This one lady bought her son a 007 game and I told her straight up that it was a shooting game and she didn't care. Like half an hour later she came back to return it for a Sonic game cuz she actually looked at the game she bought and thought it was too violent. .__.;

Well on the topic at hand... i agree. Parents just hear their child ranting and raving about some awesomely graphically violent game.... and just buy it for them because "that's what the wanted for their birthday/christmas/whatever"

I think I found out about all of that mature stuff pretty early but I don't think I saw things way too early...? I just don't want my kids to be seeing tons of sex and violence when they haven't even started puberty yet. There are so many grade school kids who know about EVERYTHING. It's ridiculous. I want to say it was Fallout, or maybe it was uh Call of Duty. They didn't think anything of it because his dad is in the military and had been like since he was born... ._. |
