If you had to put it in parenthesis, it is 100% intended mate. Sorry sir, but I am going to call you out on that pun.

Suzerain of Sheol 10-07-2013 09:29 PM

But it's so horrible! I don't think I can live with the shame!

Suzerain of Sheol 10-07-2013 10:41 PM

Abaddon: Lo, the dead rise in their billions at my command! Kneel, and know terror!

Death: Mine arrow doth pierce the heavy hearts of gods, and layeth them low. None living, nor spirit ling'ring may withstand its bite.

Thanatos: Wheresoever I ride, all that breathes doth die.

Satan: I lie, never once more to rise, sighing out such blood from ruptured lungs, and innumerable terrors of my dir'st thought doth rise from the horrid pestilence I weep. And I so bleed eternally.

False Prophet: I have brought to heel the sacred sovr'nty of mighty Jerusalem, and armed my legions with such--

Zaccheus: No. Just, no. Shut up. You tried that gimmick back at Armageddon, 'Oh, look at me, I have 200 million men, I'm going to take over the world!' Remember how that turned out? You've got nothing.

False Prophet: But--

Abaddon: He hath, as they say, a point. Your pretense at war provides such endless amusement, and I am so very rarely amused.

False Prophet: Nonsense! I have laid low your wretched hordes in myriads!

Abaddon: And yet, they ever return. How very bewitching...

Seth: Hey, could you guys keep it down? Cherry here is trying to sleep.

Zaccheus: Cher...ry?

Death: Who?

Thanatos: What?

Abaddon: How...?

Satan: No.

False Prophet: Oh, this is rich. But, alas, these times doth try us all. Even the mighty Cherubim must needs find their place in this broken, battered world... I am sure he is honored to be... *snigger* your pet.

Seth: You bet he is, aren't you boy? WHO'SAGOODBOY?

Cherubim #3: What can it yet avail, though we feel such strength undiminished, and with Eternal being to undergo Eternal punishment?

Death: I've this dart... oh don't look so horrified! See how he suffers? And you would call us cruel, boy. More mad than either of your brothers. Lo, how fallen, these piteous Sons of Adam....

Zaccheus: *loading a shotgun* Seth, I think.... Cherry.... needs to go for a walk behind the barn. With me. Alone.

...That made my trudging endlessly through homework a bit more bearable.

That, and the fact that I just ran through four Submachine games. ...Suze, you should try those. They might interest you.

Suzerain of Sheol 10-10-2013 09:50 PM

Okay, planning to move us ahead sometime Saturday, if anyone else is going to post, please get them in by then. Not that... there's anything really left to do out here.

Suzerain of Sheol 10-12-2013 03:11 PM

It has begun.

Espy 10-12-2013 04:58 PM

Sorry, not the best post ever, but I wanted to post something and couldn't wait for lucidity. Least his confusion comes across pretty clearly? :P

Suzerain of Sheol 10-12-2013 05:00 PM

Actually worked pretty well, Espy. In fact, could really use *someone* to notice that there's no souls being released as they burn them all and try and get them to stop.

Things are not what they seem here... :X

Gallagher 10-12-2013 05:02 PM

I AM SO EXCITE RIGHT NOW THAT I CAN'T EVEN.

Espy 10-12-2013 05:11 PM

Wait, there aren't? Shit, I'll have to edit that, then -- I thought they were like Dybbuk.

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure to what extent he'd be able to figure out there aren't souls or what the massive...mass is in front of him if there...aren't...soul aura things. Oh boy. Words.

Suzerain of Sheol 10-12-2013 05:19 PM

They *are* to all appearances, but normally the possessing soul would be freed after being shocked out of the body by that kind of violence. Granted, Thomas' theurgic fire would vaporize their spirits pretty fast, but there should still be some residue. But there isn't.

Weird....

Espy 10-12-2013 05:20 PM

Oh okay. So there ARE souls in there, they just for some reason don't exist after being...erm...purged.

Espy 10-12-2013 05:27 PM

Edited, so he's now panic-flailing his way towards Thomas.

Suzerain of Sheol 10-12-2013 05:29 PM

Well, I'd say he sees *something* out there, but they don't seem to be behaving like any souls he's ever encountered. So, no need to edit anything else I don't think.

Espy 10-12-2013 05:30 PM

Oops. Just did. I can change it back if necessary.

Suzerain of Sheol 10-12-2013 05:34 PM

WAIT NO

It's fine!

LEAVE IT!!!!!!

PLEASE
