lulz xD. I don't like coffee as a drink. I only drink it when I'm really really desperate.

Are you serious? D:

I try to stay away from energy drinks now xD. I had this one called Celsius....it made me pee like there was no tomorrow and left me feeling like a strip of stale jerky xD

Alpha 12-22-2012 11:35 PM

Ashy: Who would that be? *tilts head*

Nexy: What kind of energy drink?

Ultima 12-23-2012 12:58 AM

I don't drink coffee at all. o.o;

Coda 12-23-2012 12:59 AM

I drink coffee and LIKE it. XD It's not just the caffeine, although that helps. I actually enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Kamikaze Chinchilla 12-23-2012 01:01 AM

I will buy Coda a bag of civet coffee.

Espy 12-23-2012 01:06 AM

...I read that as "Soviet coffee".

Kamikaze Chinchilla 12-23-2012 01:16 AM

In Soviet Russia, coffee enjoys you *^*

Coda 12-23-2012 01:17 AM

I will resell it and buy myself some Starbucks. XD

Kamikaze Chinchilla 12-23-2012 01:25 AM

No xD. You cannot drink Starbucks xD. You need the real stuff.

:| Not true. I've never had a cup of coffee in my entire life so far and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Alpha 12-23-2012 01:44 AM

I enjoy a cup of coffee every now and then. It's tasty, so I'm with Coda, not just the caffeine.

Arikana 12-23-2012 01:48 AM

So just drink decaffeinated coffee? :o

Also, when you guys drink coffee, do you guys drink the organic, fair trade, and shade grown stuff? :o

Alpha 12-23-2012 02:03 AM

Nah, I don't drink decaf. I mean it's not about the caffeine for me as it is with a lot of people. And I just drink what I get really.....Starbucks isn't bad, but my ultimate preference for coffee is Kona.

Full throttle normally. Tastes like a citrus drink and doesn't turn into cough syrup half way down.

Coda - I'll buy you a bag of Tim Hortons for new years.

Alpha 12-23-2012 02:33 AM

Nice. I stick with Monster myself....though it's only occasional (i.e. once a month at most a lot of the time).

eww, starbucks coffee is probably the worst coffee ive ever tasted. get yourself some papua new guinean coffee and youll never touch anything else ever again :P

SinX_franz 12-23-2012 09:31 AM

Man I hate coffee since I don't know how to create the right brew. I usually end creating super duper bitter coffee which I really hate the most.

Coda 12-23-2012 12:17 PM

I don't drink Starbucks as the best-of-the-best, I drink it as bang-for-your-buck. Cheaper coffee doesn't taste as good, more expensive coffee doesn't taste ENOUGH better to warrant the cost.

Echo-chan713 12-23-2012 12:37 PM

i just don't like coffee because of the bitterness and caffeine does nothing to me

Coda 12-23-2012 01:09 PM

Some people like bitterness -- I do. I prefer dark roasts. I mean, of course like any flavor you can have "too bitter" just as you can have "too salty" or "too sour" but that varies from person to person.

Espy 12-23-2012 01:58 PM

I -usually- don't do coffee for the caffeine. Neither do I drink tea for caffeine...

But I've had coffee and Starbucks Doubleshots at midnight if I realize I'll be up for a good while.

Daigotsu 12-23-2012 05:43 PM

I love coffee. I am not an expert in flavors or roasts or anything, but pretty much pour me a cup of whatever, let me doctor it up (sugar and cream) and I'm set.

SinX_franz 12-23-2012 10:53 PM

I just hate starbucks here in my country, because of how most of my countrymen perceives it.Here when you have a cup of coffee from starbucks, people see you as cool vain rich kid and all sorts of bs. man. it's tavern for annoying hipsters.

Ashy 12-23-2012 11:15 PM

yeah there are far better coffee shops here :P

Daigotsu 12-23-2012 11:46 PM

My favorite coffee shop is called Cool Beans. It's in Downtown Marietta in Georgia. I used to go there all the time when I lived down that way (Now I a in Chicago). I miss it immensely and I have to settle for Dunkin Doughnuts. D:

Sei 12-23-2012 11:59 PM

See? Now that I'm in Indiana, I miss my local Dunkin. I was so sad that they only have Starbucks and a few local chains. If I can't have Dunkins, then I'll skip my morning coffee. It's a stubborn New England tradition. >.>;

Alpha 12-24-2012 12:05 AM

Well....you could always move near where Tiva and I live. We're just getting a Dunkin in sometime in the next few months.

Arikana 12-24-2012 12:05 AM

A Dunkin? o.o
Uh, what is that? :o

Homg ;A; *pets Ari*

They're donut shops xD. But they only exist in the eastern states.

Coda 12-24-2012 12:19 AM

Starbucks had that reputation in the US but they managed to become mainstream and now the hipsters insist that Starbucks sucks and you have to get your coffee from local coffee shops if you really want the authentic atmosphere.

Which is true.

This is what a Dunkin is, Ari.

Arikana 12-24-2012 12:28 AM

@Kami: You make it sound like such a sad thing that I don't know what a Dunkin is. D: There aren't any north of the border. We have Tim Horton's instead. <3

@Sei: Ah, I see.
The way I see it, it's the American version of Tim Horton's.

Ultima 12-24-2012 01:02 AM

Hehe, around here there are more Dunkin Donuts than McDonalds, and Starbucks are fairly hard to find. Ah, Deep River, Connecticut XP

Kamikaze Chinchilla 12-24-2012 01:20 AM

I prefer Dunkins over Starbucks. At least with Dunkins, I can get a donut. At Starbucks, every pastry is over-priced.

Arikana 12-24-2012 02:03 AM

Yeah, I've checked out Starbucks' food and am not impressed with their prices for them. :| Don't they make enough money with their coffee and other drinks so that they can sell their food at cheaper prices? >.>

Coda 12-24-2012 12:32 PM

Starbucks's food definitely is overpriced, although I do occasionally have to treat myself to some because they are pretty good and I don't know where else to find some of the stuff.

Kamikaze Chinchilla 12-24-2012 12:44 PM

Those smaller coffee shops and bakeries <3

You know, I found that during my line of work, those little holes in the walls make way better food than the mainstream businesses most of the time. Coda should be experimental and give them a shot :3
