Well, I guess right now you'd call it artistic smears. I just sort of much colour and texture onto a canvas with my hands, and stop when it looks good. Or at least, that's my new thing. I went to an art night that did a landscape so I might practice with that a bit but I think what I do now is more towards abstract or impressionistic, if I were to label it. I do more detail work with watercolour, things like flowers or stylized landscapes or patterns.
I've got a stock of bulk canvas that I've hear are pretty good, and I'm going to paint a variety and see what gets attention next summer. I hear acrylic paint should cure for a bit so I'm going to start building a stock this winter.
I have some old paintings on Deviant Art but nothing of my newer stuff is online. I'm working out how to price right now. Materials I think should be easy enough but labour is more difficult. One 12x12 canvas can take me an hour to several or even days depending on how happy I am with what comes out. Also, I wouldn't call myself professional quality, and my paints are on the cheaper end.
