Christened, though for some reason the same specific church refused to christen my baby brother. He doesn't want to now anyway; seen too many Christians pick on me to want to be one now. It's sad, i think, but true.
If i ever have a kid i'm giving it a wiccaning, even though i'm not wiccan; it doesn't commit the child to a certain path, just gives the child some form of protection. Yourself? |

Another question . . .
does anybody know a good remedy for burns? I kinda caught myself on a metal handle while cooking and the lavender oil trick doesn't seem to work. at the minute i'm uing a spray that's a mild local anaesthetic. I was gonna do myself a crystal essence but i'd like other ideas too, for future reference. I'm prone to burns ;) |
Alovera gel is your best friend. It's how my dad treats his welding burns. That and keep it out of the sun. 'hugs'

On another note, i was given a very pretty reminder last night. Two shooting stars! August is the time of year when one meteor shower or other (perseides or the pleides, not sure which but i know it's one of them) peppers our sky with beautiful shooting stars. Now usually i don't get to see them, the weather's not very nice or i look the wrong way, but last night i was graced with two! I recommend that anyone who can go out and look because they're gorgeous. |

That reminds me, how have you two been during all this ruckus? I've been worried. I've got a lot of friends and family near the mayhem in the midlands too, and it started kicking off here.
also, i'm gonna be a bad girl; i'm hexing my next door neighbour at the next dark moon. Sorry folks but he deserves it after what he's done to my parents and, more importantly, my grandmother and i'm also doing it to try to protect his kids from him and his gods-damned girlffriend/wife/whatever the mouthy cow is. I'm not doing it for revenge, and i'm not going overboard, simply tying his hands and feet - and his mouth - where we're concerned. |
