Yerp.

Well, obviously nothing is canon until it even has a chance to happen, and I think we can all agree that pretty much nothing in that previous discussion warrants a place in this rp.

Less love, more zombie guts.

Don't read too much into it. Think more boarding school type situation where there wasn't much chance for a real relationship to form anyway.

I'll probably need to tweak Tarja's background a little more when I can think of something, but the changes won't affect role play much. Are character backgrounds going to be relevant in the near future, apart from general interactions between characters?

Then I have done my job.

Lawtan 11-12-2013 01:44 AM

Sorry, Suzerain.
Was just poking fun with characters.
Kadis: Wheeee! Imma burning zombies!
See?

Espy 11-12-2013 02:04 AM

I am worried about the mental health of these people.

Would be rather hypocritical of me to resent ooc fun after my parodies like 20 pages back.

You merely have the misfortune of rping with an asexual. My condolences. :P

Espy 11-12-2013 02:27 AM

...My network of friends is a tangled mess of various sexualities.

(No, seriously. WTF even is normal.)

Ah, I wouldn't consider that to be a...misfortune. It just means we get to annoy you for fun.

I'm kidding.

Sort of.

No, don't throw whatever's hanging on the wall next to you at me.

Oh, you very much do not want that. :P

Espy 11-12-2013 02:30 AM

I know. I'm pretty sure it's either a book or some pointy bladed thing.

Gallagher 11-12-2013 02:39 AM

My bet is pointy thing.

A Galla's weird complicated panromantic demisexualism demands that I get uncomfortable unless things are discussed largely in innuendo.

-waggles eyebrows-

Espy 11-12-2013 03:18 AM

An Espy's bicurious genderfuckedness demands more chaos in general. Preferably with innuendos tossed in.

Quiet Man Cometh 11-12-2013 03:48 AM

And Quiet will just sit here and twiddle her thumbs until the discussion passes.

Espy 11-12-2013 04:27 AM

-chuckles- I am good at making people uncomfortable.

Lawtan 11-12-2013 08:47 AM

*shrugs*
I'm somewhere between asexual heteromantic and pansexual, so...
(Up for debate, along with gender identity - Imma mongoose-dog!)

Salone 11-12-2013 09:02 AM

I play straight, but I pretend to be interested in men at the gay bar if it gets me a free drink.

...So far, it hasn't worked.

Gallagher 11-12-2013 09:06 AM

Shame, but hey, keep tryin' man.

Unrelated, the rp needs more chaos.

Salone 11-12-2013 09:09 AM

...Chaos can happen. I am sleep deprived and just finished reading the first Necroscope, give me a bit.

Gallagher 11-12-2013 09:49 AM

You're my new favorite thing.

Lawtan 11-12-2013 11:53 AM

How would one add chaos?

Espy 11-12-2013 12:40 PM

Wouldn't you like to know :D

Espy 11-12-2013 12:42 PM

Oh dear god I didn't get through half of Salon'e post. Nope. Nope nope nope.

Very astute. On one hand, there's my 1856 hardbound illustrated Paradise Lost. On the other, there's a battleaxe. As the book is rather fragile *and* important to me, you'll have to settle for the axe, which is not, fragile. :P

Also, Salone, that was transcendent. Be brave, Espy!

Lawtan 11-12-2013 01:24 PM

I hate not knowing things...
I'll just have to take my hand and add to the chaos in my own particular...idiom :-)

Lawtan 11-12-2013 02:12 PM

Umm...anyone mind if I post another scene for Kadia...
*Not sure if her turn or not*

Suzerain of Sheol 11-12-2013 02:24 PM

Go ahead. Next time I post we're basically done here, so everyone get their carnage fix while we have the opportunity, yes? :P (only so many ways you can really carry on a zombie horde scene, I think we're reaching the end here.)

Lawtan 11-12-2013 02:28 PM

...should have come in a bit sooner, I guess. *shrugs*
I'll add some chaos before it closes, however. *evil grin*

Arikana 11-12-2013 05:33 PM

Though I haven't said it officially, but just cause of school I'm gonna take a break from rp until December 14. Y'all seem to be able to move along without me anyways and I have a ton of assignments with upcoming due dates, plus new ones that were given out today.

Not sure how I'll catch up later, but I'll figure that out when the time comes.

Suzerain of Sheol 11-12-2013 07:58 PM

Lawtan, a tiny issue that I noticed in your last post, fashioning her staff into an explosive is a twofold problem.

1.) We're all clumped right over the area we need to clear. Anyone who survived would not be too happy about her dropping a bomb in the middle of the party.

2.) Just frankly, if they deemed an explosive necessary, they still have their grenade launchers on hand if push comes to shove. These men are exceptionally well-equipped.

And just a general note, I know in a lot of verses plot shields and kung-fu can outfight generic grunts with machine guns, but I feel I need to stress that those 5 soldiers have given a positively exceptional accounting of themselves (at the expense of all their very copious supply of ammunition. They're nearly dry.) In all, at this point, they've racked up a kill count in the high thousands at the least.

Nothing wrong with having your character be badass (goes for anyone) but at the same time, credit where it's due.

On a similar note, everyone seems to be downplaying the... magical flaming swords all the Jesus zombies are wielding. They were supposed to be at least reasonably good with them. Just saying :P

...and likening Dante to the Red Horseman might be hyperbolizng just, just the tiniest bit. ;)

Lawtan 11-12-2013 07:59 PM

Oh...It was Kadia's idea *points to character* - also, it is more like "massive electrical shrapnel" - It was to add to Galla's request for Chaos. Whoever pops in next can stop her.
I made her too badass? She only killed about 50 of them in my mind...
I did not even realize they had swords >.> my bad.
Also, they just seemed to be coming more and more, so I assumed that was a bad thing...
Sorry if I crossed the bounds.
:-(
*Hugs Arikana*
Good luck!

Suzerain of Sheol 11-12-2013 08:09 PM

No, I didn't mean she's too badass. I meant the soldiers don't need her help *that* badly (though they will in a second when their guns click empty....)

You're fine, was just the explosion thing that I was remarking as not entirely tactically sound. :P

Edit: Also, if someone tells her to run momentarily, I suggest she does so. :X

Fair warning. :P

Suzerain of Sheol 11-12-2013 08:30 PM

If I may advise everyone (who possesses any kind of valuable electronics on their person):

Do write your next posts such that you make it underground before those grenades go off.

Or, if you want to make things REALLY interesting... don't. :D

(though we're thankfully more reliant on mechanized equipment than digital from what I can remember.)

Lawtan 11-12-2013 08:39 PM

God-Cloaky-Bomb go *pfzzt*
R.I.P. God-Cloaky-Bomb
So, Into the darkness?

Suzerain of Sheol 11-12-2013 08:42 PM

Well, she's welcome to stay out here. They'd love to have her. :P

Quiet Man Cometh 11-12-2013 10:17 PM

*Throws away headstones and starts telekinetic tornado of flaming bronze swords*

Is that up-playing them enough?

I may have slept in a little late today. Seems I missed a bunch of the action. *Goes to check thread*

Lawtan 11-12-2013 10:38 PM

*Sends in necromancer group*
Pies lesu domine,
dona eis requiem
*bop*

No, Kadia will run...with Rurik 10 feet ahead of her...
Umm...don't flames not do much?

Quiet Man Cometh 11-12-2013 10:47 PM

Well instead of previous hard thing tornado it is now a hard and sharp thing tornado. One would hope that would be something of an upgrade.

I somehow completely missed the portion about them being armed. My apologies.

Suzerain of Sheol 11-12-2013 11:25 PM

Wasn't really a big deal, I just really liked the image of them pulling burning swords from their throats. :P

Is a thing in Revelation. :X

Lawtan 11-12-2013 11:44 PM

I need to get back to reading that book...but my copy is in Koine Greek...

Suzerain of Sheol 11-12-2013 11:54 PM

It's free in English in like a million places online, just Google it. :P
