Ginger + Yuki: Paying by phone usually costs avatar sites more money than they make. Not to mention one of them recently got rid of their US service. So it would be difficult to find a stable, decent rated company to do the phone thing. Most people don't know that though. Can't speak on the behalf of Fen or any of the others, this is simply what I've learned from my experiences.

as for western union, yes, those are electronic transfer money orders. Most places get the money same day or next day depending on when the receiver goes to pick it up. All you have to do is provide the person with the code for the transfer. There's usually also a small fee depending on where you're sending the money. Best to look into it when and if you go to western union as they always explain it.

I've heard that but I like having more options. On Ernya I usually donate with my cell phone but on Roliana I usually go with paypal...and so on...

Well, just keep in mind that whatever the option, the site still needs to make money somewhere. If this place can find something other than one bip to do cell phone transactions, it could very well be possible. I recall one bip charging all the way up to 70% on all incoming donations after a set period of time. Whether or not it's changed since then is another matter.

Onebip doesn't allow US users anymore? lol It's usually the other way around. :B That kinda sucks though. And 70% is greedy. ;V

It's really great how such a good community like this one wants to help Japan. It's really sad about over there. I see it on the news almost 24/7.. I wish I could help by donating but sadly I don't have a budget :( But I want to! I will make money to do it!

I know, cuz my job depends on having it done before a certain date. It's a pretty gruesome situation because one individual messed everything up for me, and now I have to put work/study hours into the weekend.

Actually, I'm not even supposed to do stuff on weekends. I'm supposed to have a normal 5 day a week work schedule. So if we add the two days, then it's like working 12 consecutive days. And I won't even get paid for the two extra days, but I have to otherwise my supervisor gets in trouble and I might get fired for it.
