I'm arting! I'm arting!

Sadly not art that people can see right now. I'm gluing some tissue to a canvas and seeing how it turns out. Alas, flat was just not to happen so I'm hoping saturating it with the glue will hide the fold marks with the resulting ripples. Stupid tissue is delicate though. I managed to rip all four corners on the first layer. I'm leaving the second layer alone to dry a bit before attempting to wrap it around the rest of the canvas. This will probably end up being a mixed media thing. In other words, I'm making it up as I go!

That sounds like some interesting art, Quiet.
I wanna see it when you finish it!

We'll have to see. I an take weeks to finish a project, especially if I'm not sure what I'm doing, but that can also make it faster.

The wrinkles are smoothing out but it appears a water drop arrived from somewhere and left a watermark on the tissue so now I'm wondering how to hide that. Waiting for it to dry is the hardest part! I want to keep fiddling (especially since an edge is lifting) but I risk tearing the tissue paper.

I might make a tester out of one of my tiny canvases to see how the tissue handles watercolour paint.
