I love eggs I eat a lot of them besides baking with them I love eating them in soups, stews, salads by themselves or with anything I just love eggs. XD
|
they are easy to love XD
|
Plus when cooking with them you can add food coloring. lol
I've made purple scrambled eggs before and they were yummy. XD |
hahaha, i suppose this is true too XD yummy blue egg salad?
|
I've done a lot of cooking eggs with food coloring, I'd have to try making a blue egg salad sandwich. lol
But nothing beats green eggs and ham. lol |
like the book? XD hahaha
|
I've made green eggs and ham before it takes a lot of green food coloring to make everything green. XD
It tastes good though. |
wouldn't you be able to taste the dye though?
|
I haven't had green eggs and ham in forever. lol. I first had it when my 5 year old cousin was begging her mom to make some for her. XD
I should make some for my husband just to creep him out. |
Most food dyes are tasteless they do stain skin and clothing though so you caution if cooking with it. lol

I use very little red dye in anything I tend to cook, but I have noticed that for whatever reason yes red dyes tend to taste bitter which is why I use very little of it.
|
Mom claims that she can't tell the difference, but I can, so I try to avoid eating stuff with red dye in it.
Means I don't get red velvet cake very often as a result... |
I love red velvet cake but strawberry short cake is my favorite.
I also found when making cakes, duck eggs seem to work better. |
The real way to make red velvet cake though has something to do with a chemical reaction with something in the chocolate used and another ingredient
If I remember right.... but processed ones add food dye to make it more dramatic. |
I don't really care for food dyes. Too many chemicals in them. I also can taste the chemicals.
I've often wondered how something sweet would turn out with beet juice. That really turns things red. ;-) |
