hullo Reaper! well, my sinuses are misbehaving but otherwise all is good. =)
I'm trying to relax before bed, I still have a few mins till I can play the claw game again.
relaxing before bed is always a good thing to do. =)
Yeah when it was my boys that stressed me out.
ugh. how did they stress you out?
Well my 3 year old is still not potty trained, no matter how HARD we have tried the past year even though he knows where and where not to go. I just don't get it!
And when my 3 year old cried or fusses so does my 1 year old, and it takes a long time to calm him down. |
oh wow. i don't envy you... *hugs*
i kinda remember potty training days... but my daughters are 14 and 18.... |
Must be nice, I hear girls are easy to potty train. I have given up, I just don't know what to do. We have tried everything, other than the whole no bottoms letting them go where ever method, which is just gross! I don't let my pets on in the floor and i damn sure ain't letting my kid!!
I guess I just have to wait it out. But NO not doing this with the other!! |
i do remember with the older one, we had a 'no bottoms' day... but that's what helped her learn... that and actual underwear. same with the younger one. not the pull-ups, those seemed too much diaper-like.
while my two brothers are younger than me, and i was old enough to know what was happening when the youngest was being potty trained, potty-training boys is something i know nothing about. |
ew, that all sounds gross. >.<
Totally agreed.
such is life! =)
Not if you never get kids.
hm. this is true.
didn't mean to gross anyone out, sorry! |
It's just a conversation, don't worry.
ah... *whew*
anyway... next conversation! XD |
Yeah sorry about or Mom potty training talk. XD LOL It could be worse. ^_~
But yeah I think we are going to go back to real big boy underwear and just stick with it. I just need to learn to NOT let it stress me out, and my hubby needs to learn to help me out with it a HELL of a lot more. It's kinda why he's not already potty trained, he didn't help when I was preggo last year when our oldest was almost trained. Realy pissed me off bc here I was sick as a dog and preggo and he didn't help out. But now he regrets it and knows it was his fault and is doing much better. Plus he is doing extra to keep my stress levels down bc it is starting affect my health. |
i'm totally for hubby helping out - mine did when i was pregnant both times, and when the kids were little. heck, he still does - him and younger daughter go go-karting a few times a week. =D
Yeah we have had our issues about stuff like that. I would get so mad bc he would tell me before that he wanted to have a family, and when we did have it he didn't do anything with it, just went to work came home went to bed and repeated the cycle. It's been a rough and bumpy 3 years but we are still here. And he's getting better, he wants me to go to the doc about my stress but I know it won't help. Plus we can't afford it, they'd just tell me to try to stay away from stress up stuff or if things are bad enough, put me in the hospital. Which aaat one point it was that bad, but this week has been ok so far, knock on wood.

glad you're still here, Reaper.
i play online and watch my tv shows to get away from stress. and i know what you mean about not having money... our credit card bills are pretty stressful! |
Oh yeah your kids are in school, must be nice to have some time without kids. Now that will help with stress. I try to do the same things but it doesn't always work out. See my hubby works nights so I have the boys from noon on, I don't get any me time.
'me time' is very important, and there were some times when the kids were younger that hubby would just pack them up in the car and go for a drive with them so i could have some time for me.
Mine does that only when his dad is home, he works on an oil rig over seas. Home for a month and gone for a month, but he was here when both boys were born. Heck he got in the night before my youngest got here, labor sucks!!! Didn't have it with the 1st but did the 2nd. Mu husband is like 'Wow you just had a good one" as he looked at the screen when I was at the hospital. I just glared at him and said "Realy?!" But we laugh about it now.
oh wow...
and i'm off to bed, g'night lovelies! |
goodnight, Trystan!
ow. not sure if i slept funny, or if it was the shoes/boots i was wearing yesterday, but my side/back on the left side (around my waist area) is all sore, feels like i pulled it, or had a weird workout (which would be weird, since i don't work out...)
anyway, g'morning all! XD |
Sometimes you just sleep weirdly.
there is that too.
I woke up sleeping in a strange way today. Our bed is on it's last leg, neither me nor my husband can get a good nights sleep on it anymore. It's one thing on our list to get.
aw, that sounds bad.
Hello and how are you?
I'm good! How are you!?
Getting ready to hit the hay, just a few mins till I can play the crane game! ^_^
nice, nice. I think I got most of the common stuff in the crane game, I just keep getting repeats.
we got a new mattress a few years ago, so i don't think that was why i've been sore the past two mornings.
ooh, off to see what's in the crane game this hour... |
Well it often helps to tighten the bed legs and sometimes it helps getting a extra mattress.
Sometimes the mattress can make you feel bad some backs just don't like some mattresses. |
i've wondered if that sleep number mattress really works...?
I prefer weighted blankets.
*dusts off the teacups*
