I think it depends on where you live and the landlord. A lot of apartments here are necoming "no pets" or "dogs negotiable". Ehich really sucks.

Demonskid 04-27-2017 11:08 PM

We think the snake was the reason they got kicked out >->,

They allow pets here.. suppose to be 1 pet per household/apartment but if you have a note for health reasons you get a 'companion' pet and a house pet.. if 2 people each have a note (i need to get one to keep kuromi) its 2 companion pets and 1 house pet

if you have a fish tank.. your only allowed 1 FISH! like wtf!? D:< no hamsters .. and if it is an exotic pet, (like chinchilla or python) you have to do something to see if it is allowed..

Dogs have to be the small dog type.. so when it comes to their python.. a snake that big was a no no >->,

Most places around here say no pets or just 1...

Kaderin Triste 04-27-2017 11:17 PM

Okay that fish rule is so dumb! But in general 1 pet per apartment isn't a bad rule...but still sucks.
My complex switched to a "no pets" apartment complex December 2015, but I had my cats prior to that, so I can keep them, I just can't get any other pets.
But I think that small fish like a Betta or Goldfish are probably fine as long as they aren't in some giant tank.

Demonskid 04-27-2017 11:25 PM

I think each state should make a 'pet' amount.. like what you can own legally before it becomes a hoarding thing.. when I was little i didn't know any better and called ALL the 'free to good home' kitten/cat ads >w>, ended up with 28.. never again.

I love my kitties.. zeke is more of moms baby though.. he prefers her..

-stares at sparx's zoo- >w>, she has like 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 turtles, and 2 bunnies.. x'D

Kaderin Triste 04-27-2017 11:37 PM

Oh my gosh that's a lot of cats! I think I would max out at 3.
I would say that pet allowances would have to vary based on where a person lived too. Because for an apartment, Sparx's zoo is a lot, but for a big house with a yard or a place in the country is wouldn't be so bad.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:13 AM

I think in general having pets in an apartment isn't such a good idea.

Unless it's fish. or a qtqt turtle. Or a cat that likes jumping walls xD long as you're not too high up.

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 12:19 AM

I have 2 cats in a 3rd floor apartment. Not sure what you mean by jumping walls, but other than occasionally picking at the screens on the windows (usually trying to get at a bug on the other side) they are fine.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:20 AM

I've also heard of a distinction like outdoor cats and indoor cats, I guess they aren't raring to go out much?

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 12:24 AM

They probably wouldn't mind being outside, but would probably stick close to me. It's a cross between wanting out, but being scared of the unfamiliar.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:25 AM

Awww that's adorable <3 like separation anxiety with their mommy!

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 12:30 AM

Oh they hate when I'm gone for more than about 24 hours. Even if I have someone watch them while I'm gone, as soon as I am back, they swarm over me. And if I sit down, I'm not getting up again.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:31 AM

AJAJAJA SO CUTE

>.<

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 12:38 AM

Yeah...it's cute until it's the middle of the summer and I am roasting to death with 3 fans blowing on me in the middle of the night and they want to snuggle.
XD
But yeah...even when they are super annoying, I wouldn't trade them for anything.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:43 AM

And them with all their fur still wanting to snuggle xD
What is with their body temp or tolerance Dx
Aww :D

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 12:45 AM

And of course when I'm cold and want them to snuggle they'd rather sleep in the living room.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:56 AM

Typical xD

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 12:58 AM

Yep. Typical little brats.
XD

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 01:03 AM

Adorbs brats. Dx

That word ALWAYS reminds me of my fave dolls in childhood tho :P

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 01:10 AM

Haha...I never was big into dolls.
But I know the ones you're talking about.
Bratz.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 01:51 AM

Yeah lol.

I was absolutely obsessed with them when I was a kid, around 10-12 years.

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 01:57 AM

I did really get into Monster High dolls when they first came out. But after a couple years kind of lost interest. So I have over 50 dolls that I am hoping to grade in exchange for 1-2 ooak paint jobs.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 02:23 AM

Ooh do you have a lot of oak paneling in your house?

Lol the Monster High show though <.< and Ever After High >.>

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 02:27 AM

Oak paneling? No.
Ooak=one of a kind

I never got into Ever After High. But Monster High was fun for a while. I haven't kept up with it though.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 02:29 AM

I see, custom paint jobs

That's cool o u o

H'mmm neither have I. Both shows are nice stress busters tho xD

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 02:33 AM

Yeah. Custom doll paint jobs. Maybe one or two that look like a couple of my characters.

I used to have the Monster High theme song memorized. Haha

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 02:38 AM

Wow. Are you into BJDs?

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 02:45 AM

I want to be somewhat, but they're too expensive for me.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 02:46 AM

Same here lol. Just one among the other hobbies I want to get into but can't afford, like videogames and Lolita fashion.

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 02:49 AM

Yeah. Personally I'm not big into Lolita (too cutesy for me), but I would love to have the time and money to do more chainmaille and scalemaille stuff. Like actually making vests and guantlets and stuff.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 02:52 AM

I googled those and wow o3o so cool! I esp like the scale maille jewellery

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 02:54 AM

Yeah there's a lot of cool stuff that can be done. I haven't done much in the way of scalemaille other than some loom knitted scalemaille gloves, but I have supplies on the way for some scalemaille candle holders and chainmaille ornaments.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 02:57 AM

That's awesome! Many peeps on Tris do such cool craft stuff and I can't art or craft at all lol, it makes me jelly xD

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 03:00 AM

If you were here, I would teach you chainmaille stuff! It's really not too hard to learn. Just kind of time consuming.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 07:45 AM

Aw sweet of you :3 that would be fun!
Time-consuming to learn or time-consuming to do?

dragoness129 04-28-2017 09:50 AM

I've seen a really badass chainmail armor made from soda can pop tabs.

Death by Mirrors 04-28-2017 12:10 PM

You mean this one? It's on my ever growing list of to-do crafts, once I get a ton of soda can pop tops, that is.

dragoness129 04-28-2017 01:02 PM

Yes, but I had seen the full picture with chest, helm, leg guards and all:
Here

And looking, I just saw this Corset! that looks amazing!

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 01:50 PM

Sternum:Kind of both. Just because of having to open an close tons of rings can take a lot of time. And learning certain weaves can also take a lot of time and patience.

Wow if I actually drank soda/beverages with tabs that stuff would be a cool project! O.O

Death by Mirrors 04-28-2017 01:52 PM

Whoa, that guy has too much free time! He could easily become my best buddy! ^^
Corset looks awesome as well, even though I imagine it might be uncomfortable to wear. With scale mail at least the weight is distributed over your shoulders.

dragoness129 04-28-2017 02:02 PM

I've been collecting soda tops for years now. Still no where near enough.
I've also taken them from other people's drinks before they were thrown out.
