Demonskid 11-21-2014 08:27 AM

Yea.

I even seem to have gotten one interested in watching an anime. *u* fufufufufu

I SHALL TURN ALL MY NEIGHBORS INTO OTAKU!

ml1201 11-21-2014 10:46 AM

Otaku shall RULE THE WORLD! >:D

Demonskid 11-21-2014 01:50 PM

They loved Cowboy Bebop so far xD I started them with one of my Favorites from the old days

I want to go to the mall and get my games =(

ml1201 11-21-2014 04:52 PM

lol, I never got to see much of that show personally, but what I've seen of it I really liked. X3 And let me guess, no ride right?

Demonskid 11-22-2014 11:31 PM

ML should come to Ohio, we can watch it <3

I got a ride today. But of course I lost out on the preorder bonus. =/

ml1201 11-22-2014 11:42 PM

Aw, that sucks. :/ I've only done one game ever as a preorder and that was dream drop distance. x'D

Demonskid 11-23-2014 12:11 AM

I have to preorder cause i can pay it off little by little. helps when you don't have much to begin with.

Witchchylde 11-23-2014 12:51 PM

We just founf out we can get NiGHTS Into Dreams on the PS3 for about ten bucks off the PS Store. We just need to find a way to get ten dollars onto my daughter's account. We always wished we could have had a Dreamcast. This will be the next best thing, I suppose.

ml1201 11-23-2014 05:33 PM

They should have these re-loadable card things for the PSN in your local video game store, or at least that's what Keith told me they have.

Demonskid 11-24-2014 02:14 PM

=o Never played a dreamcast..

hope you can get the game soon ^-^

Witchchylde 11-29-2014 01:00 PM

Not a question of getting the card, it's a question of getting the money to even buy a card. Meh.

ml1201 11-29-2014 07:35 PM

Well that I cannot help with sadly. x'D

Mek 11-30-2014 08:04 PM

I used to own a Dreamcast, but I gave it to one of my cousins years ago. Got it so I could play Record of Loddoss War. Lots of fun, that one. And I thought the Nights games were a Sega Saturn exclusive, or did they make some for Dreamcast as well?

ml1201 11-30-2014 08:23 PM

They've re-released some of the old classics on things like Playstation Network since there's a bunch of people who like retro games. XD

Mek 11-30-2014 08:37 PM

Huh... forgive me if it sounds stupid as I haven't played on a console since the Gamecube... but is that accessible through, like, a PS3?

ml1201 11-30-2014 08:58 PM

Yes, through PS3, PS4, PSP and the PS Vita depending on which system they have it available for. I personally cannot say because my PSP is out of commission right now since it won't hold a charge. x'D

Mek 11-30-2014 09:00 PM

Ooo, I might need to go see if the husband still has the PS3 then. The old Sega games used to be a lot of fun. I was very fond of the Dreamcast.

ml1201 11-30-2014 09:03 PM

Yeah, I only found out through a friend that sometimes they will put games up there on the networks. If you have a Wii or WiiU I'd check those as well, and if not you could try finding a rom of it for the computer. There's a site that you can buy legal roms from for pretty cheap, like a couple bucks. XD I haven't been on it personally but one of my Physics professors uses it. :3

Mek 11-30-2014 10:59 PM

No Wiis here. :(

And, wow, legal roms? Now that is kind of tempting... I remember messing with emulators on my computer. It was more convenient.

ml1201 11-30-2014 11:42 PM

Yeah, I can't remember what site it was (it seems I tore out that page by accident from my note pad I have in my purse), sorry. =( I do have one written down for the pokemon games, but I think that one you play them on the net instead of downloading them to your computer. I could try asking my dad or something tomorrow, see if he might know some.

Mek 11-30-2014 11:43 PM

Mmm, not much into pokemon. I could do a google search, see what pops up.

ml1201 12-01-2014 12:32 AM

Alright, and sorry I couldn't be of much help. =(

Mek 12-01-2014 01:28 AM

Hey, I wouldn't even have known it existed if not for you. :)

Lawtan 12-01-2014 01:47 AM

@___@

Your avatars were just similar enough (color-wise) that for a second, I thought you were talking to yourself on the forum...

Also, hi!

Mek 12-01-2014 01:51 AM

Haha, yeah.

And hiii! :D

Lawtan 12-01-2014 01:53 AM

So, I heard the Wii system and Pokemon...

What's up? Or any of the other quarks?

Mek 12-01-2014 01:54 AM

We were talking Dreamcast and Sega games earlier, then it wandered over to roms.

Lawtan 12-01-2014 01:56 AM

Oh...

I likely know little, there...:f-eyespin:

Mek 12-01-2014 01:57 AM

Dreamcast before your time?

Lawtan 12-01-2014 02:00 AM

Nope...
The only console I've ever had was an Atari 2600... I play on the computer.

I tried a friend's Xbox once and nearly broke Halo...

:f-embarrassed::f-embarrassed::f-embarrassed:

Mek 12-01-2014 02:01 AM

LOL

Oh, man, the Atari brings me back. I loved Centipede.

But how do you break Halo? xD Though it makes me think of sewing machines - never met one I didn't almost break.

ml1201 12-01-2014 09:30 AM

Ah, the first time I played Halo I was forced to use a broken controller, and that's kind of made me not want to play Xbox ever since. x'D And sorry Law for all the confusion, I'll change my avi when I get home from work later.

We had an Atari when I was really little, like too young to remember, but when I was like three my dad had me play educational games on the computer, so I've been a gamer for a very long time. XD

Demonskid 12-01-2014 07:16 PM

-trying so hard not to laugh right now-

Lawtan 12-01-2014 09:20 PM

Oh, the educational games were interesting as a kid...

I've mentioned this before, but the game I remember most on the computer as a kid (Before 10 years old) would be Nightmare Ned - Disney's attempt at the mind-messing of the Beetlejuice franchise...that had a rhyming dragon head mounted on a staircase quoting from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

ml1201 12-01-2014 10:26 PM

@DK
What's so funny? I'm confused. o.o;

@Law
For me it was the Super Solver series (minus two games) and the Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego game. XD There was another Carmen game my dad got that had word searches and stuff in it but I don't remember what it was called. x'D

Lawtan 12-01-2014 10:40 PM

I also had older Sim City games, and my dad got me on his old games. (Wargames, EarthSiege, Blitzkrieg) ...my father's a bit of a military nut.

Mek 12-01-2014 10:49 PM

Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego was my first one, I remember playing that in the computer lab.

I loved Sim City, though I always liked Sim Tower more. o.o

ml1201 12-01-2014 10:50 PM

My dad is too, but I could never get into those games. x'D Not that I was bad at them, I'm much more clever than people give me credit for, I just found them boring. x'D For example, they came out with this game as part of the D&D games that was an army/strategy game and since it was my first time playing the guy who I was going against went easy on me and I wiped the floor with him. XD My boyfriend I had also did the same thing, he'd go easy on me and I'd wipe the floor with him by completely trolling him with my cards in the game. x'D He loved yet hated me at the same time. XD

Mek 12-01-2014 10:52 PM

When I first graduated high school, we'd get together for LAN parties and play Warcraft 3. I was always the first to die. xD I've enjoyed non-competitive games more, because I fluster too easy.

ml1201 12-01-2014 11:23 PM

My brother kind of killed me with competitive games, he was a poor loser and would get pissed when I beat him, didn't help it was few and far between when that happened. x'D
