heh, i completely know what you mean. adulting is hard, and i've been doing it for many years now. (i'll give you a hint: my older daughter is an adult now, too. she's 19.) O_o

I don't have any kids and I don't have the desire to have any. I have a boyfriend, 2 parrots, and a cat, and that's enough for me to be happy. More power to those who choose to become parents though ^^ |

I definitely know what you mean. Things have changed so much between high school and now. My boyfriend and I have been together since then, over 7 years now. It's crazy to think we've both been homeless/couch surfing, I rented a room from someone for a few months and then he moved in with me, then we moved into our first place together. We were there for a year, then we closed on our first house on Halloween! We've been here since then and I'll be working again soon, so I'm pretty thrilled to have my own income again and be able to help out with the bills.
