I am hoping that installing the tablet driver on my laptop will not somehow affect how my tablet functions on my desktop whenever I get it back... I dunno how these things work, but I can't use the tablet on laptop without the driver.

No, these items are not going to fix the inflation, they're new items, it won't have any impact on the price of the other stuff on the site, second I don't know what either of these looks like, why would I want to buy expensive tickets on the off chance that maybe I'll get an item I might not even like? Third, making them so exclusive and expensive from the start is asking for even HIGHER inflation.

Well, there will be previews of the items whenever the tickets go on sale. But I am inclined to agree about the inflation; I really don't see it helping. But Ernya and several other users think it will, or will "replace unhealthy inflation with healthy inflation", according to one of their posts.

.....I don't see how it's going to replace the "unhealthy" inflation. This is going to suck a lot of excess gold out of the system, maybe for a month, but the prices of stuff in the exchange aren't going to budge, that stupid panda item will still be 500K and these new items are just going to start off expensive.

Older users won't be affected but any noobs who join the site are out of luck.

yeah, pretty much. New people will never have any chance of getting these items, and the only people who will will be the ones who've been sitting on huge piles of gold all along.
