Where are you from? Seriously...

Men of all eras have had long hair. Though men with long hair were more of the men with poorness and no money to get it cut.

IronMaiden 02-21-2013 11:53 PM

Ah, I see what you mean by single pieces, though couples, I tend to have heads bumping, or not long enough arms, etc. That's why I have problems with them.

littl3chocobo 02-21-2013 11:53 PM

actually it is the opposite dear, longer hair is harder to maintain and difficult to work with so short hair is low class and up until the fifties(and even then only really in the americas for a while after) was a sign you could not afford nice hair

littl3chocobo 02-21-2013 11:53 PM

couples are exactly the same thing dear

hyjin 02-21-2013 11:54 PM

I am from England cant you tell form my accent?

IronMaiden 02-21-2013 11:54 PM

Ah, got my history messed up then.

England, please... I don't see your accent, or you would see my English accent. XD

Well, my accent is crossed between England and French, yet it is easy to change to a regular Canadian accent for those to understand. lol

Plus I read everything with an english accent so your speaking exactly like everyone else. lol

I can't really get couples and people have told me to look at couples and still I do them, yet their heads over lap and I can't get it right. Then I put one behind the other, but some how the one I put behind the other ends up coming in the front, just the head is behind the other head.

littl3chocobo 02-22-2013 12:20 AM

then make a singe and copy it, paste and flip so you ave mirror images then edit them until they each look a little different

Thorrin 02-22-2013 12:46 AM

So what you are saying... Draw out a single, put it on the computer, outline it, then copy and paste, then flip it. Then print it out and then trace it on paper and then draw the rest and then put it on the computer and finish the rest like that?

littl3chocobo 02-22-2013 12:48 AM

no, i am saying draw the rough, scan it, copy and put a mirror next to it and either edit on the comp or print and edit on the paper but keep a general template so you can have a guideline to work with

littl3chocobo 02-22-2013 12:48 AM

it does not have to be complicated at /all/ it can just be a fuzzy squiggle as long as /you/ can understand it

Thorrin 02-22-2013 01:05 AM

I don't think I am getting it at all... I'm sorry.
The only thing I use as a guild right now is what I see in normal.

The way you are explaining it to me is that I draw the clothes and things on the computer and I'm sorry, I don't do that.

This is how I do things.

First draw out on paper

Then outline.

Finally, go and make pretty

So how you are explaining it makes no sense to me with this mirror thing.

littl3chocobo 02-22-2013 01:12 AM

that is not even remotely close to what i am talking about vxv;; i dont know how to explain it, you dont actually make sketches you go right to the finished line art and just draw the line art a couple times which is kinda strange to me

more like this; http://kalaalog.com/wp-content/uploa...ad-2-rough.png

Thorrin 02-22-2013 01:22 AM

Your link doesn't work...

How you say, not making sketches... That's how I draw, because I have no tablet and no mouse to use but my finger on the laptop mouse pad, so that's how I draw line art. It is very difficult to do without sketches. I have tried. I need the visual thing to follow on the computer so I have to draw everything out.

littl3chocobo 02-22-2013 01:26 AM

no i mean instead of a general body template (just the shape no faces hair clothes shading nothing just the outline) you draw the entire picture all at once, that makes it hard if you start with just an outline you can much more easily draw two matching bodies and if you save this outline you can reuse it for future arts as a guide for size and shape

does sweetie have a deviantart?

Thorrin 02-22-2013 01:35 AM

Wow... That totally confused me right there... I have to say I have only started drawing for 5 weeks. I think all of this template, outline is confusing me. Especially with this whole. "...that makes it hard if you start with just an outline..." Okay, so basically throw everything away and don't use outline. "...easily draw two matching bodies and if you save this outline..." Then your saying have the outline there.

English is my native language, but right now, this english is confusing me to no end.

Deviantart? You mean a DA? I randomly signed up for one, like a few years ago, though I never use it. It's all too confusing. If your wanting to link me to a picture, that's fine.
