He flinched and then looked to Toshi, and whispered to her, "We could just ask two good ones and leave. We won't have to go in there..." But even then, he might not be so willing to let the two go after all the trouble he went through to have two people hunt them down and bring them to the village. He turned around, "We'll need some time to think about the questions, sir."

Toshi nodded to what was said to her "There is alot of things we want to know... we want to make sure that the three free questions we get are the right ones to ask" her words where small as she spoke almost as if she was to scared to talked to him

The elder stood and pointed to the mid day sun "You have until dusk to think... then you must come in wither the question have been asked or not, You do not wish to be out at night, it can be dangerous" these words where more a friendly warning and Toshi inched closer to Yuu remembering the drunk men on her first visit out of her home forest, he had been taking mental notes on both of them since they had met and would report them to the other elders when he arrived once more

He pointed to the rune on Toshi's hand "Which priestess bound you?" although annoyed underneath that one of their valuble prizes where tampered with, but his voice showed concern for her. Toshi looked down to the glowing rune, she had forgotten about it "This?" she said quietly "I done it" she moved behind Yuu almost like she was scared she was going to get in trouble

Soon though she looked around, she dropped all her fruit and ran off in what seemed like a random direction. The elder stood swishing his hand a little the fruit floated and went ito what seemed to be a net bag, grabbing it he followed the girl curious to see where she was going and why.

When he eventually caught up he seen three Tengu boys on the ground and Toshi crying stroking the bark of a tree that looked like it had been badly hurt "Dero... I'll help you hand on please... please don't leave" she whispered as she leaned into the tree. The elder stood and watched wondering what was going on, for the moment he ignored the boys on the ground as he had never seen anyone Tengu or otherwise act like this towards a tree

Toshi placed her hand on the tree and closed her eyes as soon as this happened, she began to pulsate a bright green aura, her breathing slowed, the wind and sounds around the surrounding area seemed to cease, the elder stood there dumbfounded at the sight infront of him

Yuu would follow, just to make sure the elder didn't try to do anything stupid to Toshi. When he saw her, he knew what was going on and allowed Toshi to take care of the tree while making sure that the elder would keep his distance.

After a few moments the glow faded and she opened her eyes but they where filled with pain as tears began fall "They killed the spirit within, the dryad is dead and the tree and fairys around it will soon follow" her she curled into herself and looked down to the closed flowers "they'll never wake up... I thought it kinder to give them eternal sleep in a happy dream than for them to wake up and die, slowly of pain, hunger, thirst and heartache" she walked over to yuu and hugged onto his arm

"I hate the Tengu race, they are a horrid backward people that care only for themselves and I will not be associated with the civilisation!" her words where harsh but she was mourning the death of another, she knew that Yuu wouldn't take her words to heart as he was diffrent to the Tengu

The elder was shocked by what happened and her reaction to it, he had never seen someone be so linked with magic and the world around them, and to feel the loss as if it where their own spirit he needed to know more "You are talking out of gried" he now looked down to the three youths sprawled uncontious on the floor wondering what happened. He was also in two minds to punishe them for doing this or reward them for allowing to see some of the abilitys one of the prizes had

Yuu held Toshi closer, glaring at the elder as though he were the one responsible for all of this. He knew that the tengu used magic, forcing out the life essence of the environment around them for their own good, but he didn't want Toshi to witness it with her own eyes. It was bad enough to be there, but it seemed that the situation had taken an unexpected turn, "We don't belong here..so we'll be going.." He rubbed Toshi's arm and tried to lead her away from the elder, turning his back on the man.

sighed and shook his head seeing the glare from the boy "Something shouldn't be taken without return" said the elder as he seen the two turn their backs to him. Toshi stopped hearing that sentance and blinked, she looked confused her eyes then going to her family swords

the swords glowed white for a moment "Get her away from him now!" it wasn't a request but an order, there was also some urgency in the conjoining voices

Yuu jolted, startled by the sudden urgency in the situation at hand. Without questioning why they wanted it, Yuu immediately picked Toshi up and began to run, two wings burst from his back and he used them to fly up onto the roof top. He ran across a few tiles and leapt into the air, spreading his wings and flapping as hard as he could to get away from the danger. From their viewpoint, the village was fairly large and it would have taken a while to get beyond its borders. Yuu bit the bottom of his lip, now thinking about what the elder had said, "Sorry Toshi, I don't know what's going on either."

The elder smiled knowing that one sentance in itself would bring her back and as they where bonding on their own it meant Yuu would follow, but for the moment he walked back to the temple after all he had to report everything that had happened thus far

Toshi's eyes went wide as she was picked up she hadn't heard the sword so didn't know why he acted in such a way so hugged on tightly as they took to the air "if you don't know what's going on, then why did you act in such a fashion" she whisper, she felt tired and terrible for doing what she did to the fairys

"The spirits of the sword told me to take you. They didn't say why.." they were high enough where he could start gliding. He looked back, making sure no one was following them, and then he eased off a bit, "Maybe we should ask. They've been weird since we've been in this village.." He sighed, hoping Toshi would be understanding since he acted from the spirits' orders. Whatever reason they had must have been a good one.

Toshi nodded, she had noticed her ancestors had been acting strange since they had been in the villiage and was worried about it, there was so much she didn't know and she was sure this would be one that she wouldn't know about either, she sighed a little and hugged Yuu no matter what she would trust her ancestors to guide them both

It struck him: the elder's words. He remembered that Toshi said something similar and wondered if that was the reason for the alarm. He knew that Toshi was dead set on keeping that rule, but he tried to figure out how that played in with him and Toshi specifically. He blushed, feeling like it was the first time in a long time where they really had any time to themselves, flying through the sky, feeling free. And in actuality, they were now free from Ai and Kaito, so it had been a very small blessing in disguise, "There's so much to explore out there, isn't there."

The sword glowed slightly ~I'm sorry for that Yuu kun~ it was keni'ich who was present and speaking through the bond "As you have likely realized by that one sentance my family has a history with him" his voice seemed a little distant as he spoke, he fell silent allowing Yuu to ask whatever questions he wanted

Toshi blushed slightly listening to Yuu's hearbeat "I think you skipped a beat Yuu" she gigled a little closing her eyes to hear it more clearly, this was the first time she felt free in her eternal life, sighing contently she nodded "The world could be tiny but as long as i have you the world will be big"

Now he had two things to choose from. Either get his questions answered and have the moment with Toshi ruined, or save the questions for later and enjoy the time he had with Toshi. It was tough for him, but when he thought about all the times he's been with Toshi and all the things they went through, he thought they deserved a little breather from all of it and went with the latter choice. He nuzzled into Toshi's hair and smiled, "Toshi, I-" At that moment, his wings retracted suddenly and they ended up smashing into the tree tops. The small branches and leaves cushioned their landing.

Toshi was compleatly unaware of the conversation between her father and Yuu, but even if she did she would have cared she was happy and felt safe with him and closed. Feeling Yuu nuzzling into her hair she giggled, but it was short lived as they fell her eyes going wide glowing slightly she was caught by a branch watching as another caught Yuu "Did you get distracted?" she giggled happily

Kyruo walked back into the temple and sighed, he should have brought them back but at the end of the day they would end up here anyway. He heared the two children arguing over who got the best reward but that was something he was use to. He had to at least give a report on what Yuu and Toshi were like and any abilitys he seen

"Distracted?" Yuu wasn't exactly sure what to make of it himself. His wings had just pulled themselves in without him wanting it. Worried, he tried to bring out his wings again, and they came out perfectly fine. He sighed and tried to make his way to Toshi, being careful that none of the branches below him would snap and send them down to the forest floor below. He smiled and laughed, though not completely confident about his wings anymore, "Well..I guess so. Let's try walking instead since we're out of the village." He got to Toshi and picked her up once again, but instead of flying upwards, he tried to get them down, flapping his wings so that they wouldn't make a rough landing.

An older female, dressed in gaudy jewelery, trinkets, and silks sighed as she set her tea down. It had been a while since the two nuisances came back, or at least they were a nuisance to her. She grumbled over how they couldn't train the two to at least keep quiet and was tempted to just give them a dungeon room. Her long braided black hair was swept back by a hand as she rose from her cushioned seat on the floor and walked to see if the other had returned. And just with the timing, she saw the very person she was expecting to see, "Kyruo." She frowned after using her senses to try to detect Yuu and Toshi, but did not find anything, and asked what she thought was a rhetorical question, "Was the mission unsuccessful?"

Toshi nodded as he spoke "Yes, you must have been distracted" she smiled watching him climb up to her, she noted how he took carre not to harm the tree as he climbed "Walking sounds nice Yuu" she giggled conently beging brought into his arms once more and enjoyed the decent down from the branch she sat on.

Once on the ground she hopped out of his arms and took his hand a light blush in her cheeks "What where you going to say before we banged into the tree?" she would ask her hand going to the trunk a white glow appearing around her hand as she thanked the tree for protecting them from damage

Hearing the woman Kyruo smiled and walked towards her bowing his head slightly "I see they found their rewards" he say hearing a crash from a near by room and chuckled a little "Play the quiet game... The one that can stay quiet longest gets an extra helping of desert" and with that the comotion grew silent. His eyes then returned to the woman "The mission was sucessful... but they left" he say walking away from her to go get some tea from the table

"I..." Yuu held back. The whole crash threw his whole mood off and he smiled weakly and said something different than what he was originally going to say earlier, "I like the weather here. It really is a nice day to go walking." He was still aware of the dangers behind them, as the elder could send out his armies at any time. At least they did get a head start in getting away, and the faster the moved, the harder it would be to find them.

"Amazing.." she didn't think something so idiotic could work on the two. Then again, the two were idiots themselves, and any good incentive probably would have worked. She turned around, facing Kyruo once again, "Then wouldn't you consider that a 'failed' mission? The objective was to bring them and keep them here, not let them run back after retrieving them."

Toshi blinked at him as he began to stop then continued she could tell that wasn't what he wanted to say but she knew he would say what it trully was when he was ready "Yes the weather is nice here... perfect for a picnic, if I still hat the fruit... perhaps we can find something" she was content as she walked hand in hand with him, just wanting to forget the villiage behind them

"Not amazing, they might not be compleatly there but they are still children and children will do whatever they can to get extra deserts or prizes" for someone so old she was quite simple minded on such subjects, but then again he was the primary carer.

Sitting down he shook his head pouring himself some tea "No it wasn't..." he say placing down the teapot "Why hunt them, when they will return of there own accord, we have things they want" with that he took a sip of his tea

"We can probably find some fruit if we travel a bit more. I know that fruits, mushrooms, and meats are things that tengu hunt for. If they can do it, we can too, I think," he wondered if they used anything to actually help them find the foods. However, he was sure that eventually they would run into something good. He blinked though, "And what is a picnic?"

"Oh? And what things are those? Food? Shelter? Gold?" she joined him and sat down. He wasn't telling everything yet, but at least she got the hint that he had placed the bait down and it was only a matter of time before they returned. Still, she was curious to know just what he did to have the two targets play into his hands, "And what of their status? Did they develop any interesting or useful abilities?"

Toshi nodded to what he said though she had never been hunting before so it was going to be a new experience for her "Why did the Tengu swarm us earlier?" she asked just before he asked his question "A picnic is where you make food at home and you go out taking the food and a blanket and eat outside" she tried to explain it the best she could but wasn't to sure if she was going a good enough job

"I didn't offer food, they can find that... shelter, they can make that with their surroundings... gold, she lives in a forest where everything is provided for her and he was raised as a marked, they would have no use for it" he sighed enjoying the delicate taste of the jasmine "if something is taken something must be given in return" is all he said to help her curiosity but he doubted she would understand what it meant

"They are both alive and well, though the girl has bound herself wuth a level of magic I have never seen... she reacts with her surroundings as if they are people she has known from birth, she knocked out three tengu teens for hurting a tree... " he paused to take another sip "I find that amazing as she is a timid thing, extemely submissive"

"As for the boy it's almost like there is two of them in there, one is agressive like a tengu male is suppose to be and then we have the submissive counter-part that only seems to turn dominate if she is in danger. He carrys her familys blades" with that he grinned like a cheshire cat "But they are forming a bond on their own, and I believe that it will be the strongest we've seen"

"Food from home? Blanket? What's the blanket for?" Yuu could only think that it served to carry the food, or perhaps people napped afterwards. He raised a brow to the previous question though, and thought the answer would be obvious to her, but it must have been something that set the humans and tengu apart, "Tengu are fond of shiny objects, and especially ones that look flawless."

"A successful pairing!" she was overwhelmed with joy at the thought, that all their efforts would finally bear fruit. All the long years, so many failures, and now they had something. Something they can grasp within their fingers. Even though, the abilities that they had seemed particularly odd, they could prove to be very useful for them.

"yes you make sandwichies, rice balls and other things... then you go find a nice spot, you put the blanket on the ground so you can sit on it, and you can put the food on plates sort of use it as a table or you can nap" she smiled happily hoping he understood, though hearing the answer to her own question she put her hand into her obi and brought out a few gems and beads "So these are worth a lot to tengu?" she was curious as she held them out for Yuu to take

He closed his eyes "I do not know how strong the bond is at the moment, remember she is a half breed... so by law should be killed" a sigh coming from his lips, as he thought about the possible outcomes "besides, she is no use to us bound and we don't have anyone near strong enough to counter that seal" he didn't seem overly bothered by possible outcomes as he took another sip of his tea

Yuu was automatically distracted by the pretties, entranced by the perfectly shaped shiny objects. He looked like a child peering through the window to a candy store. After a few long seconds, he nodded, "Yes, we like those." He used to steal such things, but the habit was something that was punishable and he never did it again while he was in his village.

"This is terrible..a halfling?" she sneered in disgust, but there was nothing they could do to change the fact that the abilities belonged to such a being. She thought about it for a moment, and then sat up, "Ah, but what if we could use a spell to force her human half out? And afterwards, we can find someone strong enough to break the seal?" She wasn't aware that it was Toshi that created the seal, which would have made it all too convenient for them if Toshi was cooperative.

Toishi looked to the now distracted Yuu and placed the gems and beads into his hand "why do you like them so much? What do you do with them? she was curious, she had never had to deal with trade so she was urious if they where used to show of to a potential mate or to show their wealth in society, it was just so confusing to her

"yes a half breed" he would reconfirm though he wasn't going to say anything about her non Tengu heritage if he could help it, as it was need to know and she didn't need to know. listening to her he brought out a peice of paper and some charcoal and drew the symbol passing it to her "that was the symbol and it was glowing white" he say begining to pur another cup of tea "It is a possibility 'if' we can find someone strong enough to break that seal... but" he paused for a second "if we where off by even a margin we would kill both sides"

"We..we just like them," it was true that they had a deep admiration for the objects, but they also did present them to people they really liked. He remembered the time he did go around 'borrowing' things while Toshi was recovering, and that was something he never did before for anyone else, "We also give them to people we cherish." His hand went to the side of Toshi's face, pushing back any hair that would obstruct his view of Toshi's eyes, "..Like precious gems." ((he wants Toshi's eyes! OMNOMNOM! x'D))

"If she is no use to us when she's sealed, then she is as good as dead...unless we can remove this," she picked up the drawing. It was a rare seal, but that was because only strong and experienced people were ever capable of using it. And as they learned, the stronger the magic, the higher the risk in making it or having some sort of consequence carried along with it. She closed her eyes, "I say we remove this. And what of you? What do you wish to do with this seal?"

“I collect things that sparkle... I like how the sun hits them” closing her eyes she raised her head as a gentle wind passed by “It is almost as if there is a small universe in them and the twinkles are the suns and stars” she lowered her head, she felt foolish on what she had said but it was her view on the reason why she liked them. Blinking as he spoke about giving them to people they cherish, she went into the folds of her kimono and brought out a flawless piece of pink jade he gave her in the shape of a cherry blossom “I always carry this with me” she smile happily, she believed she was special to him and it was the first gift she had received since the day she died

Feeling the warm touch on Yuu's hand on her face she moved into it instinctively, she didn't know why but she felt like it was the right thing to do, she allowed her hair to be moved a small blush coming to her cheeks, her own eyes sparkling like rare gems in the sunlight, she had no idea he was talking about her eyes. All she knew was she didn't want this time to end, it was the most peace she had in over two hundred years

“You are right she is no use when sealed... But she tried to heal a tree without using Tengu magic...” he paused for a second “so perhaps she does still have some use... but who knows” he sighed and looked down to his tea “All I know is their bond is very strong and her mate will not allow a damn thing happen to her...” he took a sip of his tea

“We don't know what would happen if we killed her, we haven't tested the backlash on the one that survives... and with these two I would rather not test such an experiment as that is dangerous” his voice showing some concern “One thing I can say is that, they are stable... they show no sign of insanity” he thought that was a bonus, and was pretty sure that would keep his associate happy

“I will agree with you, that seal was growing brighter than a sun... but I don't think we have anyone strong enough that can... without death” he closed his eyes and realised how much trouble this one seal was going to cause “She also hates Tengu” he added as a side note before sipping his tea once more

Crow beaks were awfully good for pecking eyes out. Peck to get the prize. Of course Toshi needed those to see, right? Yuu moved forward, not really understanding why he was trying to invade Toshi's personal space. Then, his lips pressed against her forehead like a wet penguin.

"She hates tengu? But doesn't she realize she 'is' part tengu?" it was an outrageous bit of information that she didn't quite expect. Tengu were by far one of the superior species of the world. Why wouldn't one be proud of being part of the superior race? Heil tengu Hitler.

Toshi blushed a little seeing that Yuu was getting closer to her, she was confused as her heart was pounding and skipping beats every now and then, her stomach felt like there was butterflies, she didn't understand how she was feeling she hadn't had someone there to explain it to her, not that it would have mattered as she had never felt like this before.

Feeling The warmth of Yuu's lips on her forehead her blush deepened, looking down she mummbles something under her breath she wanted to say it out loud but she wasn't sure if he would like what she said, she was afraid he would fly off and leave her. She looked at him with her blush still intact "W-w-we sh-should get going... it's almost dusk" she remember what the elder saying about it being dangerous and that worried her

Nodded at her words "Yes, that is what she said" he personally understood how she could hate it, they where one of the superior races, then he sighed "You think she was guarded from her lineage by Misha?" he found it strange to say such a thing as she had always been proud of her heritage but then there was also her mate who hated the race also but for a diffrent reason entirely

"That seal proves she must know she has our lineage within her form, but is seems she is rejecting it and I would guess that is why that seal could be so powerful" not that the seal wouldn't be powerful on it;s own it was after all the rarest seal they had and it had only been used perhaps twice in history "They will be powerful once they are trained to obey" he whispered taking a sip of his tea

With that gesture, he thought he might have done something wrong or something embarrassing, and blushed at it himself, "You're right..we should find a place to hide." It was something he did when he got lost during the late hours to avoid the foxes. He wasn't too sure how the other inhabitants of the forest would treat them compared to the ones that were near his home village.

"I do expect them to come soon. I wouldn't want our precious tools damaged while they're roaming outside," she was referring to the other species that lived beyond the village. Some of which were strong but generally stayed away from the village for good reasons. She didn't know just how well the two could handle such an encounter.

Toshi leaned closed to Yuu her blush getting bright she had no idea why, but she just wanted to be close to him, he made her feel safe, happy and warm in a way that no matter if the colors she loved so much where removed from the world, it would alway be there if he was around

She continued walking with him hugging into his arms, she had no idea what to expect as she had never been to far away from her home she she followed Yuu's instincts, her eyes finally went back to where the villiage was, she needed to know how that man knew what her family believed. Stopping she looked down and bit her bottom lip, she didn't know if what she wad going to say was the right words but they felt like they where the ones she should say "Yuu.." she took a deep breath she could do it she had to "I-I-I... I love you" she blurted out, she just hoped she hadn't made a terrible mistake

The man smirked and shook his head at her words "You under estimate them... think about this as a test" he smiled looking to the room where he knew the twins where "A test by fire, if they do not make it then... they where not strong enough and we'll just have to try again" his eyes moved back to the woman

"One other thing I did note about the girl is the fact she is dead" he would say as if it was an everyday occurance "And as for the boy he has two spirits within himself that will not talk to one another so when i meet him he was in pure black with 4 arms" he sighed sipping the tea, in all truth he didn't really know if he wanted them to come back

He had thought that they were going to focus on just trying to get to a safer spot, so he believed that Toshi hugging into his arms was just Toshi trying to feel safer, and instead she stopped and told him words that he was not used to. He stopped, trying to digest the words that Toshi had just spoken, and he smiled though hiding the fact that he was overjoyed to hear Toshi say that to him. He looked down at her and returned the words, "I..love you too."

She wasn't sure if she preferred the two nut jobs in the other room or if she preferred two that had issues involving spirits. It was almost impossible for a tengu to be like Toshi unless they had used some sort of black magic, which was also taboo in tengu society. And one with two spirits was most likely the result of trying to force a spirit into being reborn as a person that they were not meant to be, though she couldn't remember if that is what they did to Yuu or not. Both aged spirits could end up being harder to control than any of the other experiments, "Stubborn spirits.. Well then, let us see just how they fare tonight."

Toshi's eyes widened as she heard Yuu repeat the words back to her, she couldn't believe it she almost thought like it was some sick twisted joke of a dream that she was going to wake up from at any second, taking her hand she puth them to her cheeks all of a sudden she felt flushed and overwhelmed "R-r-really?" he voice showing her disblief

not waiting for and answer she almost tackled her to the ground And kissed on the lips she was so happy to hear him return her love, but after a moment she broke the kiss "We need to go back... answers need to be answered and I will not get them from my family" she knew it was for her own protection but still, she needed to know especially how that man knew what her family's belief was

Looked up from his tea and watched the woman for a second, and sighed "Do you believe forbiden magics are at work here?" he would ask, his voice showing he wanted her opinion "Even if there was it would be our faults as we did experiment on her mother... then there is her father Ken'ichi" just in that one sentance he showed he knew a hell of alot more than he was saying

Then he thought on Yuu for a moment "We never done any experiments that delt with spirits... I didn't allow it, so how he is like that?" his words where more like a though spoken our loud, hearing the womans words he chuckled lightly a slight evil undertone to it "they will not be a problem...in fact they will control each other for us" once again it was almost as if he had some insight that she didn't

He was in awe and shock of the kiss on the lips, more so than being tackled to the ground. It was his first time to receive one, and his face became brilliantly red as he allowed Toshi to continue. He was about to wrap an arm around Toshi, but then he stopped, listening to the words she was saying. His eyes became filled with worry as the arm that was raised now went down and clutched the hilt of the sword, "But the spirits..they wouldn't want us to go back.."

"Just how long have you been watching these two?" he spoke as if he knew almost every detail on Toshi and Yuu, and she was unaware that he had done so much on them. But then again, the experiments weren't originally her idea to begin with and she merely agreed to having it done since it would have meant a great benefit for all of the elders of their clan. She shifted her position, awaiting an answer.

Toshi looked at him and as he blushed her own got brighter, it was her own first kiss and she she was so happy that she could share it with Yuu "over two hundred years I've waited for that Yuu" she whispered, her words so light that it was very doubtful that he would have heard her

Noving off him she stood up and looked down "They will never give me answers... they wish to protect me, but that protection is costing to much" her voice lacked conviction as she spoke she knew it was the only way as she had tried asking question in the past and was always hit with the same stone wall "Only they know what we are... We are not Tengu and we are not Human..." she clenched her fists and looked right into his eyes

"About the only thing I am sure of right now is that I love you and I want to be by your side for eternity be it good or bad" tears began to roll down her cheek, she was confused and wanted to start understanding what she was so she could move on with her life

Listened to the womans question and smirked a little "I only met them today" his words held truth and she would know he was one for lying, he was more cunning keeping information hidden until he wanted it known "I know both lines of her family... extremely well" with that he stood up placing his cup down before walking to the temple entrance, wondering if he had caught her curiosiry

Love for eternity. The mere mention of it hit Yuu like a lead brick as a memory violently flashed before his eyes. A memory that didn't come from his life, but another. And one that ended horribly. His love for Toshi was almost a reflection, but he didn't dare speak of it and only hinted it through a brief moment of changed expression in his face. He didn't want to lose Toshi, but at the same time he didn't want her to continue living and regretting the moment she could have gotten her answers, "Toshi..I..I'll try my best to be your support.." His arms went around Toshi, feeling like it might be the last one he could give her with all of his heart poured into it.

He didn't understand why it came so suddenly. Maybe it was Nobuo trying to manipulate him into one direction, trying to make Yuu stop loving. And then he didn't know whether or not the vision he saw was a true memory or a fabricated one. But what remained true, and what he felt really mattered the most was Toshi after all.

"Both lines, you say?" she stood up and turned to face him. Her expression was stern, but still marked with curiosity about all the things that were in his head. Things that he wouldn't let on, at least not without drawing them out by some form of question of sorts. She would follow him and keep her distance, as she didn't want to approach too closely to the entrance, "Don't tell me that you have somehow had a hand in putting these two families together."

Looked to him she felt like there was a war going on in his form, and she wasn't helping it any "Yuu..." she stopped she didn't know what to say because she had no idea what was going on in his mind closing her eyes as she felt his warm embrace, her arms went up to grab his top her head going to his chest 'this love is eternal' she though, she felt like she was fully there for the first time in her life

Sighing she uttered something under her breath and they would fade into the temple with Yuu sat on one of the chairs at the table, she would be sat in his lap curled up looking around the elaborated temple "Do they all look like this" she whispered to Yuu talking about the temple, whispering a few more words a shield came up she didn't want to take any chances

The man nodded "Yes I know both lines well... I was the elder of Misha's tribe and as for her mate..." he paused and grinned a little, feeling the presence of the sword he smiled "Of course I had nothing to do with their mating happening... it is against the laws!" he roared at such an accusation "Her father's family are branched to mine... they where weaker and thus served my family after so long they broke free during the break out... the protections misha put up prevented anything entering that house that wasn't in need" he moved in front of her his amatheyst eyes glaring into her emerald "They disguarded their tengu heritage some three thousend years ago"

Yuu's eyes scanned the place and his body became tense, goosebumps covered his skin. The temple was elaborate, but it was different from any other buildings he had seen, being structured much differently than any mansion or castle he had been dragged into. They had now jumped right into the fire, and he kept a hand on the sword for precautionary measures, in case the elders and his underlings had something dangerous planned for them.

He looked at Toshi, who was sitting in his lap and looking at her surroundings like he did. He would have stood up if he could, to get into a better position to use the sword just in case, but he didn't want to just suddenly grab Toshi and force her to her feet. With a head shake, Yuu answered, "I don't know. I haven't been inside the temples before. This is my first time.."

She raised a brow to this information, now uncertain what exactly he meant by Toshi being a half-breed if both parents were tengu, unless he considered the lower subpart of his family to be something else for abandoning their tengu heritage. Though, being one to be difficult to please, she spoke out against his outburst, "Then maybe you should tell me more information before I make assumptions and start accusing you." She crossed her arms, looking at him as though she just scolded a child. Then she waved a hand in the air, "Then Toshi is a lower tengu and not a half-breed?"

However, she stopped breathing momentarily, hearing voices from within the temple that didn't belong to the two idiots playing the silent game. She didn't recognize them from being from the other elders, and it was certainly too late in the day for anyone of the villagers to come visit. And other than that, they had been standing in front of the entrance so whoever it was had snuck in by some other means. She turned around to where the voices were coming from, and then turned back to face her partner, "Did you hear that?"

Toshi stood allowing Yuu to stand up if he wished, if he indeed did stand she would move behinf him almost instinctivly her eyes going to the sword on Yuu's side watching as her father emerged "This isn't good" he muttered to Yuu "Ancestrial weapons are not meant to cut down family" he whispered looking at Yuu, "I will be here if you need me" he whispered once more

"What I mean is they changed race... they had no tengu blood in them what so ever... she is a half blood" he paused looking to the moon "Though there is an ability to give her back her true heritage, though..." he sighed slightly "It could erase her memory" he muttered

"I don't think I have to tell my family history to you if I don't want to... if you have a problem with that take it to the council" he snapped, yes it was true he had information but this was private and he didn't want it pubically known

He hadn't even listened to the woman "Hello children, glad of you to join us..." he started keeping his eyes on the moon "You still have your three questions like we agreed, and young Toshi your fruit is on the table" his word was gentle as he spoke ~proof to you of their abilitys~ he said into his companions mind

Yuu wasn't sure what Ken'ichi had meant. As far as he knew, he and Toshi had no blood relationships with the elders who meant to do them harm. Though maybe what Toshi said earlier was right: the spirits were holding back much more information than what they had let on. He whispered back to Ken'ichi, hoping to get an answer to this, "They're family?"

Before she could speak out against him, he had already proceeded into the other room and right to Toshi and Yuu, whom she assumed were the ones that they had been after considering how he was treating them. She didn't have to sense them to understand that the two had bonded well. It was easy to see just by looking at the two. But she smiled warmly at the two despite wanting to respond to her comrade immediately, "Welcome to our temple, young ones."

Yuu growled, his eyes glowed faintly, as if warning the two that if they did anything to harm them, then he would retaliate with everything he had. Nobuo was pressing for it, and he could feel it. Wanting to kill the two to wipe them free of their past and then moving forward with their own future without any hindrences. At the same time, seeing two scheming elders was intimidating in itself and one part of him just wanted to run and hide. Then he sighed and looked as though he had just given up on his hostilities, cooperating with whatever they had at the moment, "Toshi will be the one asking the questions."

Ken'ichi looked at Yuu as he spoke "My family are the lesser of his... but we escaped three thousend years ago" he closed his eyes and lowered his head for a second before raising it once more "We refused to be their mats any longer and found sanctuary in the forest that is now our family home... we helped guard and tend to the forest... as a reward the took our tengu blood from us and we became spirits of nature" he spoke his eyes remaining on the man, who waved back with a smile "Hello cousin.... it's been well over a thousend years" he said playfully

Toshi took in what she wanted to as her father spoke, she heard 'we are not Tengu' and that was good enough for her, she clenched to Yuu's top with fear in her eyes now believing that perhaps this was a bad idea, but they both had questions and only these people would know the whole truth, wither they gave it was another matter.

She didn't talk back but she bowed her head a little as a greeting "Yuu, I'm scared" she whispered into his ear, her form trembling slightly as she seen the male elder walking forward and taking a seat at the table "Now... Now" he began "There is no need for that... come sit and have some tea" he say with a smile pouring tea for the four of them taking a sip of his own to prove to Toshi and Yuu there wasn't anything wrong with it
