The sticker on my tower

I forgot to post this. It was a very relevant sticker in my opinion.

It looks better when you're actually playing it I assure you. I've made all 4 character classes and each one is fun to play. My Viking character is my highest level character and takes damage like no ones business. And there are a large amount of monsters that attack you at once. Not a bunch of weak ones like in diablo 2. You are attacked by dozens of strong monsters that could kill you in a few hits. Its just a fun game that will kick your ass and you'll beg it to do it again. Hell I haven't even beat the first difficulty yet and my Viking is level 90 already...

Alexander Linden 08-25-2011 05:00 PM

Are the classes gender-specific like diablo?

Trakadon 08-25-2011 05:09 PM

Yeah. 2 female and 2 male.

Wide range of weapons though.

Alexander Linden 08-25-2011 05:11 PM

I hate when I can't chose the character's gender... OTL

Trakadon 08-25-2011 05:14 PM

It doesn't really matter what gender or character you pick. each class has 3 different skill trees you can pick from and each one is amazing.

Alexander Linden 08-25-2011 05:19 PM

Just like Diablo it sounds like. I don't really like how most games make the spellcasters female and the warrior-type male.

Trakadon 08-25-2011 05:23 PM

There are 2 magic classes. One male and one female. And two warriors. One male and one female

Alexander Linden 08-25-2011 06:11 PM

The... Viking one is male, and it looks like the Egyptian one is female. I didn't get a good look at the other characters?

Trakadon 08-25-2011 06:15 PM

No the Egyptian is male. The Aztec is female, The Greek warrior is female, and the viking is male

Alexander Linden 08-25-2011 06:24 PM

Oh, the Egyptian is male? Okies. lol
hm... I'm not seeing many good reviews for it... It's a windows game, right? I wonder how well it would run in WINE.

Trakadon 08-25-2011 06:39 PM

Ah don't listen to the reviews. I did and I almost didn't get the game. I'm happy I did though.

I thought WINE was independent of windows so I'm not sure if it can or not.

Never had to worry about that myself. I have my Windows 7 and I'm happy... I wonder... Is it windows 7 home or Pro that I have... hmmm... I'll have to go look :O

Alexander Linden 08-25-2011 08:05 PM

I usually look at a lot of reviews. The main problems I see are hard to use menus and leveling up is weird?

WINE is not an emulator >.> lol It's basically something that people without Windows use to run Windows software. I'm on a Linux computer using Kubuntu, so I have to run a lot of my games in WINE/Crossovergames.

Trakadon 08-25-2011 08:34 PM

The leveling isn't strange. Granted the menus take some getting used to but its easy to pick up and go. The only thing about leveling skills is you have to go to the main town and change the god you worship in order change skill trees. That's about it.

Alexander Linden 08-25-2011 09:06 PM

That sounds a little bit annoying. Changing your god to decide what skill tree you're going to use? Is there a person there that does that or what?

Trakadon 08-25-2011 09:16 PM

In the town there is a giant statue you talk to. You can pick which one you want to follow. Its not that annoying. Besides if you decide to switch gods the stat points in the one you have been leveling stays where they are. You just have to keep leveling it up. Although its a bit hard to level up 2 skill trees at a time but you don't really need to. Each skill tree is strong so it just depends on how you want to level your character.
