My lovelies! I must walk my children! But I'll be back as soon as possible. <3

//noms
Yep you do |
That's good to hear. owo
Also: How is it that I almost always tend to get the last post on a page? =w= *is not a big fan of almost always refreshing to see new posts only to find that mine was the last on the page* =w= |
Maybe just a stroke of bad luck?
*collapses* Ugh, I'm glad the paper is finished. I just have to print it out tomorrow when I get on campus. |

I've never seen runes in Ireland, or in much to do with Celtic history really. It's mostly Ogham script, which doesn't really seem the same to me. (A celtic store nearby sells pretty framed phrases or words in ogham script with translations but they're more than I want to pay.) Runes were a staple in Nordic country tourism it seemed. That and trolls. Altough it's not hard to imagine the norse and Celts interacting in their history, and there's evidence of it in the similar folk music, some instruments, and artistic design. There's actually a Norwegian stone casket in the Rock of Cashel in Ireland that dates back to BC somewhere. It's neat. :) |
@Reyo: Let's hope so, I don't wish to always have the last post. I'd much rather have the first post. ;3
What's your paper for? And what was it on? owo @Quiet: No worries, we all make mistakes. :3 Though what's with the history on runes? owo |
Kiddiss mentioned Runes and Ireland together. I was curious. May have mis-read though.
|
It was my Cultural Studies paper on Otaku.
|
Sounds like fun, cultures are pretty fun to learn about! >w<
What was your favourite thing that you learned while writing your paper? :0 |
I learned that the first Maid Cafe was founded by Japan's first professional, mass-market cosplay tailor/retailer.

owo
That's actually pretty interesting. And quite unexpected by me. owo *noms on Reyo's panda* owo |

@Reyoki: o.o I think I learned that watching an anime about a Maid Café O_o
|
There's an anime about a maid cafe? owo
|
Well, not so much about a maid café, but more of: it takes place in one and stuff happens in it. And Yet the Town Moves
Edit: there are plenty of anime/manga out there that have something to do with a character working in a Maid Café ^^" |
Serena is correct, maid cafes are prevalent in anime. *nod nod*
