That day just seemed really unlucky for you!

hyjin 06-17-2012 01:16 AM

oh yeah big time

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:22 AM

Did it get any better?

hyjin 06-17-2012 01:26 AM

yes my current charger was cheaper than buying a new hp charger...

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:27 AM

Well at least something good came out of it!

hyjin 06-17-2012 01:29 AM

yep... hopefully it will fit on a new laptop bc it has interchanging tips

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:30 AM

I wish mine did. That is a really good perk about that charger.

hyjin 06-17-2012 01:32 AM

yep it is... and i can charge my phone, camera, or ipod on it too

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:38 AM

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:41 AM

hyjin 06-17-2012 01:45 AM

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:47 AM

I just looked it up. The products look really nice!

And your charger still works well for how long have you had it?

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 01:48 AM

He also got cookies...

By the way, LOVELY tattoos!!!

I've got two and they're both Harry Potter Book references...

hyjin 06-17-2012 01:50 AM

hmm my old once shorted out in between January and February so only for a few months... i have a 2 year warranty from the company since i registered it

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:58 AM

Hyjin, well You dont' seem to complain about it so I assume it's good. I was just wondering about how long they will last. We can hope this is nothing like your exploding last one.

Kali, oh really? What are they ^.^
I like HP.

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 02:01 AM

I've got the stars from the corners of the pages on my foot, and the number 62442 on my wrist...

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 02:07 AM

That's cool :)

I went to the movies not too long ago and there was this car there that had the Deathly Hallows symbol on it. So we went to go get tickets and the guy there had the Death Eaters symbol on his arm ^.^

Random, but this OTHER car there had the Cobra symbol from GI Joe on it. xD

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 02:09 AM

Lols...the best part about my tattoos is that I can totally tell a big HP fan, because they'll know the number or recognize the stars! It's great!

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 02:16 AM

I havn't read all of the books. I've only read Order of the Pheonix and The Deathly Hallows, sadly. Sooner or later I will probably read all of them though ^.^

Who's your favorite character(s)?

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 02:38 AM

Snape...his character is so flawed, but so deep...After the last book came out, I re-read some of the books to look at it more as the story of Snape instead of Harry...Sure Harry is the 'main character', but Snape is the most developed and the deepest character in the series...if not for Snape...there would be no Harry...

The reason I love him is because at first I HATED him...he's the 'evil' teacher who tortures Harry the entire time, you never believe he's trying to save Harry...

Then, in the third book, you find out that James Potter bullied him so you start to feel a little bit bad for him, but it still didn't make up for him taking it out on Harry...

But then in the last book you find out that it was all for the love of Lily that he did what he did. That James had stolen his one true love. And the fact that the last thing Snape said to Harry was (in the movie) "Look at me... you have your mother's eyes." (In the book) "Take it, Take it"...The last thing Snape saw were they eyes of the woman he had loved his entire life, his patronus was a doe to symbolize her. His hatred of Harry stemmed entirely from him hating himself for helping kill the one thing in life he ever truly loved, and every time he looked at Harry he only saw Lily's Eyes...

I LOVE character development...

Sorry for the text block...

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 02:45 AM

I don't mind text block at all :D

I also love character development which is why I like a lot of of games and shows more than others. I was SSOOO sad when you find out about all of his love for lily and the patronus charm. Then Dumbledore asked about love, and he said always. I am so sappy!

Well when I read it anyway. It didn't affect me as much on the movie because it wasn't near as moving and I already knew what happened xD

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 02:55 AM

I cried like a baby while reading...and during the movie the first time.

Literally I started crying from the beginning of the battle to the end of the book and movie...

My favorite line though has to be when Harry is talking to Albus Severus and he says..."Albus Severus Potter, you were named after two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was the bravest man I ever knew."

whitexsuicide 06-17-2012 02:58 AM

OH i liked snape for the same reason though i have never read any of the books, but it was all just so good!

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 03:01 AM

I am so glad I'm not the only one who cried! I felt like a baby xD

White, they are pretty good. Like most books turned movies, the books are better and have much more information.

whitexsuicide 06-17-2012 03:08 AM

yea i know... i have the first four,... i just have to man up and get the reading out of the way.

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 03:09 AM

I have quite a few books that I still have to read that I own xD

whitexsuicide 06-17-2012 03:10 AM

same.. it is what most of the little library i have is made up of!

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 03:11 AM

OH Snape is SUCH a better character in the books!...Alan Rickman did AMAZINGLY in the movies and the fact that JK told him that he was in love with Lily before ANYONE else made his acting all the better!

But still the character of Snape is so deep that if you try to read the books as the story of Snape you really can easily...

whitexsuicide 06-17-2012 03:15 AM

I bet! it was soo strong in the movies! it was a nice thing, just like how Harry and Hermine never did anything... they were such good friends!!!!!

sorry if i spelt something wrong

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 03:18 AM

They saw each other as Brother and Sister, it was never anymore for either of them. (Plus, between you and me, they both had a thing for head-heads anyways)

whitexsuicide 06-17-2012 03:22 AM

hhahah that is so true!

and i loved it though, even in normal books these days, one of them likes the other, and that relationship goes down the drain, like i totally thought in that one scene they were going to have sex and she was going to betray Ron and then they just danced! it was SOOO much better then a sex scene!

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 03:43 AM

I loved the last book...so many twists and turns...and the character development was BRILLIANT!!!

hyjin 06-17-2012 09:07 AM

Booooks
*throws a book across the room*

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 01:53 PM

Hyjin, you always do that xD

Kali, agreed.

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 03:36 PM

No throwing books Hunny!

I was just reminded that I needed to finish reading the series again...lols

I may end up posting pictures of my tattoos...not sure yet...

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 03:46 PM

I wouldn't mind :)

The main thing I need to read is re-read Divergent so I can catch up some before reading Insurgent. I got it when it came out but havn't read it yet.

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 03:50 PM

I've gotta read too much for my class...I haven't had time to finish the seriesnnn

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 03:53 PM

What class is that?

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 04:08 PM

Im taking a North Carolina history class...
