hey all! i was at a Harry Potter Festival today! i would have taken pics but it was raining most of the day. still had a good time. too many lines for things. we just did a lot of looking at stuff. =)

oh my... there was so much! it was like 12 blocks of people, tents, demos, food, the local stores got it on it, a lot of them had Harry Potter sounding names for their stores for the day. apparently there were quidditch games, but i didn't see any signs where they were. maybe cause it was raining. we did see a live owl and the guy was answering questions about owls. =)

well that sounds like a lot of fun. Did you buy anything???

For the younger daughter (who was with me) got a Harry Potter for President button, a long sleeve shirt with the Hogwarts crest on it, and some good-smelling soap at a fair trade store. I got a necklace with blue stones on it....like Ravenclaw blue. :)

And we got lunch. :)

It was fun. Yeah, I would have liked to take pics, but my phone and rain just don't mix...

Gosh yesterday was stressful T.T

Sorta. Serg got called into work today till closing, which I HATE when he does closing shifts because he doesn't get home till almost midnight sometimes. I told him I would prefer day shifts for him, but they don't want him in the am because "It's to slow for him that its not really needed" so they just do what they want. Besides, it's his fault for asking for weekends anyways
