I don't think it was that way in the British PAL versions of the games. Everything seems authentic to me.

The japanese version when they were in the past and susano came in about to head to the moon cave.. they found a Naked 'Kuni' he was completely Naked.

American Version.. he had Boxer Shorts on.. made to look like the 'old days" thing is.. back then in japan.. they wore a under pants called Fundoshi and they look NOTHING like boxers xD so.. america added THEIR underwear that americans wore back then when the game's time frame was based.. but.. japan didn't have that =w=

America has a very weird thing from changing stuff in games, and the titles of consoles. Then again that happens in Europe as well. No more Hereos for the Wii, for example, was a very bloody game in america and Japan. Here in the UK the blood is replaced by coins and black pixels flying around..

No More Heros was sort of based around video games and pixels etc, so they went for a cloud of black pixels to replace the blood, and a shower of pixelated coins. I think the coins may have been in the other versions though.

from what I've seen, bad language and nudity is far more relaxed over here in Europe, and violence/gore is the same way in America. Like a PG (parental Guidance) movie can actual occasionally have nudity in it. Yet our video games rated for 16+ have to be restricted for gore/violence..

I stayed with a family in America for 8 weeks, and the things they found more offensive, or were excluded from certain rating were just weird to me xD

Honestly I dont understand why the ever bothered with ratings, when one one seemed to follow them. I can understand them on cigarettes and alchohol. But there's no real reason for them on other things.
