Kaito seemed a little off since she had seen him only a few moments outside she felt the aftermath of her father's energy but that couldn't have been it as her father never attacks without cause and she knew he wouldn't blame Kaito for treating her this way it was just his tribes way of doing things

"My mother put up some special runes, she said it would protect all inside from the shadows" she thought perhaps he had been threatened by one of her other ancesters with a ninja, she had no idea it had something to do with Ai "My mother talked of a priestess called Lunia... who taught her the runes..." she smiled not realizing that Lunia was one of the spirits from earlier "She was kept in a guilded cage much like this one... apparently her people treated marked even worse than what Yuu was" her voice went up a pitch as she heard the door opening suddenly turning she seen it was Ai and bowed low "Ai sama, would you care for something to eat?" her voice turned extreamly submissive

Ai nodded and took his place next to Kaito as Toshi went to fetch another plate and cup "You're leaving brother?" he sounded genuinlly hurt over Kaito saying such things. Ai knew nothing of his other form or even his heritage, but had studdied all Tribes that had a book. If he was from the Shadow tribe then Kaito would know just by saying the word 'brother' meant he was safe no matter what happened as the shadow never hurt those who they classed as 'true' family

He watched as Toshi placed down a plate and a cup then proceeded to fix him breakfast, looking to Toshi's plate he noticed it was empty "Have something to eat, you silly bitch" after all at meal times that is exactly what she was to the three of them nothing but an animal "Yes Ai Sama, thank you for allowing me to eat" she placed some more food onto her plate, she only wanted to give herself a small portion but if she did then she would get into trouble.

One she filled her plate once more she went back to eating allowing them to get back to whatever they where discussing, she even spoke while they where like this and she knew bad things would follow "Why would you be leaving brother, you said you where enjoying your life here" his eyes looked as hurt as his voice sounded as he began to eat his food, if the fact he was calling him brother wasn't enough the fact he was showing saddened emotions should have been

Now Yuu was getting a little sqeamish with the news as well. They met a person named Lunia back at the town, and hoped that wouldn't be the same one. And now he was even more shocked to see that Ai was showing some emotion beyond something with an evil intent. Kaito was a little shocked too, never having seen Ai look so hurt before. But if things held true to what he studied from his books, and what Toshi had said, then he was safe, unlike Yuu and Toshi, "I was just a little overwhelmed with some things I heard earlier.. I think I'm okay now."

Ai stopped eatting hearing what Kaito said "What overwhelmed you so muvh you would want to leave a life you enjoy?" he was genuinlly confused and curious on the natter, he was about to start eatting again but stopped before the chopstick touched the rice "brother I have a request of you..." he paused and bowed slightly to Kaito "help me find out my race... I want to know what I am, I know I am not human" he had always felt incompleate withot this information and he thought Kaito would be abe to help him

"And just where do you want to start?" Kaito said. Although Ai might have a slim chance of being from another tribe other than the shadow tribe or maybe a different species altogether, he just didn't know if he'd just want to say it out so bluntly.

Just as Ai was about to speak toshi sat up and looked to ai "why not just ask mothers spirit she should be abe to tell if your Tengu... Yuu said that the lulaby she sang to me was tengu" she wanted to help him that she forgot her manners "if you want to talk to her she's by Miyu's tree trying to help her" she still felt guilty about what happend to miyu

Ai was ready to yell at her but noticed the rune on the back of her left hand "a tengu binding?" he looked to kaito wondering if this was some strange trick he was playing on Toshi and Yuu, as he didn't believe Yuu had the proficency to do any magic

Yuu shuddered at the thought of seeing Ai as a tengu. He thought it would be more horrific, and several fold on the trouble for Toshi since tengu forms were built for strength and endurance. He couldn't say he was opposed to it though since he still believed that upsetting Ai would earn a punishment for either him or Toshi. And Toshi was leaping right into it, right into Ai's hand and looking as though she had upset Ai. It looked like Ai was ready to yell at Toshi, but he was relieved when he was distracted by something else.

Kaito's eyes widened, just noticing the mark on Toshi like Ai had done. Then he saw that Ai looked at him questioningly and Kaito shifted around uncomfortably, "It appears to be a tengu seal that was placed on her by someone other than myself."

Toshi's mother came into the house and looked to Toshi with a smile "Go take a long bath, you look as if you need it" her words where as warm as any mothers should be bowing to everyone Toshi took this time to run without arguments

Waiting till Toshi left her mother came to where toshi was sitting and looked down at the plate on the floor "I can not say I approve of you treating your sister like a pet Ai" her voice sounded disapointed as she spoke "Elder siblings are suppose to protect their younger siblings it seem Tengu from most clans for get this" she say looking at Kaito and Ai, but shook her head

"No mind... The marking on Toshi's hand was done by Toshi" she was calm as she spoke "Helping Yuu's mother escape broke a seal I wish hadn't broke so early, her psyche wasn't prepared for it and now she is denying a part of her" she sighed and looked to Yuu for a moment

"You three have the same father... The tribe of Shadow's most honored warrior in fact" she sounded happy but rolled her eyes, she came from the least aggresive Tengu clan, so she didn't really care for brute force, moving her hands which began to glow blue she gentely, effortlessly and painlessly pulled Nobuo from Yuu "How it was ment to be... twins" she narrowed her eyes at Ai, Nobuo and Kaito "Yuu is the same as you all you will not torment him because he has a kind heart" her words where stearn and as the highest ranking Tengu even if she was of a diffrent clan her word was law

"Nobuo, Yuu... The girl from earlier... Lunia, she was the one I tried to protect... your mother, the priestess of the shadow Tribe" she knew it would be a shock to Yuu, but in fact what Lunia had said about Toshi helping him get revenge had actually already happened in the fact Kaito knew that one side of his family was in fact marked

Yuu squirmed, not only from having Nobuo forcibly pulled out as it felt like a huge chunk of himself had just been ripped out, but also from hearing that his mother was the monster they saw earlier at the inn. It couldn't have possibly be right, that they were twins. They shared the same memories, and Nobuo had more memories than what Yuu had, possibly more. So he was sitting to an almost exact clone of himself, Nobuo being in his human form for he time being.

Nobuo also didn't like it. While he was more violent than the normal Yuu, they had lived as one person. Growing up and sharing the same memories, and feelings, though their approach to handle problems were far different from each other. Even from the previous wakes they had been together as one entity and never once did they consider themselves as anything other than one soul. He of course glared at Toshi's mother and wanted to slice her down where she was.

Kaito on the other hand was even more shocked than the other two since he was well aware of the shadow tribe. He just couldn't believe that his father was from there and that Ai was indeed directly related to him. He felt a little sick from the information, since the shadow tribe was also one of the most hated tribes, "Why didn't they tell us any of this earlier?"

Toshi's mother looked at Nobuo and to yuu "You are still linked and can merge at any point you wish, it's just with my eyes i see your tru forms and it doesn't look right... besides it's politer to speak to you both when you are infront of me" she wanted to show why she done it and it wouldn't be lasting

"They didn't tell you for the same reason we do not tell Toshi... to protect you" she closed her eyes and let out a gentle sigh "You do not know do you Kaito... time for a history lesson" she was serious about theis as she brought up her hand an orb of light appeared showing images

"The priestess's of the six main clans where kidknapped from their sanctuarys by the elders who where meant to protect them..." she took a pause for the next part she hated when she had to speak to Nobuo and Yuu about it but the rest had a right to know what lies they had been fed "Once taken the priestess's where impregnated and experimented on... three to have boys and three to have girls" she closed her eyes and tears begam to roll down her cheeks "they where to be used as weapons or other idiotic things, but my son died in my womb" her eyes opened and they would be able to see her being tried down and force to watch as they tested the child to find out what was wrong

"the other priestess's had their children taken from them and where forced to watch also, but in a feat of love your father stole you from their Yuu and hid you within the marked" she hoped he understood his father's way of thinking, better to be beaten than dead "your mother and I placed out energys together to escape but she didn't get far before we got caught i was weak from being experimented on and so my magic failed... i was left for dead an...."

she was interupted, behind here Lunia stood tall and proud, with deep purple hair matching her indigo eyes, she wore what to be a long cheonsam made of silk, it was a twilight purple "And I was pulled away by one of the elders and myself and the others where all killed to hide the experiments... any child we bore after that would have strange colored eyes be it purple or red" lunia peaned against the door frame "Only one child remains from that experiment and that's you my dear son, and because of what Misha went through it was inevitible that any child she had would be the same, so you two are the only living proof that this happened" she stretched lightly

"Yes the Shadow Tribe was hated, but we didn't needed to be liked... we done things for other Tribes who believed it was below them or if they needed extra support we where there to do what we done best" with that she chuckled as her tribe where not known for their strategic battle plans, it was more 'let's get stuck in'

Yuu couldn't believe that the spirit in front of him was the same one they had encountered earlier, the same one that tried to make him and Toshi cave into their negative emotions. She looked dramatically different and had a more serene attitude. And all this time, he grew up not being able to feel what it was like to have the normal loving bond of a child to its parent, but all of a sudden he was faced with it.

Misha bowed her head slightly to Lunia who nodded in return just by their greetings to one another you could tell their tribes mannerism where completly diffrent. moving swiftly it almost seemed as if Lunia was floating across the room than walking just to sit in between Nobuo and Yuu her eyes going to Misha

"We are going to have to get ready" she say her voice whispy, Misha lowered her head and shook it "We can't... neither of them are ready" her voiced seemd calm yet you could tell she was the submissive of the two even though they held the same rank "We'll make them ready" Lunia scorned only to have Misha flick her hand dismissivly

"He doesn't have a teacher and she denies my blood Lunia... her Tengu form draws her life essence... she could die if she goes into it!" her voice showed worry for them bioth considering she knew what Lunia was talking about "Even if they where both trained, there is no sure way that they would win... Here they are safe... what do you think they would do to them if they caught them alive?!" her voice raised slightly showing it was another unthough plan

"You think your son went through hell in the clan he was raised, they would be lower than marked... I will not have them subjugated to this" her voice was showing her panic "Misha, it is something we need to face eventually even your passifist daughter will have to go against them" her voice showed she didn't like it but she didn't have much of a choice neither of them did

Lunia's eyes then went to Kaito and Ai "Touch your brother with malic again and I will take you to a fear you will never recover from!" her voice demanded an instant answer, and though ai didn't relize why especially since he didn't know this woman bowed as soon as she made her statement "I understand" his voice was humble as he spoke

"Remember your own words Lunia do not drag my daughter into this, The elders think that it's over and done with leave it like that," she then realized something "Oh no... their father became ancient after the last one quote unquote 'had an accident'" everyone knew there was no such thing as accidents in that tribe, if you wanted to get higher in the chain you bumped off the guy that was there at the moment, the only one no one had the balls to try and do anything to was the priestess's until one night the ancient's their own husbands betrayed them to make 6 childrent the could twist

Kaito, being the one who had more knowledge of the clans than the others, aside from Misha and Lunia, got a bit of a hint over where this was going. It was a ridiculous idea, he thought. Two people up against the elders and an army was just suicide, even if the two were meant to be living weapons. But, obviously they had all been enlightened to the bigger picture of things, between the relationships of the tribes and what had happened in the shadows, "Sending only two people is madness."

Yuu had no idea what was being said, having less education than Kaito and also for the fact that he was somewhat distracted with just staring at his mother. As far as he knew, the two spirits were having a personal fight and nothing too substantial. And Nobuo wouldn't have minded, going into a slaughter, if that's what Lunia meant.

Misha and Lunia both looked to Kaito "See even he agree's with me and that's if they where ready" her voice was slightly harsher than normal, but the house showed no raction to it "Misha, he is still young and soesn't have a full understanding" she growled

Misha looked around the room for a moment, before standing and moving to the wall and touched it. Her eyes went wide "TOSHI!!!" she screamed running out the room and down the hall to where her daughter was, opening the bathing room's door slightly she seen her daughter leaning over the side of the rim of the bath contently asleep, she let out a sigh of relief before walking back

Lunia looked to Misha "Is everything all right?" her voice showed some confusion to what just happened "I'm sorry but the house should have reacted to our tones but it didn't... I went to the wall to check as you seen" her voice was low and showed a combination of distress and confusion "The runes weakened for a moment, but that is impossible" she whispered kneeling once more

Outside hanging upside down on a tree branch their would be a figure clad in black with some red in spots watching the goings on their purple eyes glowing as they did so "protections gone" now by the voice you could tell the figure was female she giggled contently this was the first time they had been allowed out of their protective area so if anything it was more like a field trip

"Why do you think the masters want those two?" she asked looking to the house once more "They don't look like anything special" rocking back and forward she shugged and though she wanted to caw she resisted they had been told complete silence

"Toshi?" Yuu stood up, he followed a few yards behind Misha. If she was worried, then he thought something must have been wrong. And Nobuo followed, not wanting to be too far from his other self after an unnatural split. Yuu could feel Nobuo's presence behind him, like a warm vapor brushing his backside. When they had stopped, Yuu stopped as well, hearing what Misha had to say and was worried for their safety, "The runes weakened?"

The other was dressed in a similar fashion, though he was sitting on the same branch, swinging his legs back and forth. His red eyes fixed on the house, his grin was ever wide. Thoughts of tearing through the house raced through his mind, thinking about all the fun they would have while doing their mission. "If they don't look like anything special, it must be something inside them. I want to see it! I want to see it!" it made him think that Toshi and Yuu were both gift boxes that needed to be ripped open to get to the prize inside, "Do you think the masters will be displeased if we take a peek at what's inside before they do?"

Misha nodded "Yes the protection the runes gave vanished for a moment... that is suppose to be impossible" she sounded worried and looked to Lunia "Only a priestess could disarm those, and even that they would have to be our level or stronger" Lunia lifted her hand and waved it dismissivly "If there where any stronger then they wouldn't have choosen us to be lab rats" she hissed lightly "Your imagination is getting to you priestess of the moon" she chuckled

Misha looked to Lunia "A fool doesn't take heed to what they are being told priestess of the shadow, the runes where deactivated..." but she sighed believing she was just being over protective "Don't mind me, just worried about toshi after all she is weakned at the moment" closing her eyes she sighed "We can't send them even if they where trained, they wouldn't ever come back" it was the cold cruel truth and she didn't what them to go through it

Stopped swinging and tilted her head "Oh... you mean like the special presents when we do well!" she exclaimed, she rocked faster and back flipped off the branch landing on her feet in compleate silence "I wanna see what the gifts are" she went towards the house even though she knew it wasn't the best time she just wanted to see the insides of the gift boxes though on hearing his words she stopped

"I never thought of that... but the masters didn't say anything about them not being opened did they?" she tried to think back but she was drawing a blank as she had been to excited to listen to the orders compleatly

"Wouldn't be able to come back?" Nobuo was perplexed, though he was curious to find out what exactly the two were talking about. It was those words that had him more worried than the fact that the runes had given in. He didn't like the idea of him being involved in something that would cause him to not return.

He shrugged, shaking his head as if he had no idea whether or not there were any specifics on keeping the two 'unopened', "Nope. Nadda. They didn't say anything about it. So howa bout we go open some gifts!" He pushed himself up and got on his feet. Then he pointed at the house, "Meow."

Misha looked to Nobuo and nodded "if you where to go after the elders or get anywhere near them, there is a very high chance you would never be coming back, and even if you did..." she paused and looked down "There is no way you'd be the same" she she sounded saddened as she spoke about it

Lunia rolled her eyes as she looked to Misha "And what you rather them kept in a prison like we where" she sounded angered by this fact watching as Misha stood "Better to be in a prison you know.. where you are safe, than a prison where they will treat you like we where!" with that Misha faded

Rie stopped and looked at her mated counter-part and bit her lip "What if they told us not to and we did..." she started walking towards him "We would get punished, to many punishments and we would end up in boxes under the earth" she smiled brightly as they were always praised for being the strongest out of the six children, when in fact they where the last "We should keep them intact... perhaps the masters would give us better gifts if we give them the whole present and not just inside" she grinned brightly

"Besides, if the present is already wrapped then we don't have to wrap so it saves us a job" she giggled like a lunitic "nyah" she giggled walking closer to the house

"Why are you so smart?" Arata said playfully before hopping off the branch and onto the ground. He walked low, almost slouched and dragged his broad sword through the ground, his held tilted to one side, "No punishments for us. Better gifts, yes!" He was so happy, he couldn't hold it in for much longer, "Let's hurry! My curiosity is killing me!"

"You're smart too" she giggled watching him trying to carry the big sword, then she looked to her own Jian, it had a black scabbard with red tassles "You where an idiot for choosing such a big bulky weapon" she poked it contently "Yup if we are good we get no punishments but we do get presents" she almost cawed again

Though grabbed arata as he heard the door slidding open and one of the intended targets walking out with a bowl "Oh look there's one" she whispered exitedly watching the girl as she done her usual routine
