Yeah, it is becoming like Gaia.
I am a member of several avatar communities, and that one ranks pretty low.

I can't find places to feel comfortable in. They won't let us have a FR hangout, and everyone is either in RP threads or in open water spamming.. hardly anyone posts

I only go there for the Farms at this point >w>

I've never tried the farms, since they seem to be down all the time. And the item you need, well, they are not in the shop any more, or they have changed their name.

Why do so many places have to have sucky staff? ^^;

Rin: The farms and the items were (some still are) broken due to a server crash a lot of the item images were lost so they took a lot of things offline until they can afford a new server. ovo

ML: So many sites have staff that doesn't give a crap about its members. Well, unless they have been around for a long time.

I think it may be more "common rules of business don't work as well for running a social environment"...

*I don't know. I just know most companies change because they get bought out and the newcomer tends to replace the old folk with "their folk"

Gaia Online has been around for a while, their staff still sucks >w>

Most communities are nice, the only ones I have had bad experience at are Gaia and Solia. Uh, does anyone know what happened to Kinsaki?

It's an avatar community I found on Google, but there have been no news for 14 months or so. :/ I liked their avatars, so it's a shame.

I see.. its hard for the Avatar sites to survive. even if they have really nice avatar and item art. Fallouts between staff, not enough funding.. too many things.

Yeah, and it blows. I am on basically every avvie site there is, except recolor.me, which I found to be boring.

I just wish the good ones would really stick around, like Trisphee. Though compared to some places its not very active here. ^^; I hope Coda can finish implementing some of those games soon, I want to play them so much!

I like it how it is too though I doubt they're barely making enough to survive ._.
