thats always fun

Airina 09-09-2011 02:45 PM

Awwww that sucks!!!!!

Lioshika 09-09-2011 02:47 PM

Well Apple said they'll send me a new one, put a hold on my credit card, and when they get it check and see what's wrong. If they find no water/physical damage, I get all my money back. If they find some of that, I get charged 214. But I told them there is no way it could have water damage. I've been extremely good to my phone, and it was working yesterday. So I dont' know why now it's not.

Airina 09-09-2011 02:48 PM

Awwww that sucks!!!!

Lioshika 09-09-2011 02:50 PM

Yeah. I let my mom know and she said too that there should be no damage. I had a case for that phone the day I bought it. Before actually.

I'm a nut when it comes to things like that.

Airina 09-09-2011 02:51 PM

I know what you mean I have the same thing with my ipod.

Renata 09-09-2011 03:01 PM

woot hardware troubles

Airina 09-09-2011 03:04 PM

*yawns and curls up on the teddy*

Lioshika 09-09-2011 03:09 PM

I am careful with all my electronics. Like massively nutty.

The one time we bought a protection plan. Good thing we did.

Airina 09-09-2011 03:15 PM

I wish i had bought applecare for my computer....

Lioshika 09-09-2011 03:24 PM

You have a Mac? How do you like it? What happened? would you buy it again or go with another PC?

sorry for the questions. While I've been pleased with my phone I sometimes feel Apple computers are over rated and for the price wonder if I need it or when the time comes to buy another PC

Airina 09-09-2011 04:17 PM

It truly depends on what you use your computer for. For me i'm more artistic, (like i have tooooons of pictures and music on my computer) before my mac (which i have had for almost 3 years) I killed 3 pc laptops because of my music.... that wasn't even with my pictures on it. So if you have more artsy stuff then I'd say go with the mac. Plus the normal warranty is good. It lasts for a year and if anything happens to it within the first year of owning it then they will replace it. Which is really nice. Apple has a really good warranty. And also the mac stores are really good at doing repairs. My computer died and they got it all back up and working in 2 days when they said it would take at most a week. My roommate's pc died and they said it would take 4 days, it took them 3 weeks to fix....

nyreen 09-09-2011 04:18 PM

Good evening everyone!~

Airina 09-09-2011 04:35 PM

Hi nierra how are you?

Lioshika 09-09-2011 04:39 PM

Apple store closest to me is an hour away so for me not always good. I have a lot of music on my PC and pictures. I've never had a problem with mine really. But that's good to know.

nyreen 09-09-2011 04:39 PM

I'm good.
Trying to get to 20k!
17k / 20k so far. o wo
You?

Airina 09-09-2011 04:47 PM

Yea well I have like a lot a lot a lot of music, and its nice because macs have nicer music writing applications and stuff while pcs are trying to catch up but failing.... idk. right now the closest to me is 30 minutes but if you have a simply mac store they just deal with mac computers not everything else.

Lioshika 09-09-2011 05:04 PM

I've thought of it. I'm unsure. But maybe eventually.

Airina 09-09-2011 05:06 PM

sometimes i wish that i had a pc so that i could play more games.... but oh well.

Lunaryon 09-09-2011 05:53 PM

You can get Starcraft 2. I just got it and it's rather fun!

Airina 09-09-2011 05:54 PM

I might later i dont know....

Lunaryon 09-09-2011 05:59 PM

And their are other games.... Like... Uhh... I'll think of something! Oh! You could get Parallels, which puts a pc on your mac.

Airina 09-09-2011 06:00 PM

but i like the mac system....

Lunaryon 09-09-2011 06:04 PM

You still have the mac. It's like an application. It opens up a window, and Windows is running in the window.

Airina 09-09-2011 06:05 PM

oh interesting.... hmmmm

Lunaryon 09-09-2011 06:13 PM

Yeah. My mom bought it beacuse one of the programs she uses for her Phd only works on pc.

Airina 09-09-2011 06:21 PM

Ahhhh i see! that makes sense!

Serra Britt 09-09-2011 08:36 PM

Now I REALLY want Starcraft 2 >.> Well, first things first for what I spend money on anyways.

I saw parallel work on a Youtube video, seems kind of interesting.

Lioshika 09-09-2011 10:00 PM

I heard though putting the PC on the mac splits the core drive.

Serra Britt 09-09-2011 10:28 PM

Using Parallel it's sort of a windows emulator. Splitting the drive with a partition would mean you either load it as Mac-OS, or Windows, not both.

Lunaryon 09-10-2011 01:29 AM

*all this goes over my barely computer savey head*

Serra Britt 09-10-2011 08:45 AM

My dad works with computers so I picked up a lot from him. Don't feel bad :3

-pets my Luna's head-

Lunaryon 09-10-2011 11:04 AM

*purrs lightly* I use computers alot, and know a lot about them, but this sounds like all hardware stuff...

Serra Britt 09-10-2011 11:08 AM

-continues petting-

Partitioning a hard drive is technically software stuff but it's not done very often :3

Lunaryon 09-10-2011 11:11 AM

Oh... Yeah. I can get into anywhere on a computer, and cause more damage then a high-tech virus if I can get my hands on a computer and have just like an hour. The'll be nothing left but a plastic shell.

Serra Britt 09-10-2011 11:15 AM

Oh wow. I'm not sure I could do that currently. But I used to know exactly how to prevent a computer from even starting up. Not an entirely useful ability xD

Lunaryon 09-10-2011 11:18 AM

My siblings were not the most safe when it came to online dealings, and so I ended up cleaning out hundreds of viruses.\

Serra Britt 09-10-2011 11:25 AM

><

I had to clean a virus from my ex's computer once. Took me all day because I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking for. It just blocked everything from running except itself...eventually I found the file and killed it but I had to make a whole new profile to erase all the registry changes it had made -.-;

Lunaryon 09-10-2011 11:29 AM

Yeah. That's how it was for me at, first... But after doing that a good hundred times, I just sorta figured it out easily.

Serra Britt 09-10-2011 11:37 AM

Most of the common viruses work the same way. It's only the really well written ones that are hard to remove.
