XD

I never converted... I'm not sure if I can even use that world seeings how I've never laid claim to any religion.

But anyways. I found out that nuns don't like it when you ask "why" to much o .o

Lioshika 08-20-2011 12:36 AM

XD Oh so true. I tend to blend more a few different things because it's what I believe makes sense to me.

Nuns are mean! We have some that come in for some office supplies. They're damn right rude!

Trakadon 08-20-2011 12:38 AM

If I had to believe in a god I'd go with ancient Greek or the Norse gods = u= b

Serra Britt 08-20-2011 12:38 AM

I went to a Christian college but they encouraged us to ask why. I felt a lot of respect there.

Lioshika 08-20-2011 12:41 AM

Greeks were good.

Serra; I refused. I always shunned.

Serra Britt 08-20-2011 12:43 AM

That's certainly your choice :3 I don't think religion should be forced on ANYONE.

Trakadon 08-20-2011 12:46 AM

@Serra~ Ah we don't mean any offense of course. Just our own personal experiences~

Although... I would like to punch one of my friends in the face if he tells me the grand canyon was made in one day from the 'great flood of Noah's arc'

> .<

Lioshika 08-20-2011 12:46 AM

._. I know. I was glad to get out of high school.

Trak; Are you serious? It is clearly evident that it was made from years of a river eroding away the rock. -__-

Trakadon 08-20-2011 12:52 AM

@Lio~ Yeah. Our friendship is on a slippery slope because of it too. I can't say he is at fault totally because I did tell him he was being ignorant for believing that. Which I still regret telling him that but every time I see him I forget that regret and I just get pissed at him... Theres more to this then just Noah's arc but I don't wanna get into that

Lioshika 08-20-2011 12:54 AM

I'm sorry. I know the feeling; believe me.

Lunaryon 08-20-2011 12:54 AM

The grand canyon? In one day? *ROFLS* Oh Goddess I haven't heard something that funny in a long time. There is no way that something of that size could be made in one day. The speed the water would have to be traveling at would be astronomical. And if you could get water to flow at that speed, it would evaporate from the friction against whatever surface it was flowing over. Not to mention to mountain of rubble that you would find at the end of the grand canyon.

Wow. I guess having a Geologist as a parent can actually pay off.

I can't figure a way to say this without trying to sound like I'm trying to convert you guys... URRRRGH

Lioshika 08-20-2011 12:58 AM

Say what?
I honestly can't believe something so silly as that about the Canyon.

Serra Britt 08-20-2011 12:59 AM

@Trakadon, I'm not offended :3 I'm a very lazy Christian. Also, while arguments based off religion are common, I can't accept a "because God said so" answer ever >.>;

@Luna, You're trying to convert us to Geology?

Trakadon 08-20-2011 01:01 AM

My dad is a Geologist o .o

Lunaryon 08-20-2011 01:02 AM

No no. I'm wiccan, and one of the major things about wicca is the fact that we don't believe in any one Deity or Pantheon, but call upon the ones that are closest to us. I personally call upon the norse gods because of my Heritage. I'm trying not to make it sound like I think my religion is better then Christianity...

Lioshika 08-20-2011 01:04 AM

Trak; Nice. ^_^
I miss Earth science class.
