trick to that is handling them regularly, and helping them associate human peeps with good things.

Good things like food and water? :D

Our roommate's cat didn't like us very much so I used to try to feed her all the time to get her to like me. The roommate said that it wouldn't work. That cats just think that the food magically appears in their food bowl.

I replied with: Then why do they start whining when they are out of food?

I helped my boys (kitties) get really tolerant by futzing with them from the day we got them at 7 weeks old. Futz with their paws, to make claw trimming easier, futz with their teeth so teeth cleaning is easier, hold them even when they don't want it, to get them accustomed to it, brush them to get them to like it, all the while giving them treats. Now when I go to trim one of the boys claws, the other boy waits by the chair for his turn. :P

Made a southwestern seafood frittata yesterday and it was really yummy. :D

3 of my cats pretty tolerable of everything because I messed with them growing up too XD
Bonez is the most tolerable, he is so chill you can give him rasberries on his belly =3

I've never tried that (cat hair in mouth - blech), but I bet Presto would be too. Pixel would just be a squirm bucket. XD

I believe the Russian Silkie Chicken is very amenable to being handled, much easier to pet than the ordinary chicken. Also they look like giant cotton balls.

littl3chocobo 04-24-2016 04:50 PM

those big floofy ones that look like sheepdogs? XD

CreativeCorpse 04-24-2016 05:02 PM

okay i like scrambled eggs in ramen does that count?

Witchchylde 04-24-2016 05:03 PM

Yep, those are the ones. They're very placid and actually seem to enjoy being cuddled.

littl3chocobo 04-24-2016 05:03 PM

yes XD as long as the eggs you scrambled in it are not chocolate ones (we are egg racist here)

littl3chocobo 04-24-2016 05:04 PM

they look like they'd enjoy a good brushing too

Fulkth 04-25-2016 04:04 PM

Our cat doesn't mind his paws being touched and he doesn't growl when we are near his food bowl. But he does sometimes get annoyed when you play with his tail. And he's not a big cuddler. He hates cuddles. His idea of cuddles is sleeping next to you. XD

Well, since my plans for Friday got kinda messed up, I'm going to Omaha later today, then coming home so I'm able to take Mom to the high school in time for her to go to a thing related to her job.

littl3chocobo 04-26-2016 03:38 AM
