My friend and I have been watching a lot of movies lately so here is a list from what I can remember.

I love the avengers!!!!! I've never watched hitch and earth to echo. Are they any good?

Mmmm Of course I love nearly all super hero movies. But yesterday I sat down with my brother and watched all of the Jurassic Park movies. :D Fun stuffs.
Edit :: Just watched the first How to Train Your Dragon.. for the first time... Oh my gosh! it was awesome!!! Why did I not watch this sooner!?!?! |
I just watched How to Train Your Dragon 2...probably one of the few sequels that was just as good as the first one...perhaps except for the villain.
Can I just acknowledge that Toothless is the most powerful being in his realm. He is essentially a miniature fusion/plasma generator...that is a living being, and a dragon at that. Seriously, as living beings are known for effectively putting entropy to some use (growing the organism, tossing it out of the local system, using it to do things), and fusion is the energy source that would fix modern energy issues (either by collecting solar energy, or producing a fusion reaction)...a living fusion generator would be amazing. And here's a dragon, that acts like a puppy and a kitten, is curious, and all...on my "Favorite Fictional Dragon" list are now in order Temeraire, Toothless, Saphira, and Smaug. |
... I have to say.. When I watched the first one.. I guess it was technically this morning (around 3am..) I think I squealed a bit when he was acting kitten/puppy like.. I never thought such a fierce creature could have been so darned cute!!
I really need to watch the second one now. But as for movies I ended up watching Despicable Me 2 today.. let me just say, it was pretty awesome too! |

Earth to Echo was actually really good. It was done like a fantasy documentary so it felt real in the way that District 9 could have happened. If that makes sense. With the exception of one character I felt like the relationships were realistic enough that I could believe it. As for Hitch, I loved it. GO watch it if you have netflix. |

Jason X is the one that takes place in space. Jeepers Creepers 2 actually isn't bad. The first one had potential I thought, but didn't really deliver. Is Halloween 5 H2O? Not sure of the order. I've only seen a couple.

Guardians of the Galaxy was amazing. I honestly didn't think it would be, but it was.

How was that one, by the way? Was it as ridiculously action-packed as the last two Transformers movies? Or action-packed in a good amount?

It was pretty good, imo. Not so much 'splody action as the last movie, and more *gasp* actual story. Plus, Hound. Hound totally stole the spotlight without meaning to. :D

The last film I saw at the cinema was Guardians of the Galaxy. I love marvel films and this one was by far the best one to date in my opinion. It had me laughing so much and the cameos of people like Stan Lee and Nathan Fillion worked really well. Also Peter Serafinowicz was brilliant! His character in the Nova Corps was well written as were all the key players!
The last film I watched at home was The Hunchback of Notre Dame as I've recently bought a load of Disney films ready for when my daughter i old enough and for a nostalgia trip ^_^;; |

Iron Man: Rise of Technovore. I'd like to see the Japanese version, but the dub was surprisingly good, and the animation was amazing.
Last thing I saw in theaters was Guardians of the Galaxy, for the eighth time. X3 |
Captain America: the winter soldier. I couldn't see it in theaters. :)

Oh god haha... Wolf of Wall Street. So profane in almost every aspect. I didn't even feel comfortable watching that movie by myself, but I'll admit the plot was pretty good.
The last movie I watched was Pacific Rim. I don't think I could get tired of it. |
In theaters my roommate and I saw Penguins of Madagascar. On Netflix, we watched The Kingdom of Badassum, and Sharknado 2

Blended. Though the reviews it got weren't very good, I enjoyed it. I thought it was a cute movie with a different kind of romance in the mix. And I loved how elements of 50 First Dates were combined into the movie. (Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and 10-second Tom)
