Joey laughed, understanding what Saya was trying to do, but going along with it nonetheless. "I was very photogenic child. My baby pictures are superb." Joey said with a grin. "I was once asked to model for a diapers commercial." He added as an after thought.

Olivia laughed. She could have seen that coming. Joey was probably one of the rare people who sincerely liked others to see his baby pictures.

Juneberry 04-19-2011 04:08 PM

"Mine look like a baby boar playing in mud, only with the boar being a person...Being followed by a boar." Sayaku grinned, adding, "In my area we didn't have television or commercials, it was too small a village. But as a baby I was indeed considered cute."

Honor 04-22-2011 12:02 AM

Olivia laughed. "I'm sure you were adorable." She told him with a smile. Joey laughed, then a mischievous spark caught in his eyes. "Speaking of pictures," He began in a sort of sing-song trilling voice. He pulled a slim silver camera from his pocket and held it up. "Let me get one of you two."

Gently he nudged Olivia just hard enough to send her into Saya's chest. Her hand caught herself there, looking up in surprise at Saya. Just as she did so Joey's camera flashed. He grinned. "Great, I love catching people off in pictures. Now pose you two."

Juneberry 04-22-2011 12:08 AM

Sayaku had been too worried about Oliver at that point to worry about the flash and, thus, had to blink in surprise from it. "You okay, Olive? Glad I was able to catch you." He didn't notice Joey's later not until after, pulling Oliver into him but a bit differently, so that it wasn't as if he'd fallen. "This okay with you?"

Honor 04-22-2011 12:56 AM

Olivia blushed slightly. "Oh, I'm fine, thanks." She told him. She let him pull her against him in a more natural hold. She left her hands against his chest, though now they were positioned as if they wanted to be there and had not simply fallen against him. She smiled.

Joey snapped a picture at that moment. "Perfect." He said with a very large grin.

Juneberry 04-22-2011 01:08 PM

"And we're in costume," Sayaku noted, chuckling. "So now we can use this as proof that we were in the play together. If our families need proof..." He thought about it. Why had he even said such a plain and useless thing? "My parents would want to see a picture of you so...It makes sense I guess..."

Honor 04-22-2011 01:32 PM

Olivia laughed suddenly. At least his parents would get to see what her as she really was, sort of. It was a good thing that Joey had taken the picture though. If her sisters ever got too curious about what she was doing at school she would send it to them, hopefully it would satisfy their curiosity for a while.

"True, though unless I read the script wrong, I don't believe the maid and the servant boy have a romance going on." She said with a smile.

Joey just laughed. "You must read between the lines Olive! The minor characters are always so much more interesting when you do that." He smiled and put his camera away. "I'll give you two each a copy."

Juneberry 04-22-2011 02:32 PM

"Thanks, Joey," Sayaku replied, grinning. "And that's true...Reading between the lines is a good thing. If you don't it seems like there's nothing left to the imagination with stories. If everything was just plain set out...It'd be boring."

Honor 04-22-2011 10:33 PM

Joey smiled at Saya, pleased about his opinion on reading between the lines. "Exactly, and though the play never hints to it, I've always imagined the two to be romantically involved." Joey said. He glanced at his cell phone for the time then shoved it back in his pocket. "Now, you two should scurry back to your dorm. I have work to do." He said with a over dramatic bow and then turned to go about his business.

Olivia laughed. Joey certainly was a character. She was glad to have made such an interesting friend. She looked up at Saya, realizing she was still in his arms from taking the picture. She blushed a little, but made no move to leave his side. She was his 'boyfriend' now. She could do stuff like this. "C'mon." She said, smiling, "We should get back."

((When she the weekend be? Two days from now? Tomorrow? Whenever sounds good for you.))

Juneberry 04-22-2011 11:17 PM

((Either works. I'm not really picky. Flutter'll be by basically every day at breakfast so she still has to come in xD And...Well, Saya and Oliver basically see each other twenty/four seven it seems like xD))

"You make sure to watch yourself, Joey." Sayaku replied, laughing and waving off the bow. "You better not work too hard or we'll have to worry about ya." When Joey was gone, he gave Oliver a grin, patting his back before letting go of him. "If it's even possible for Joey to overwork. He's like a boundless bubble of energy or something. I wonder if he's part of that old myth my mom told me...Oh well. Let's get goin'."

Honor 04-22-2011 11:22 PM

Olivia smiled and began to walk, taking Saya's hand in her's. "He definitely is full of energy, though I don't believe I've heard the myth you're referring to. What is it?" She asked curiously. She loved a good story.

Juneberry 04-22-2011 11:32 PM

"Ah, it's an old one from my village so there's no doubt you'd have not heard of it. My sister barely knows it since she grew up outside the village. Then again, she doesn't have any interest in such things anyway." He let out a sigh, smiling. "Our village focuses on two astral beings. Everyone on the planet knows them but not in the same essense we do. To us, the sun and moon are sort of like gods. It's all black and white- good and bad. They say, in our village, that once every hundred years or so, the sun and moon each choose a human to be their "helper". Sort of like a...priest or priestess, but more divine? I don't really know how to explain it. But...I assume that the Sun's Helper would be at least that full of energy, y'know?"

Honor 04-22-2011 11:37 PM

"The sun's helper.." Olivia mused, liking the idea. "That certainly seems like Joey. I think of the energizer bunny when I look at him, honestly." She smiled, thinking of the stuffed bunny for those battery commercial. She could see the resemblance.

Juneberry 04-22-2011 11:40 PM

"What's an energizer bunny?" He didn't know that many things regarding batteries yet- while he knew of them, he barely knew a thing about the brands and tended to push it off. Thus, the idea of a bunny energizing wasn't making sense in his head. "I mean, I know some rabbits are energetic but some just seem so dang depressed..."

Honor 04-22-2011 11:45 PM

Olivia laughed, finding his lack of knowledge on the subject cute. "It's a pink stuffed bunny on a battery commercial. It's sort of there symbol. The bunny never rest, it just keep going and going." She explained.

Juneberry 04-22-2011 11:48 PM

"Explains why I never heard of it. I don't watch television much, thus don't know much from commercials. TV is my sister's thing. She watches it constantly." Thinking about it, he looked at Oliver curiously. "Do you watch TV a lot, Olive? They say it rots your brain, but I hear it can also be pretty educational."

Honor 04-22-2011 11:51 PM

Olivia shrugged. "Oh, I watch it every so often. I watched it a lot as a kid, though, so that were most of my knowledge on it comes from. It's probably out of date now." She said, remember some of her favorite television programs.

Juneberry 04-22-2011 11:54 PM

"Have you ever felt like you lived in a television program?" Sayaku had a curious grin on his face, his arms behind his head. "As a kid, my sister would tell me about all sorts of stuff she saw, and whenever she did...I could always relate to it somehow. So at one point I wondered if the village....if we were secretly being stalked by cameras."

Honor 04-23-2011 12:00 AM

Olivia laughed. "No, can't say I've ever felt like that. But I used to pretend that I was on television. I'd always act like some bug star that everyone wanted to know. I get always dressed up and everything." She said, remembering her attempts to put on make-up at age six.

Juneberry 04-23-2011 12:10 AM

"I think a lot of people do that as kids. I used to play prince with the other kids in the village. We'd all take turns being the king, queen, prince and princesses and stuff. And knights. I think my favorite was usually the knight..." He laughed a bit. "I'm not much of a fighter, but I don't feel I'd fit in as a royal. But a servant is just fine too."

Honor 04-23-2011 12:18 AM

Olivia grinned, imagining a little 'King' Saya. "How cute. Should I start calling you 'Your Highness?' or 'My Prince.'" She teased him lightly.

Juneberry 04-23-2011 12:30 AM

"Please don't. It's rather bothersome when people do. I don't think I could handle it for very long." He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "As I said, I usually played the knight and either way I haven't played such games since I was six. I tend to just stick with Saya as a nickname."

Honor 04-23-2011 01:17 PM

Olivia smiled at Saya's nervous laughter. She wondered why it made him so nervous. "Ah, too bad. I don't know any cute ways to call you a knight." She said with false disappointment in her tone and a light laugh.

((Oh dear, I just remembered, they never changed out of their costumes. Should we have them still wearing them, or pretend they already changed?))

Juneberry 05-02-2011 08:04 PM

((Sorry for the late reply. And...Either way is fine. I took a while because of writers block but I should be okay now. Sorry it took so darn long...))

"I think most of what you say sounds cute," He confessed. However, it sounded corny as he chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Then again, I'm biased. To me the reason it'd be cute is you. So..." His laughter continued, though it was clear it was just to try to seem less odd.

Honor 05-02-2011 10:54 PM

Olivia blushed fiercely at his words. Cute was never a word she applied to herself. Strange, a tad bit awkward, and a daydreamer, sure, but never cute. "I... thank you." She said, not quite sure what else to say. She was flattered, but she was also sure most boys her age wouldn't appreciate the term cute. "Personally, I think I just seem odd."

((Don't worry about it ^^ and... I think I'll go with them still having their costumes on.))

Juneberry 05-03-2011 12:11 AM

"If you mean because you're dressed as a gal right now, it isn't always considered odd." Sayaku noted, chuckling. "I've seen plays about guys who were forced into girl's clothing by their mothers anyway. While I can't relate to that, it does help put into perspective the fact that it isn't all that strange. Though I'll admit, I feel strange in this stuff too. I don't see how a servant could work in these types of clothes.."

Honor 05-03-2011 11:09 PM

Olivia laughed. "No, it's not the girls clothes. I've been forced into girls clothes since I was born." She smiled and then realized her sentence could sound odd. "By my sisters, of course." She swung their hands a bit as they walked, smiling. "I just meant in general. I find myself to be an odd person, not that that's a bad thing."

Juneberry 05-03-2011 11:15 PM

"I suppose I'll count myself lucky that I only have one sister, whom never had an interest in playing dress up." Sayaku chuckled, smiling a bit. "Though I've never worn these clothes- I've only seen 'em once on royalty, 'cause my sister managed to make nice with the king's son...Though she had no idea who he was. Neither did I when the kid came over for dinner... I was pretty embarrassed when I found out."

Honor 05-08-2011 12:03 AM

Olivia raised and eyebrow. "You had dinner with a King's son? That's impressive. How'd that go?"

Juneberry 05-09-2011 07:39 PM

"He didn't really notice me. That guy had a major crush on my sister for some reason, so most of his time over he spent talking to or about her. To be honest, it sort of annoyed me- but it annoyed her even more." He laughed nervously, adding, "He was a nice guy overall...But I think he wasn't really paying enough attention to how his constant talking effected the rest of us and our meal. But he was pretty polite otherwise. Even though what we ate was very different from what he was used to and far less fancy, he was very courteous about the meal. He said it was amazing, which made me wonder what the hell they actually eat in that castle. Mom's cooking is really good though- she's one of the best in the village. But...That meal was really bland. Beside's Flute's food, anyway."

Honor 05-09-2011 09:01 PM

Olivia grinned and pushed open the door to their room. "I'd guess that he honestly liked the meal. As good as fancy food is, I bet sometimes everyone craves a good home cooked meal."

Juneberry 05-10-2011 06:23 PM

"I guess you have a point there. But somehow I think he was also trying to impress my sister..." He laughed a bit nervously. "Ah well. It was hard to tell at first anyway that he was a royal."

Honor 05-23-2011 10:13 PM

Olivia smiled and sat down on Saya's bed, removing her shoes and then lying back, still in her dress. "Do you want to change first?" She asked him, staring at the underside of her bed. She wondered if the fact that she never dressed around him seemed odd. She assumed most guys didn't care about getting dressed with other guys in the room, since she didn't care about dressing with other girls in the room. Of course now that they were dating she had an excuses, didn't she?

((sorry about being gone so long, my laptop charger broke))

Juneberry 05-25-2011 06:14 PM

"Wouldn't it be simpler if I change in the bathroom while you change out here? This way there's no need to worry about who goes first." He grinned- he had never found it strange not to change in the same room. In fact, he preferred it. Sayaku was fairly anxious when it came to his own body- while he was muscular and had a fair build, he did have some femininity to his appearance, and the scars on his back from his past problems weren't things he wanted seen, either. "Let me just get my normal clothes." He went to where his clothes were stored, pulling out a pair of overalls and a t-shirt- something he hadn't worn lately. Then, he went to the bathroom door. "Take your time and knock when you're done, so I know I can come out. Okay?"

Honor 05-25-2011 11:04 PM

Olivia nodded, "'Kay." She said, blushing slightly, glad that he seemed completely okay with it. She went to her bag and pulled out a dark blue pair of jeans and a band t-shirt that was baggy enough to hide her girlish form slightly, but not baggy enough to dwarf her form. Once he had enter the bathroom she changed. Brushing a had through her hair she walked to the bathroom door and knocked just loud enough for Saya to hear. "Done." She called through the door.

Juneberry 05-30-2011 04:31 AM

"Alright. I'll be out in a bit." He was almost finished, but Sayaku was a fairly slow dresser for a boy. However, he wasn't overly slow either. It was just hard for him to put on the overalls, sometimes- the clasps sometimes fought with him. When done, he opened the door, letting out a sigh. "Sorry about that. After a while, the clasps on overalls do get harder to work with..."

Honor 06-06-2011 09:12 PM

Olivia smiled, giggling slightly, and stepped out of Saya's way as he can through the door. Her hand gently brushed one of the clasps he had been talking about. She patted it reassuringly. "I'm just a quick dresser." She assured him.
