Also I am so bad at keeping up conversation T_T Although I've been getting quite ill a lot of late...

Ophelia was mine for a little while after I became an adult. I was actually taking care of her for my parents. She didn't take well to becoming a farm cat after they got her from me, and the story ended tragically.

Sorry you haven't been feeling well Awen.

Rescue kitties are the best kind, Fulkth. =)

Little Miss Lucy entered our lives last April, by meowing her weird little meow while Mom was outside planting spring plants one Saturday. At first, Mom wasn't sure she was hearing a cat, so she did her kitty call that nobody else in our family can replicate, and out of the bushes came this dirty little puffball with big blue eyes. Dad took one look at her and went "Oh, no." because he was sure we wouldn't be getting rid of her (He was right. But she became his cat, funnily enough).

Mom and I gave her a bath, and she purred all day, even when she was sleeping. It turned out that the kids a couple houses down had brought her home, but their mom didn't want a cat, so they were keeping her in their shed, where she escaped and made her way to our house. She was super little, and we weren't sure how big she'd get. We got really lucky that she was healthy and had no fleas when we got her.

Now, she's eight pounds of 'tude and fur.

:p-confusion: Hi, I hope you don't mind if I post? I'm new here and trying to figure this whole pet thing out. I sure hope you don't mind if I post around and chat?

Den your avi makes me so jealous I was thinking I wanted to try to make Ursula to but you already got it down pat XD

Presto is our big guy and we named him Presto because he's the instant kitty. Open a door and poof - he's there. Clean the cat box and instant use. Pick him up and instant purr. He actually purrs all the time even when I'm trimming his claws or futzing with something else. No matter what we do, it's instant purring.

aw, that's adorable, Zen!

My only thing is that I wish the top of the shirt I have on was more of a sweetheart neckline... but oh, well. I spent awhile trying to find the right second skin...

Ursula was one of those memorable villains when I was growing up. As soon as I saw the tentacles, I knew I had to at least try to do an av based on her! :3

Whole heartedly agree!

Wow lots of post since I have posted last lol

There are so many nice avis here I love them all.

My cats don't instant purr on anything you have to earn it. D:

Den 04-20-2016 05:10 PM

It's rare for either cat to purr anymore... But we know they're both happy kitties, because they don't have to go outside for anything, they have plenty of food, they get lots of attention, and they have a servant to scoop their poops (mom does it. I refuse to, because the smell makes me very queasy)

*shudder* Don't remind me. Bad enough we've been having a problem with her and hairballs.

Our new automatic water fountain came yesterday for our cat. He loves it!
He was even testing out the water with his paws.
*insert paw in water* lick lick
*insert paw in water* lick lick. He did this several times. It was amusing to watch.

Now we don't have to worry about him becoming dehydrated. spoiled kitty is spoiled.
