What pisses me off most is when they add pre evolutions though. Wouldn't they know what it looked like when it was born already? xD

I was mad when they added some of the pre-evolves.. Pikachu, Clafari, Jigglypuff, Chansey, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan... originally they did NOT have their "baby" forms.. they were the baby form D;

I hate the preforms too, it doesn't make any sense. You'd think if they had so many damn trainers and scientists studying these pokemon, they'd know the first form already.

It'd be like raising chickens for years and then suddenly releasing the amazing new discovery of the egg. There isn't even anything good to the releasing of these pokemon. They aren't stronger, faster, tougher, better, or even unique. No one waits around excitedly for the newest generation of pokemon to come out so they can find out which worse versions of the previous generations they'll be able to collect.

I use GIMP as I'm on Linux.

Oooh...mm...I don't think Gimp has as much problems with it as Photoshop. Have you tried starting at 3-4 times the size of the actual item, doing your work there, and then shrinking it down?

Yes. It still looks joggy. :S

Maybe try playing with the image resize settings. Other than that, you can probably try to open it up in that online Photoshop program and try to shrink it down from there.
