Solia? Whas that?

27th Ave TubHead 07-23-2012 12:49 PM

Solia is an avatar community. Trisphee I think started from a bunch of people from Solia.

Lunaryon 07-23-2012 02:08 PM

Is it any good?

Angel Spirit Girl 07-23-2012 09:35 PM

It's pretty, but it seems rather cash focused like gaia.

Lunaryon 07-23-2012 09:37 PM

Hi! I made my own thread!

Angel Spirit Girl 07-23-2012 09:38 PM

Cool. I was checking it out.

femme gauche 08-31-2012 09:27 PM

Argh guys.
ARgh.
I can't stand waiting for something.
But I insist on waiting...
Not listening to any more leaked songs... just the singles.
Yes; I am talking about Green Day.

Angel Spirit Girl 08-31-2012 09:31 PM

Wow! You have been waiting for that album to come out for months, haven't you? They need to hurry up and give their fans their music fix already.

femme gauche 08-31-2012 09:35 PM

Haha we knew awhile back when the albums were going to come out XD. The first one is September 25. Second is... November... something-teen. Third one is in January. Can't be arsed to keep track of the date. It's a Tuesday, that's all I can say XD. Music always comes out on a Tuesday.

Angel Spirit Girl 08-31-2012 09:52 PM

LOLs! At least you know the release date, and it is not far off.

femme gauche 08-31-2012 09:57 PM

Yes, haha. Though I just found out the international release is four days sooner... >_>.
Oh wells. I'm already set on the 25th and that's when the pre-order comes through and all, soooo... I'm good.
Anything going on in your life? *Tries to not talk about Green Day forever*

Angel Spirit Girl 09-01-2012 09:19 PM

Not too much is new. The seasonal job I have at the cookie factory has been tiring.

On a happier note, I went out with my best friend today. We went shopping and had lunch at an oriental restaurant.

femme gauche 09-01-2012 09:21 PM

Aw, that's nice. I'm jealous. Me and my best friend have to plan months in advance to be able to hang out together... distance sucks. </3.

Lunaryon 09-01-2012 09:31 PM

Hello Femme! How are you today?

Angel Spirit Girl 09-01-2012 09:49 PM

Hello Femme and Lune.

I had not seen my friend for a few weeks since I work weekdays and she usually works weekends.

femme gauche 09-01-2012 10:30 PM

I have not seen my friend in person since over a year ago. And it was a year before that. And before that, we'd never seen each other in person >.< She lost one of her dogs a few days ago... he freaked out and attacked her and her dad, and they put him down... She believes they made the right choice, but misses him dearly.

@Luna: I'm pretty good... NOT, NOT, NOT looking forward to the next couple of days at work, however I have some Green Day-shaped rewards coming after my 'work week' (which ends Tuesday evening) to keep me through XD.

Angel Spirit Girl 09-02-2012 09:44 PM

I basically only get to see one of my brothers and his family once a year since they live a twelve or so hour drive away.

That is sad about your friend's dog. I wonder why the dog did that.

femme gauche 09-02-2012 09:49 PM

Yeah, they don't know why he did. She says he was always a bit high strung. It's just very sad all around.

Yeah bout the same distance for me. I see my sister about once a year too but I don't really care about seeing her... Not that I don't care about her, but... her life has nothing to do with mine, other than being related xP. I'd rather see my friend be closer.

Angel Spirit Girl 09-03-2012 10:29 PM

Yeah. Once someone moves a ways away from you, it is hard to see them much anymore.

femme gauche 09-03-2012 11:15 PM

Well she's also eleven years older than me and so we grew up a little differently, and doesn't have many of the same interests.

Angel Spirit Girl 09-04-2012 09:58 PM

Ah! My best friend is two months older than me.

Yes haha.

My best friend is four years older. But we have strong interests in common and while our personalities are different we share opinions on some stuff as well.

Angel Spirit Girl 09-29-2012 09:33 PM

My best friend and I are very different from each other.

femme gauche 10-12-2012 07:14 PM

I am honestly not one who could become close to someone who is terribly different from me. I don't mean race or background or anything like that, just in terms of the way we relate with the world.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-12-2012 09:25 PM

I haven't really met anyone like myself, either.

femme gauche 10-12-2012 10:14 PM

Neither have I, but I've found people who have similar sentiments to myself... Online.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-13-2012 10:20 PM

I end up being able to only partly get to know people on-line. It is hard sometimes to do that.

femme gauche 10-14-2012 11:22 PM

I didn't know it was possible to completely get to know anyone.

I've been spending a lot of time on the biggest Green Day fan site's fan forum.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-15-2012 08:58 PM

I guess it is hard to completely know someone else, but you can get to know them well. That is easier in person of course.

I guess you have been chatting about their upcoming songs that they will release.

femme gauche 10-15-2012 09:02 PM

Upcoming songs, promotions, uh... Issues that they're having, old albums, music videos... You have to understand, for Green Day fans, it is all in the present, stuff from 1990 is still worth as much new viewing and analysis as something from 2009 as something from 2012.

And for me... I don't really get to know people very well in person. I tend to close myself off, it's much easier for me to open up online.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-16-2012 09:05 PM

I'm sure there are Elvis fans who have lots to chat about in the same way, so it's not unusual.

Yes. It is odd how it can seem easier to chat over a problem with someone on-line than in person with people you know.

femme gauche 10-16-2012 09:07 PM

Haha, it's not just problems, it's just me in general. I have a hard time reading people in person... online, your words are right there, you state your thoughts. And you can choose from a field of people to talk with and respond to, whereas doing that in person is difficult and tends to read as rude.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-16-2012 09:49 PM

It is nice how you can skip over conversations (threads) that you are not interested in, or slip away from people who bother you, when you are on-line.

femme gauche 10-16-2012 09:50 PM

Exactly. I mean, yes, one does need to learn to navigate a real life conversation with real physically present people. But in the world in which I live, I find it extremely difficult to find many people with whom I have much in common... on any level... In person.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-17-2012 09:03 PM

I stand there at work all day in the cookie factory and have very little to say to the people around me it seems. It gets dull.

femme gauche 10-17-2012 10:57 PM

Yeah, definitely. If I am talking witha nyone at work, if there is some topic we actually start talking about either someone else says something really assholeish about something or someone, and I have to awkwardly sort of not respond at all, or I start talking people's ears off.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-18-2012 08:34 PM

Mostly, I want to be able to say something that is conversation and not babble.

femme gauche 10-18-2012 09:36 PM

I mostly babble, I just have to find other people who babble similarly. And I do, to some extent, but I have trouble taking it beyond that, to a new context, etc.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-19-2012 09:03 PM

I guess I should babble more, or make my own hangouts.

femme gauche 10-20-2012 02:39 PM

Yeah, you definitely should :P. I tend to keep to myself, though, since going out looking for other people is too often fruitless and depressing </3.
