Potironette 12-03-2016 11:56 PM

Haha I magically wake up at my stop :P

Honestly I'm just way too tired to not nap x'D

Kaderin Triste 12-03-2016 11:58 PM

I wish I could say that. I'm often to tired to function, but somehow not tired enough to nap. It sucks.

Potironette 12-04-2016 12:03 AM

Aww D:. The only reason I sleep at all is because I get tired. Naps are basically lighter sleep to me, since I only sleep for a few hours anyway.

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 12:05 AM

I did kind of nap today. But I didn't have anything major to do and I had a cat snuggling with me.
When you're getting cat snuggles, you have to nap. It's the law.

Potironette 12-04-2016 12:07 AM

Cats snuggles <3!
The only contact I have with cats is in seeing random strays XD

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 12:13 AM

Aww...that's sad.
I have 2 cats. And when it's cold out, they love snuggling. >w<

Potironette 12-04-2016 12:14 AM

That's so cute <3
Do they snuggle with you together :o?

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 12:22 AM

Frequently, yes. Usually I'll have one behind my knees and one snuggled against my belly if I'm on my side. And if I'm laying on my back, I usually have one between my legs (that sounds bad...) and one laying on my stomach/chest.

Potironette 12-04-2016 12:27 AM

Lol XD. That's really nice <3. Cats are usually portrayed as standoffish in books I read so it's a little surprising. I'd thought that only dogs slept in beds until now

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 12:37 AM

I think the "cats are standoffish" thing is a bit of an over-generalization.

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 12:37 AM

Yeah. Cats definitely are made out to be more of the asshole loner types. But both of my cats are supremely affectionate and one of them pretty much will demand that I pick him up and carry him around sometimes.

Glitch 12-04-2016 12:58 AM

I used to nap on the school bus. . . until I developed the habit of sleeping with my mouth open xD then just embarrassing XD

Glitch 12-04-2016 12:59 AM

cho won the page 300 post contest btw!

Potironette 12-04-2016 02:01 AM

I sometimes sleep with my mouth open on the subway...it depends on my head position.
When I sleep at my desk, I drool >//<. Once someone asked me if I was drooling, to which I replied "Yes" without really thinking about it since I was too groggy to feel embarrassed.

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 02:22 AM

Oh man...waking up to find out you've been drooling is the worst! Especially when people are around to see.

Glitch 12-04-2016 07:53 AM

It always makes me worried I was snoring

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 10:28 AM

Own that stuff! Grin confidently at people after a nap. ;P

Glitch 12-04-2016 12:08 PM

i don't know if you noticed the time stamp on my last post but I totally woke up at 3 and just laid in bed until 6am before I finally fell back asleep.

The worst part was i felt like I could have gotten up with only three hours of sleep and gone about my day. =.=

Jinx 12-04-2016 12:49 PM

-Randomly taps a few people's noses-
Boop
Beep
Oh!

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 12:49 PM

Sleep is kind of fiddly like that sometimes, I suppose.

Potironette 12-04-2016 12:54 PM

Aww D:

I've never seen a drunk person before, but I think I act a little not sober/uninhibited after a nap so I do do that. It goes to the extent of me making weird sounds of exclamation and waving hi to people when I normally wouldn't XD

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 01:14 PM

drunkenness and tiredness are rather similar, so, makes sense. :)

Potironette 12-04-2016 02:54 PM

They are :o? In that case being drunk sounds suddenly a lot less happy XD

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 02:56 PM

Yeah. Being drunk is really not a fun sensation.
Some people seem to enjoy it though. *shrug*

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 02:56 PM

Well, you know that feeling you get when you're so tired that everything's funny? Past the point where you just wnat to sleep, but here you are, still awake, now "who the hell needs sleep, anyway??"

That's what I mean. Not just being tired. :P

Potironette 12-04-2016 03:09 PM

I've never stayed awake that long. I've gone two days or so without sleeping, but still never got past that point :P. It's too difficult XD

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 03:14 PM

o.o I think it usually happens at around the 20 hours awake mark.

Of course, I don't like staying up all night, so I avoid it as best I can at all times.

Potironette 12-04-2016 03:17 PM

Lol XD. Around 20 hours I usually collapse into bed most days. But...If I'm doing something that is sort of mechanical and doesn't require imaginative thought (math homework vs English homework), then I can stay awake much beyond that mark.

I don't like staying up either, but I can't fall asleep unless I tired XD

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 03:22 PM

I used to be able to stay up late no problems.
But now if I stay up too late and don't get ehough sleep, it messes me up for days. XP
I hate it.

Potironette 12-04-2016 03:26 PM

Aww D:
Granted, staying up late isn't a healthy practice anyway.
I only do it on weekends because it sort of became a bad habit.

MonBon 12-04-2016 03:27 PM

My math homework is a little too intense to do when I'm tired nowadays
Yet I still pull far too many late nights

Kaderin Triste 12-04-2016 03:28 PM

Yeah. I generally only stay up late if I'm really into whatever project I'm working on or if insomnia has struck.

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 03:29 PM

I had a friend in high school who said one day, "Geometry makes the most sense when you're drunk...and calculus makes sense when you're high."

She ended up as the class salutatorian. :P

MonBon 12-04-2016 03:31 PM

Your spacial geometry is very not okay when you're drunk though?

Tohopekaliga 12-04-2016 03:34 PM

It was mostly a joke, I believe. But math and tiredness made me think of it. :P

Potironette 12-04-2016 03:35 PM

Lol XDD.
Maybe it makes more sense because it's on flat paper instead of the real world :P

Glitch 12-04-2016 04:08 PM

I used to stay up all night to be rebellious in high school but after lunch I'd always start dozing off at my desk. I'd be doing the head bob the entire class . . .then I'd get home and just fall asleep on the couch or something and wake up at 10pm or so really confused about where I was.

Tsukimiya 12-04-2016 04:22 PM

*Crawls under Glitch's bed and falls asleep*

Glitch 12-04-2016 04:29 PM

there are wrapping papers under there!

Tsukimiya 12-04-2016 04:36 PM

And now they are my blankets
