"I like them big and bulky," Arata giggled. Then he stopped when he was grabbed, his eyes widened in shock and pointed to where Rie was pointing at. His smiled widened that much more, "There's one, right? We get her now, right?" Toshi was such an easy target. She was outside with no one else around her aside from the house, the wilderness, and the two insane hunters.

Grinned and nodded to what her bonded partner had said "yup yup, she's one..." she clapped her hands together exitedly nodding to what Arata said, she placed her hands together and began to chant her form giving off a blood red aura baring the entrance so toshi couldn't get back in and the only person to be able to get out would be nobuo/yuu

They worked perfectly together, the aura being his signal that it was his turn to make the move. Arata lifted his sword and dashed forward, making no effort to hide the fact that he was running straight for Toshi. Besides, getting her to scream would be like bait for the other one they were after. He raised his sword and aimed it downwards, between Toshi and the entrance so that Toshi would most likely distance herself from the house.

Toshi was completly unaware that she wasn't alone, why would she? she was safe in her home grounds or at least was suppose to be, that is the way it had always been. She was completly relaxed with her guard down it was easy to see that. Hearing a twig break she looked up from what she was doing her blood red eyes looking around the area only to see a dark shape coming towards her.

Dropping the bowl she ran towards the house but seeing the red aura she knew there was no way for her to get into the house and so ran away from it she was scared and didn't know what to do, all she knew was she was in trouble and needed help ~Yuu, help me... I'm scared... Someone is trying to kill me~ she thought hoping he could pick up thoughts, she was unsure if they had a bond like that but she was hoping they did

It was a good day indeed, for Arata and Rie. He allowed Toshi to run for a bit. After all, it's not fun when the prey is caught too quickly. After a little while, he bolted right after her with a crazed, hungered expression on his face, "I'm coming for you!" He chuckled maniacally as he raised his sword above his head to make him appear that much more frightening to Toshi.

Yuu and Nobuo raised their heads, both hearing a faint voice. Even though it wasn't completely audible, at least the voice was easily recognizable, and they knew she had no reason to use such a technique unless it meant trouble. Nobuo obviously jumped on it first, wanting to slash down whoever was causing the disturbance. However, Yuu grabbed his shoulder, "This..can't do it alone.." Yuu shuddered, but they would probably be more at a disadvantage being separated than being together. Nobuo felt it too, and merged back into Yuu's shadow, and Yuu couldn't get over the feeling of something disgusting being poured into him.

Yuu ran, to where his instincts guided him: outside. There, he could see a large, frightening figure chasing after Toshi. He was terrified just looking at the guy, "Toshi!" Though his feet were glued in place from the terror he was witnessing, "Have..to help.."

Toshi continued to run from the figure she was fightened, the run on her hand began to shine brightly as her other form tried to fight free to be able to break her but toshi's own magic kept the seal intact, looking to the light she tripped over a branch and skid a few inches "YUU... HELP ME PLEASE" she yelled out tears of blood fell from her eyes as she tried to back away from the figure towering above her

Instead of Nobuo popping out of Yuu's chest, Yuu was veiled underneath what would have been Nobuo. The tengu form was more orderly as Yuu accepted Nobuo's actions, both memories, feelings, and forms came together. It wasn't perfect, but as one entity working for one solitary thing, they were in unison. This new form had almost two new sets of arms, wings, and even eyes along the mask. Yuu didn't pay attention to how oddly his body felt at that time, but he sprung into the air, flying swiftly to the assailant and planted one set of hands into the attacker's face and the other grabbed a hold of the sword, separating the sword from its wielder and tossing the sword to the ground.

Arata grunted in surprise, though not terribly upset at what had just happened. After all, they were another step closer to their goal. But the elders told them nothing about the strange tengu monster that was flying before him. Arata licked his lips and grinned, "Those wings will make a good wall decoration!"

Rie smiled seeing them both out the house she finished the spell allowing them one hour to get their gifts for the elders out of the forest and back to where they where ment to be.

Seeing the tengu monster, she tilted her head for a moment "They didn't tell us about a deformed tengu did they?" she asked, though she was grining looking towards toshi and the glowing hand "She bound herself!" she almost fell over she was laughing so hard, regaining some sort of control she began to chant once more this time the aura she was giving off was black ~hold them for two minutes all i need~ she placed into her bonded mates mind

Arata snickered, and replied ~All too easy!~. While Yuu still had his hands on Arata's face and attempted to push the bulk to the ground, Arata easily wrapped his long fingers around both of Yuu's wrists to one of the arms and yanked him over and down to the ground. Yuu screamed from the pain caused by the impact. However, Arata didn't let go of Yuu, and instead whipped him around like a wet rag towards Toshi, "You two go well together..smashed! Haha!"

Rie smirked as she heard the reply knowing this would be easy as the cake they ate when they where really good. Toshi stood from her fallen positon hearing Yuu cry out like that was the last straw she couldn't take it anymore, but before she could stand up she fell a few more feet back as Yuu's form came crashing ontop of her she cried out in pain

The fun was all short-lived as Arata watched the couple lying on the ground in pain. He almost thought for a second that they could have pulled off something mysteriously fantastic, but wasn't completely disappointed by it since it meant that they would get their gifts that much sooner. And finally, Rie finished her spell engulfing all four in a strange aura, and suddenly they were found standing in a completely new setting, "Rie, you did a good job!" Arata walked over to her and patted her on the head.

brought her hand down the aura faded, and she grinned as she was patted on the back "Couldn't have done it without you Arata" she jamp forward and tackled him to the ground "You think they'll be happy... I hope you didn't crush them too badly... I want a good prize" she giggled like an innocent child that you wouldn;t have guessed that she just took part in a kidknap

Toshi stood helping Yuu to his feet taking in the surrounding area, she clenched his top "Where are we?" she asked, the glow in her hand still bright almost as if it was trying to fight off something. She then looked to the two fruitloops who where happy with themselves for doing this "Do you think they'd mind if one of you vanished?" her voice was cold as she spoke, her blood red eyes glowing crystal blue as she spoke

Arata snickered and laughed at Toshi, as though a worm had just threatened them. It was outrageously laughable to him, "Do you think you have what it takes to bring us down? There's only two of you, and there's..." He looked at himself and Rie, "Well..that's besides the point. We still overpower you!" He stood up like some macho bigshot, trying to intimidate Toshi.

Yuu groaned and rubbed one of his wings. It was completely unexpected. He figured that if they had become one being, that they would become stronger. Or perhaps the opponents in front of them had something that he and Toshi didn't. He whispered to Toshi, "Are you well enough to use your power? I can fly us away until you've recovered.."

"You are not very bright are you" she scorned, taking a step forward she showed she wasn't intimidated by him, her submissive self seemed to have disappeared "You only over powered us because we where not prepared... try it now and I can garentee at least one of you are going to die" her voice showed it was a promise and not a threat

Her eyes flicked back to Yuu for a second as he spoke and nodded "I'm strong enough so longs I don't do anything stupid" she smiled a little as her eyes turned blood red for a split second before turning their glowing crystal blue once more ~Nobuo, Yuu to be able to become stronger you need to accept each other, not just one of you accepting the other, you must both give up your wills~ it was toshi's voice but it was more like her voice when she was in her tengu form, the two voices speaking as one

It was easier said than done, when there was no clear distinction between Nobuo's mind and Yuu's in that state. However, they knew what Toshi said was true, and they both needed to accept the other rather than just one. Yuu stood there, trying to connect with Nobuo, or possibly the other way around. He wasn't too sure.

While Toshi and Yuu were having their little chit chat, Arata took the opportunity to sneak up on them and tried to swing his sword right at Toshi. He had forgotten that they had planned to take the two back whole, but he didn't like the idea of some weakling saying that one of them was going to die. He was going to slice one up and scar the other to shut them up.

Toshi was expecting the sneek attack and chuccked a little as the illusion was cut in two, she tapped the attackers shoulder from behind "Your magically innept, so you try and do things by sheer force and that will not work with me, nor Yuu" with that she brought her leg up just to be bounced back by purple energy

Back flipping and landing in a crouch she looked to where it had came from and seen Rie, the boy would be easy to take out but while she was around it made her life a little more difficult "My life mate might not tap into his energy, but it doesn;t mean he doesn;t have it" she giggled and nuzzled into Arata "Your my hero"

Toshi blinked seeing the two, ~you think they have multiple personalitys?~ her thoughts going to Yuu, but her eyes changed back to blood red, there was no way she could take them both out by herself they where far to powerful. Quickly she moved next to Yuu "Are you okay?" she sounded distraught

"I'm alright.." Yuu didn't quite get in touch with Nobuo yet, but he did notice something from the pair in front of him. He whispered to her, hoping that the two wouldn't overhear, "They look like the type to get easily distracted. Maybe we can use that.." Yuu's eyes widened, quickly grabbing a hold of Toshi's shoulders and yanking her to the side with him. The large sword had been thrown at them like some tomahawk and pierced the ground. It had only grazed Yuu's wing, but it was a close call. Any later and it probably would have ended up killing both of them.

Toshi smiled and nodded "your right... but I think we are in their villiage" she whispered looking at some of the other tengu, but as she was yanked to the side abruptly she let out a slight yelp as she was startled, but seeing the sword she understood why it was done, taking a bandage out of her obi she began to tend to Yuu's wing

Rie looked to her counter-part and stomped her foot "You forgot we are meant to be taking them back unopened!" she whined hitting his arm, just to see other Tengu "Oopsie a litte off target" she giggled and waved to them "We are here to see the elders... we have presents!" she exclaimed pointing to Yuu and Toshi, her unused hand going into her top and bringing out the seal the elders had given her "See we're expected" she giggled contently

"Listen to her and obey!" Arata crossed his arms and nodded. He felt all-powerful, above the other tengu of their tribe, even if he hadn't seen any of their faces before besides the elders. They should kiss their feet, he thought. His attention was completely redirected to getting the villagers to do what they wanted.

This was one of the worst scenarios, Yuu thought, being right in the middle of the enemy's village. They had their hands full with two of them, but he was scared thinking about how they can possibly handle the rest of them. Then, a memory pushed through, seeing how he had already taken out one village easily. He remembered he had something back then that he currently didn't have, and he just didn't remember how he even managed to have something like that to begin with. Nonetheless, he thanked Toshi for the help with the wound while he tried to figure out how to get both selves to accept each other.

A man with long raven hair, making his fair complexion even paler, he was wearong long flowing black robes with a purple sash to the left hand side, to his right was a black swords with amathest cloud wisps, he looked to the villiages "Continue with your tasks" he ordered

With that the villiagers moved on as if there was nothing happening his violet gaze turning to 'his children' "You where suppose to return without causing a ruckus" he scorned, Rie giggled happily "But we brough presents and we didn't break them" he jamp into the man's ares and nuzzled "We done good, we get presents right!" she was like a child hyped up on sugar and energy drinks

"That's right! Good presents? When do we get to open them?" Arata followed Rie and hugged both of them. Like one..giant...messed up family hug. Other than Rie, he liked him a lot. But he liked presents just as much.

Yuu didn't like the feel he was getting off of this new presence. Whatever was going on was obviously caused by this single man. He stepped out in front of Toshi, in case they decided to pull off anything dangerous towards them. Yuu growled, all four eyes glowing fiercely, "You..what do you want from us?"

the man shook his head "These are not presents... they are siblings of sorts" smiled kindly to the two who had done the task "You have done well both of you, now of you go to your room you'll find your rewards" he ruffled their hairs

"We where right not to open them!!!!" she sounded extatic at the fact they done the right thing not to open them, but being told they had rewards waiting she grabbed Arata's had and ran away with him "presents, presents, presents... WE LOVE YOU!!" was all that could be heard down the street she didn't really care about the new additions to the 'family' her mind was occupied with more fun sparkly things

Toshi looked to Yuu for a moment, before standing she made sure to be behind him as she thought he wanted and gripped his top, she was scared, she had no idea where they where or why, she knew it spelt out their doom though. Hearing the man say they where family she looked at Yuu "we are like them?" she asked in disbelif as the man walked towards them

The man looked at Yuu and smiled "The one that got away... welcome back" his voice was slightly condesending as he then looked to Toshi "And the one that shouldn't be... a half breed" he looked at her glowing hand and quirked an eyebrow "Which priestess sealed you?" he asked his showing he was annoyed about this, toshi just clung closer to Yuu shaking

Yuu knew Toshi wasn't 'that' accepting of her tengu part yet, and he didn't want Toshi to end up running away over anything that was said like she did last time. He quickly pulled out his sword, pointing it at the man and at the same time one of his arms wrapped around Toshi, forcing her into his chest with one ear flat against it and her other ear covered by a hand.

Yuu was scared as well. The more he looked at the individual in front of him, the more he felt that he had seen him from somewhere before, and his words did hint that they had at least met previously. "Leave her out of this.." it dawned on Yuu after he put the pieces together: they wouldn't go through all the trouble of bringing a 'marked' back or because they weren't living in any villages, but instead they wanted them for what they actually were, "Are you the one responsible for the experiments?"

Allowed herself to be moved around into Yuu's arms, placing her head on his chest she listened to the beat of his hear,and blushed as his other hand came around her head as to protect her from the outside

The man noticed the sword that Yuu now carried and smirked slightly knowing that family all to well "Ahh, I see" he walked forward "She choose her mate well, just as it seems you have also" his eyes glinted showing he was pleased with the out come "One of them yes" with that he walked away knowing the boy would follow if he wanted any more answers

More than anything, he was worried about how the villagers would treat them if the elder's presence was no longer there. He slid his hand away from Toshi's ear and whispered, "I think it's best to follow him until we can find a good time to escape.." With all the tengu roaming about, it would have been difficult without getting someone's attention at least. On the other hand, he was surprised by how extremely well the villagers were doing their daily activities despite his blatant deformities, but that was probably due to the level of respect or fear they had in the elder whom they were talking to. Yuu grabbed onto Toshi's hand, being careful not to hurt her with his claws, and gently tugged on it as he walked after the man.

Toshi watched as the man walked off, feeling yuu taking away his hand from her ear she looked to him with a confused expression "Yuu?" her voice mirroring her eyes in confusion, but nodded to what he said taking his hand in her own she walked with him looking at the tengu around them, then to her family's blade that glowed a deep blood red "They don't like being here" she whispered

Stopping she sniffed at the air walking over to a food store and pointed at the fruit "Yuu what is that?" she asked, she wanted to pick it up but she really didn't want to get into trouble by anyone, especially here

Yuu couldn't help but see that this was Toshi's first time in a tengu village. Of course there were probably different things that were not available to human societies. He looked around, and back again, making sure that none of the tengu looked like they wanted to jump them, "That is a jade fruit." The fruit were seen from his own village as well, but they were as common as apples were and generally not a lot of people had a demand for them. He placed the sword back into its sheath, knowing that it would probably stir up even more hostilities if they tried to approach someone with the sword out in the open, "If you want the fruit, you can barter."

"Jade fruit" she said right after himas she picked one up she felt it and put it down until she felt one that seemed to be ripe in her opinion "Are there any fruits from where you came from Yuu?" she would ask she wanted to try everything after all she had never seen this stuff before and would likely be living off it for a while "Yuu, Kaito said my color was unique, what did he mean" it just dawned on her as she looked to all the Tengu with their own colors

Yuu felt like he was drawing too much attention from being so awkward and decided to take his human shape, much better to fitting in but also more vulnerable. He looked over his shoulder so he can see just how far the man had gotten, and then looked back, "Yes, there were fruits. I wasn't allowed to touch them though..so I can't tell you what it tastes like." He was hoping that Toshi wouldn't bring up anything about her tengu self, but now it looked like she was curious about it and more willing to accept the fact that she was, although Yuu wasn't entirely sure if that was indeed the case, "It's..it's rare for a..well it's rare to see a person who is dressed in so much white. Seeing a little white is uncommon..I think."

Toshi picked up on of every sort of fruit, but she bit her lip unsure how they barter so looked at Yuu confused "How do Tengu barter?" she asked she could feel the eyes of the shopkeeper on her, she hid behind Yuu almost dropping the fruit "Young lord, is your friend playing innocent or is..." he paused for a moment not even wanting to ask "is she an outsider?" his words where calm and respectful as he spoke toshi looked out from behind Yuu "I'm human" she whispered, not to sure if it was okay to say it here

Now they were in a bit of a pinch. There were several species he knew were welcomed within his home village, but none of them human. He was certain it would be the same with this village, and his habitual urge to run from a dangerous situation started to creep up. However, Toshi was right behind him and he gulped. "Well, you see..that guy down the road there," he pointed to the elder, "We're actually traveling with that guy. He's the one who had us brought here." Yuu thought they could get clear with that explanation, "And my friend is just new to these sorts of things, so she's exploring. No harm done." He wished he had more items with him, otherwise he could have just chucked one at the guy to get one of the fruit to Toshi, but all he had on himself were the sword and his clothes.

The man nodded and smiled "Yes Elder Kyruo is a great man" he his voice was of course humbled as he spoke andout the elder down the street, though he blinked at hearing how Toshi was new to these sort of things, he just put it down to over protective parents.

Toshi went into her obi and pulled out a few flawless gems and beads and held the up to Yuu "Are these any good to use to barter? I have lots of them but I have never went shopping only Ai sa..." she paused mid sentance unsure if there where Tengu in tha area where she lived in the world "Only my brother does" she smiled contently up to Yuu

It was strange for Yuu, now that he knew that Ai was 'his' biological brother and not Toshi's, and yet Toshi was referring to Ai as her brother. He wondered if Toshi was aware that she wasn't related to Ai. He bent down a little to take a closer look at the items that Toshi had just brought out, and couldn't help but want to take them for himself. He was in awe of how perfect they were, "I think the shopkeeper will be extremely pleased to make a trade with those."

Toshi held out the hand full of sparkly beads and gems, a few tengu now swooping around her and Yuu to get a better look at them "Would you take these for the fruit?" her voice was low as she did, the shop keeper's eyes lit up seeing the sparkly things being offered to him for the fruit and nodded "Yes I think the trade can be made" he cawed a few times and it made toshi giggle a little as she handed the items over.

going into her obi once more she brought out another hanfdul and gave them to Yuu "Just in case you see something" she smiled just to now realize that she had somehow attracted a group of tengu and clenched onto Yuu's top once more dropping a few peices of her fruit

Yuu was worried about the other tengu who might want to steal from them or try to get them to barter at their shops, and quickly clenched his hand, hiding the shinies within ((x'D)). He picked up the fruit from the ground and was glad that they had a tough skin, and then tried to push his way through the crowd while trying to keep Toshi close to himself. At least he was glad that Toshi got what she wanted and he got a little something as well, but he hoped that Toshi wouldn't be so attached to the village that she'd want to stay. He didn't think that the elder had any good intentions in bringing them there after all.

The elder had been patient enough to wait for Toshi to do a bit of looking around, she had her herritage hidden for so long it is only natural she would be curious about fruits and such. smiling he looked down knowing that the leash would be tightened for the two as soon as they met the other five elders, though because of how they where not brought up with the elders he was unsure how there abilitys had grown, but there would be time enough to learn in his opinion

Toshi looked down to the fruit that dropped on the floor and her eyes saddened "Sorry" she whispered to Yuu as he bent down to get them, taking Yuu's hand she followed him through the crowed of tengu almost losing grip on his hand a few times, but managed to keep hold but noticed as they walked a lot of tengu tried to get them to come to their stores, but just followed happily

The elder gave a warm smile as he seen the two approach "Enjoy shopping?" he say pointing to the fruit, his eyes then went to the tengu following them and with one hard glare they disbanded "Sorry about them, they don't normally see things that flawless" with that be began to walk up the steps of the temple where he heared the ever hyper twins

At that moment, he was very grateful that so long as the elder was there, there was no danger from swords being thrown at their heads...or at least so long as they cooperated. And, he might be able to learn what this whole thing was about. His grip on Toshi's hand tightened as they drew closer and closer to the temple, not knowing what to expect from within.

Toshi's eyes went to her familys blade as the aura changed, she could feel the aura's individually with every step they took towards the temple, so brought yuu back down the steps "they don't want to go... I have a bad feeling, we shouldn't go" her voice sounded scared as she spoke "We need to leave now" she didn't know why but she knew this would turn out terribly if they went inside more to do with the fact the energys in the sowrd fet diffrent to her.

The elder stopped and looked back to the two and then to the sword on Yuu's side "They must come... now enough of the foolishness!" his words where stern at the sword but he spoke in a method that only the spirits within would be able to hear, his eyes went to Yuu and Toshi "Is there a problem?"

If Yuu would have heard the elder yell at the spirits, he would have taken flight right then and there. If they couldn't go inside, then at least the elder could answer the questions without having to set foot inside the temple. He looked to Toshi, and then to the elder, "I don't think we need to go inside. It's well enough that we're in front of each other, and you can start answering questions here." They were far enough away from the villagers where it shouldn't have been a problem for him to speak about any secrets. But it was apparent that Toshi and Yuu were wary of the dangers ahead.

The elder looks to the two children and rolled his eyes until in the temple he was playing by their rules it seemed. moving to sit on a step he looked at them, he could tell they where wary and they had every right to be considering what had happened "I will answer three questions then we will go into the temple... agreed?" his voice showed this was retorical question
