there's old pokemon after you get the national dex. until then, though, only new ones.

I know. I don't know how I feel about not having ANY familiar pokemon. but the idea was to make it new for old folks like us as well as kids. hence route numbering starting over as well.

yeah, I like knowing a little of what to expect. it helps me pick my starter and which pokemon I want to catch early on.

hitomoshi really is a gem to get if you dont pick the fire starter(who does anyway ><) its got the best sp atk besides ledgendary in the game in its final form, and the added ghost makes it awesome :P

yeah, I'm not a big fan of the fire starter's evolved forms. I think he's cute as a baby though, but Hitomoshi is definitely more awesome. <3

uh yeah cos the little kiddies bitched about tms being only one use, you go on the battle link and all the 6 year olds have taught everyone of their pokemon thunder and the like
