Pretty sure Burger King already offered pancakes, unless that's only MickeyD's. I miss Burger King, there isn't one within a hundred miles of this town.

D:
that's pretty far to go for a BK.
or PK

Witchchylde 08-27-2018 10:30 AM

We've got McDonald's, Wendy's, Carl Jr, and an A&W combined with a Long John Silver's. Apparently there was a BK here over fifteen years ago but it got closed down for vermin infestation. I think it was a hatchet job by one of the competitors.

D:
damn, that's dirty!!

Witchchylde 08-27-2018 10:46 AM

Yeah, from multiple points of view. Even if it was legitimately unclean by the lack of care taken by the franchise licensee.

Maybe there'll be another one eventually. Here we had a Burger King that closed, opened up at a different place a year later, closed again after a while, reopened at a third, closed again and now has finally settled into the shopping area near the airport.

Maybe fourth time is the charm there

tsukiko 08-27-2018 07:51 PM

*noms on a butter boat sadly*

Witchchylde 08-27-2018 07:59 PM

Maybe a different flavor of butter boat will bring happiness?

tsukiko 08-27-2018 08:04 PM

maybe. or maybe i'm just sad being stranded...

Witchchylde 08-27-2018 08:18 PM

No one to help with the unpacking, or show you where to get your groceries or take away food?

tsukiko 08-27-2018 08:27 PM

my stuff is 2miles away in storage. i have no car (or really know anyone here), grocery store is about 2miles in the opposite direction of my storage unit. the closest food place is again...2miles away. i have no job atm because i didn't have a local address until yesterday, the people i do know here work at night and sleep during the day.....sighs. doesn't matter

mdom 08-27-2018 08:36 PM

Awww D:
at night you can call one of them to help then! Don't be discouraged!

tsukiko 08-27-2018 09:05 PM

yes and no. my storage unit closes at 9pm. so they getting off at midnight doesn't help. i also don't have any money atm because of having to stay an extra night in a motel AND having to pay $300 per pet for deposit. the apt website didn't say anything about that that was PER pet. only the monthly pet rent was per pet. =_= so that extra $300 was my food and necessity budget until october.

mdom 08-27-2018 09:38 PM

D: Can't the cats stay with someone you know? I hate places that do that with pets and not... kids xD

Witchchylde 08-27-2018 10:19 PM

Oh no, not giving up the fur babies! Not an acceptable solution, especially as it's highly unlikely that deposit will be refunded just because the cats got sent away. Kitties stay!
