I just put the turkey in the oven! My hands now smell of garlic. We're aiming to eat at 3 i think which is in 3 hours, since w're all in different time zones.

My little brother called and asked if I was coming over which was very sweet, he never ever calls me. It is usually like pulling teeth trying to get him to talk to me so now I want to go over. I called my dad to ask if it was alright and he sounded upset and hung up quick but I guess it is ok o-o

I'm probably(?) leaving home at 5, which is in around 3 hours. Then stay at my parent's friends place for a good long time and return home at night.

I'm pretty sure it would have been a lot of fun although my grandpa is a pretty harsh grader.
I remember one time somebody had turned in an essay in reallyyyyyy small print and so he gave them an F because it was too tiny for him to read it. o3o

Oh geez, poor kid. That's a tough way to teach people not to mess with the font x_x. But I wonder why they did that? For a page limit :o? Usually people turn in papers with larger print.

Once I fudged the margins so they were a little bigger to fit the page limit. I got scolded for it, but didn't lose any points, thankfully.

oh it was written in pencil like it was an inclass essay thing.

my family day is today.
Well.
My brother likes to call it my "friendsgiving" because it barely features any blood family. but as I see it, my friends are my family and have been there for me more then my family has and they deserve to be recognized too.
I made it a potluck thanksgiving too =D
Now to just hope people ACTUALLY show with food in hand and not just sodas and chips XD

It usually is, and tends to carry MUCH less drama then family affairs.
I went to my brothers for breakfast thursday morning, and he was throwing a fit because he wanted breakfast not brunch and we arrived at 10:20 instead of 10 exactly.
He even proceeded to serve himself up while the rest of us waited for food to finish reheating, and sat down and ate by himself because he thought it would teach everyone else a lesson.
The rest of us all waited and sat down together and were chit chatting it up so he ended up getting a biscuit with some gravy to come sit with all of us in the end >.>
-shakes fist angrily at brother- So rude sometimes.

My food fest was quite pleasant. :) My parents like to have the big meals at lunch time, so we ate food at noon it was good and tasty.

No drama at all, always a plus. Of course, it was just my parents, me, and my grandmother.

I like both big food events and small ones.
Big ones are busy and a nice change of pace, while with small ones theres more food to person ratio XD

My mom loaded up a rather large bag full of leftovers for me to take home, haha. It worked out well.

I just finished chopping 13 lbs of potatoes for mashed taters XD

At the same time the people who do show tend to bring one or more people in tow so it does still add up D:
The most we had inside our house (for my parents Studebaker club xmas meeting) was 78 people.
SUPER INTENSE. and crowded.

Good lord. :O I've never had so many people in my house...or in any of my relatives' houses. haha.
