Well, no deserts for us.

This is certainly not a desert, but they have been sighted by the shore here, so may they drop in some spaces here or there just because. I was in a store at the time. He would have been in the store as well, judging by proximity. The first Growlithe I saw on radar was at my sister's place at 4am and she lives near a creek. There are often water pokemon around her place and my brother's.

Man, last night was pretty good! My sister wasn't sure about going to stops last night, but I talked her into it. She caught her first Diglett, her first Vulpix, and her 10km egg hatched into a Dratini!

"Desert" was a little bit hyperbole on my part. The closest desert from here is on the other side of the mountains. But it IS a hot, dry region, and Pokemon Go pays attention to real-world biome things like that.

We're close to Florida, but not a very hot dry region. Hot, humid region yes.

I was in North Vancouver, BC at the time. Famous for being wet.

Drove out to my sister's place, my current home base, but I wasn't driving so I go to play pokemon on the way. Couldn't catch all the stops, wasn't fast enough, but got a bunch of pokemon, a newer and tougher venonat (not enough to evo yet), and one eevee, after seeing one and having it error out when I tapped on it. That happened twice. I also got to find out where some of the "local" stops actually were since I wasn't driving for once. A couple hiking trails and landmarks have stops attached to them.

I can only hope we'll see one or two. That's all you really need, right? Though I guess you'd need a really good one.

She's almost 3/4ths of the way to her Vileplume. We get a lot of grassy Pokemon.

Congrats on the Aerodactyl! Same thing happened to my sister, hatched hers and had 5km eggs left.

We went to set out her lure at the park, but there were people there. Went around to stops and someone put out a lure downtown, so we just mooched off it. She has over 100 Pokeballs, needs to use them because her inventory is getting super full.

That's so cool! I can't wait to see what my eggs hatch into. XD

I'm hoping to hatch a Growlithe if I can, since I rarely see them and it's going to take a lot of walking otherwise to get the candy I need. I've hatched 2 Vulpix so I have a good start on my Ninetails. Currently hatching a 2km egg. Could use more eevee candy as well. My three evos are no longer tough enough compared to my other guys. I seem to be queen of the pidgeys right now.

Got another Oddish towards Vileplume last night, and she caught an Abra that was sitting on my tablet. She also took a gym. It was neutral, so she ran to claim it.

Seems like there's bursts of great days, followed by several days of Pidgeys everywhere.

My sister is Instinct.

We went to the park to use her lure and incense, caught about 15 Pokemon, she's up to level 16 now. It started to storm about ten minutes after we left the park, so I guess we timed that right!

I think they changed the spawn rates some time recently...I haven't fired up Pokemon Go in a couple weeks, and did this morning, as well as took a mile and a half walk (that is something I try to do regularly, but haven't in a few weeks). I normally have Pokemon Go running during that, and catch maybe two pokemon, and ignore a few pidgeys and rattatas.

Today, no rattatas at all, maybe 4 pidgeys, 4 weedles, plus a krabby, bulbasaur, poliwag, venonat, gastly, and an exeggute. Quite the collection from a mile & a half walk.

Plus a ponyta from a 5k egg, so that's cool.

I don't know about the spawn rates, but it seemed like last night the range for the PokeStops may have increased? It seemed like my sister was hitting them earlier than usual.

We've been seeing about the same amount of Pidgey and Rattata, but I do feel others are spawning with them. Or maybe it's just been a few good days. I've noticed a lot more Poliwags, wondering if they may have taken over the Shelder nest in the last rotation.

They change up the spawns periodically.

Caught a Squirtle while we were out, and she actually took a gym. Granted there were two Pokemon there, she beat it instead of snatching up a neutral one.

Eeeeee! Eevee buddy rides on your shoulder!

Yeah, swapped out Pix for Eevee, since I need 5 more candys to evo the guy and I'm not finding any. Alas, his walk time is longer than Pix, 5k instead of 3.

Nobody new in a while, and I'm running out of pokeballs so I'll actually need to go on a stop run at some point.

5km for Eevee? I thought they were all 3km.

Guess everybody's changing buddies. My sister's Gloom is now a Vileplume, so she has Poliwhirl she's walking with now.

Oh, so maybe that's why more things ahve been near where I live pokemon wise. o.O

OK, I didn't know that was based on the rarity. Eevees I'm not worried about, she's got like 40 caught. But yeah, her Dragonair, that'll be fun.

I put my dragonair on as my buddy to make it easier. :3

My buddy mon is an Abra. It's gonna take FOREVER to evolve that thing with just walking around. 1 candy per 3km is sucky.

Also, I think yesterday's spawns for me were a fluke. Today only pidgey, rattata, and weedle.

I just got squealed at, hugged, and kissed for ten minutes. We were in the drive thru and I asked for her phone. Snorlax showed up in sighted, and by the time she took it from me, up he popped!
