I think you should okay going abroad to Canada, as I would imagine hey share some mobile networks with America?

Really? We had no trouble getting our network over here.. but I think there is an American pay as you go, Ducky. I looked into it when I thought I was moving back cause I wanted to take my now useless phone back with me and give my other useless phone to my dad.

You would have to go with the one American companies like Virgin or ATT. I am sure you can get a SIM from them to use while in the States.
