split chicken stuffed with oregano(picked today) baked with green-beans and cherry tomatoes. my mil volunteered to cut the beans so we are having this instead of pasta XD it works either way, we are moving so i dont have time to safely dry the oregano

possibly never? donald trump's vice president guy is super homophobic and has eyes to make gay marriage illegal so it want from 'when we have the money' to 'if we are sure it wont get retracted'. my mil is super worried about her sister and her wife, they have been together forever and quite literally built their house from scratch together, it would be devastating if their marriage is invalidated

I worked way to much the past week D:

Yes and no?
I'm supposed to go on a business conference/expo trip to vegas tomorrow till friday so I earned everything just so I can have something to go with, but I've already spent almost 500 on leftover rent, bills and household products.
Thankfully most of the expenses are covered by the boss (flying and accommodation wise)
But since I was working so much I was too tired to get online or try working on my novel T.T I'm only at 700 some odd words out of 50k

well, aside from food costs what do you need to cover on your trip?

If it's a business trip, it should really be paid for by the business. :P

I agree with that but having worked for a a greedy guy he would have expected us to get there ourselves as well, but maybe would have paid for food and stuff. Not that we ever really went anywhere.

also if I want to play the penny slots I need at least $100 for myself, because I'm pretty sure gambling doesn't count as expenses.

why would you gamble? statistically you will lose and lose quite badly XD it's a massive waste of money not unlike throwing money out of a window and hoping some will be thrown back in

I haven't played blackjack before.
I don't mind gambling, I usually spend about $20 a year when I go get my free meal from the big casino in the county XD They give you a free meal for your birthday that can be used anytime in a year period.
I usually stop when I've doubled or gotten down to $5.

I also heard they have nice all you can eat buffets in vegas =O

when i was in college, we went to a concert at a casino in Atlantic City. at some point in the day, we did some gambling at the quarter slots. i don't remember how much i spent or how much i really got, but i ended up with a bucket of quarters and was able to do my laundry for quite a while after that just with the quarters in the bucket.

in other news, i have a new record of words written in a day - i wrote 4,360 words, to end today at 40,040 words! i just hope i don't run out of story before i run out of words.....

I had an issue with slots until my grandma broke it down as it is entertainment money. You spend money going to the movies as well and you don't get anything physical for that, it is the experience. And now I have fun playin them so long as I set a budget and things :3

Gambling, whatever the form, is entertainment. Buying a $1 scratch-off? You're paying for that thrill of "what if?", not for the chance to win. That chance is just a bonus. :)

Spar what is the worst part the seeing or the not seeing? Cause if it is the not seeing oddly enough a window doesn't help that. Try to be near the galley and ask the FAs if the pilot told them of any expected turbulence. But as long as they are walking the cabin and joking you are good.

at least it isn't a 13 hour flight ! I've been on 4 of those now and lemme tell ya . . . you get some leg cramps. You also really wish the seats were more comfortable so you could take a decent nap.
