Jank, junk, stuff, things. Its specific meaning varies depending on the context, but it's usually used in the neutral or negative sense. Good things ain't jank.

@Uma: Oh, I see... *nods* I would like to read that prose ^^
@gall: *tilts head to the side* |
I am not understanding Gallagher. Are you saying my use of "ya'll" made you headdesk? I apologize and I am happy to spell it "y'all" if you wish.
Oh Lauv that is very kind of you...you can read it if you want, I guess they won't be posting them if one loses...not sure. |
It's a thing. "Ya'll" brings to mind "ya", making it sound like "you will", instead of "you all". My area has a good variety in used accents, so getting specific about it is kind of a habit.
I think Quiet was going to, for people who were okay with it. |
Ok Gallagher.
Anyhow, time for me to take off, ttyl. |
You can post it in my thread or as a visitor message or as a PM~ :3
|
I see both ya'll and y'all as you all, but I personally type y'all as it makes more sense.
|
As for me, I use "y'all" in jest or endearment to a certain group of people... if I pertain to the whole humanity, I use "You humans" or "you people" <--- but that's my misanthropicism. XD

Just out of curiosity.. is Aye used as yes anywhere outside of Scotland? xD
|
yes, ducky. XD everyone knows "aye" means yes...as far as I know... *blinks*
ever since looney tunes introduced that to kids. xD |
Title of thread reminds me....
I want a duck pond!!!!! (there have been so many at the park little baby ducks and some are doing pretty well, wish I had a place duck would come too) |
I know most people are aware that it means yes, i'm just curious as to whether or not it is actually used. I say aye without thinking in skype calls and everyone will laugh or act like i said something cool >_<
Hello there o-o -gives you a mini duck pond- |
@ducky: It's just like the american, 'Aight... *nods*
**has been studying language on her own** Hi hi kotomi~! |
'Aight being 'all right', yes? That is used here by certain groups of people.
|
*nods* yeah, mostly used by african americans.
