My favorite band is Nightwish. Though I listen to other things (not in that genre). I really like And One and some J-Rock, and K-Rock/pop.

I can't stand most of it either, but there are some select songs that I enjoy. and things that live on the border of hip-hop and techno are tolerable.

I greatly enjoy techno. that's why I can listen to techno-ish hip hop. it's close enough to a genre I do like. I usually treat music on a case-by-case basis instead of outright eliminating a genre from my collection.
