Lucid actually uses smudge. Everyone does their smoothing a little differently, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who uses it either.

I don't! x3 I only use 2 standard brushes. No smudging, burning or highlighting tools. I'm not comfortable with those.

Would it be ok to get your opinions on one piece for the port folio. It took a while and if it's lacking I was hoping for some pointers.

The major problem I'm seeing, is the light source direction ^^;

Trisphee's light source is from the top left shining down. Currently your shading doesn't match the base's shading
