Comments From Mercy: This avatar is quite obviously evil, which is a very good thing. I also like that you tried to make an original touch to it. While I do like it I feel the avatar is top heavy with large head wings then large back wings. The white wings really have no place here either. The pants are extremely busy compared to the top part of the avi as well and it keeps distracting me from the rest.

Comments From Mercy: I really like this avatar with a few exceptions. I feel like the pinkish color in the hair should of been repeated somewhere in the lower part of the avi and I also think there could of been a lot more done to make it more evil. Without the wings it wouldn't succeed in this challenge. Interesting use of the penguin skin though!

Comments From Mercy: I think this is probably one of the most successful versions of this challenge. Though I feel it could of used some more risk. It is very cut and dry good, but its very refreshing from all of the dark.

Comments From Mercy: I really don't think this hit the mark on the theme at all. Very original but it just looks like a zombie. When I think evil I think something more like demon or devil. Being evil is a conscious decision, and while zombies are usually illustrated as evil. They are really nothing more than an undead animal with the basest of needs. To feed whether you survive or not. They make no conscious decisions to be evil and therefore really don't succeed for this challenge at all.

Comments From Mercy: I wish I could score this higher. I really like this avatar. But it's another avatar with a piece of the wrong side thrown in. In your case its the tail. This is one of my favorite avatars and would normally be easily good. Other than that it's very well done, I would only suggest a little more yellow in the chest area to balance it a bit more.

Comments From Mercy: This was probably the most original avatar in this for me. I really like it and it makes a very interesting look at evil with all the darkness. My only complain is the boney spike hair, I am just not a very big fan of the item.

I would of scored this higher but I just felt like it came off as a bit cluttered and while I know the avatar is evil, due to the excess it made it a little harder to make that out. I love the character of it but I think it would benefit from less items to make its true intentions a bit more clear.

It happens to be in my opinion one of the most well balanced avatars in this challenge, Though I think a bit more black and red in the hair/head area would benefit this a lot, and I would definitely like to see something more original. Otherwise great job!

Comments From Mercy: I really love this avatar. Purple is such a pretty color, but I felt like it was a little too dark. All the dark colors together are a little hard to contrast between the items. Maybe try using a darker lilac color rather than a super dark violet. Definitely one of my favorites.

Comments From Mercy: This doesn't feel like good or evil to me. I really think this is more adventurous young anime girl that's whimsical. I like it but it just doesn't fit the theme. I really feel like the only item that was bending it towards good was the feet wings. I wish I could score you higher because I like the avatar, but it definitely needed some more 'good' to it. Add in maybe a glow, a little halo and some cute white wings and it would of hit a nice balance between that cute anime girl and little angel.

Comments From Mercy: I think this is the only other one that really did't hit the theme. I love the witch item and its use here. But I am not sure which way you are trying to go. It just looks like a witch. While the avatar looks cute that doesn't make it good and evil. I realize a good number of people in the world consider witches evil, in my opinion they are neither. They are human beings who try to use other-worldly power. As a human it is the person they are that makes them good or evil. I think this could of been such an original version of good or evil with some nice glows or hazes around the avatar, some magic items. It really needs more to push it in one way or the other, right now it's just a cute witch.

Comments From Mercy: Every time I look at one of your avatars I always try to dissect what you are thinking. They all have a really personal touch to them from you, even your contest submissions, it makes them really original. I really find this avatar interesting, though I think you would of benefited from a little more white and a little less pastel. You pull the balancing act very well. My biggest complaint is it looks a little to much like a fairy, but otherwise succeeds pretty well in the good category.
