If i had a pool i could swim in that is where i would be EVERY DAY. no way any one could get me out of there, expressly is it was indoor.

well i think that they should plan on staying there a long time. So getting a house and an apartment would be their next step while finding the professor....

Other then that i don't know. What do you think... how would they get from each world?

Well how about the professor has actually been there for about a month before they actually 'fell' into the world. (I'm thinking she could wear some steampunk kind of thing because that is close to the same era. Or is, I dunno), and she stepped into a crowd of scientists/alchemists since she had to also find a way out. And maybe she finds away to open another portal for them to jump through.

Maybe an apartment, but a house seems.... too permenant to me. /shrugs. Since they are really just going to jump out before long.

I like it! and yes steam punk was around then! the steam locomotive and the steam ship where around then so i'm sure more steam stuff would be up and running!

yea my brother is going to college as well but i don't think he will be geting a new laptop.... or a laptop at all! I got lucky with mine. My friend gave it to me for free..

you should only have a expensive phone if your gonna use it everyday... i happen to do so and i also have to manage my dads business with it too... (emails, phone calls, and documents)

I don't have a super expensive phone, but I do use it often enough. Not to mention my mom and brother use it as well.
