I need to get out my old YuGiOh deck and practice some. Most of my cards are really outdated.

As are mine. I still have two of the original Egyptian God Cards though......never got the chance to really try them out unfortunately.

Yeah their are new card type now like fusion (Synchro) cards are now no longer included in the deck but on the side. That is the biggest thing i know of.

That's... interesting. I think the only change I ever noticed was when they changed the wording on the magic card from "Magic Card" to "Spell Card".

Yeah, it confused me when Todd handed me a deck to look through one day.

It can be confusing....especially when they decide to change the rules. Took me a while to get used to, but I kinda stopped getting new cards, so I'm safe when it comes to that!....at least for nows....

I use that little discrepancy to my advantage. I have this trap card that does direct damage to someone's life points for the third "spell card" activated after the trap is triggered. I usually play it off as the ones saying "magic card" as being different and not applying. It works to my advantage since I have lots of older cards that say "magic card" instead of "spell card" on them.

Ummm you can't do that at an official event, instant strike to disqualification (3 strikes per year i believe).

I never played in any official events. It was always me and some guys from the band and chorus after school in the music wing during high school. I wouldn't dare try that in anything official, though. The guys just took it in stride since they thought changing something like that was just weird. It made things more interesting.

Unfortunately, "they" includes all those wealthy old white politician-type men. They do not care about you. They do not care about your struggles. They care only about what can be done by everyone else to make more money for them.
